Bet #3:

Bettors refused to take it for 240. Just shows how bad this one was.

110.59 EUR net profit since the beginning.

Here's some explanation how NOT to choose a race to bet on:

When you see all the options are having odds of 10 or less (one is 27 but it's still risky), then betting on a horse NOT to win the race is like tossing a dice, you have too many chances against you.

Your goal is to pick a horse that won't even make a threat against the pack, and if you really want to take a risk in a race like this - then here is where you should Lay The Favorite - expression known by many bettors as a strategy to bet on the horse with the lowest price in order to make a maximum gain.

I won't bet on this one, but if I had to choose one to lay - it would be Little Leo to lose the race, but once again I wouldn't risk it (hypothetically risking against odds of 4 will yield 1300 EUR approx - he is 4 instead of 5 now at the time of writing).

Second bet:

This one is traded extremely poorly in the market, TVG shows odds are rising, he's doing really bad. Race about to start in 1 minute or so if you wish to watch it as well.

Good Luck! (for 27 EUR)

This is my first bet from the last race in Wolverhampton today:

Uh Oh Chongo was the trailer in this race, with poor odds that improved towards the beginning of the race, whilst Ghost Buy was going in the other direction - the bookmakers had odds on Ghost Buy changing from 26.00 to 34.00, usually I would stay away from "low" odds like these and only risk it with 67-81+ but given the fact it's a boxing day in the UK today so all the jockeys are much more motivated to win this one, and given the fact many favorites won races today in the UK (what exemplifies the fact the good horses have a much better head start) - I allowed myself to lay the least riskier option here.

Winnings: 81 EUR (before Orbit's 3% commission) or 78.57 EUR net profit (after the 3% commission).

A while ago I started a topic that explains how this strategy works - you can read it here:

I am now going to document my horse racing bets here, all bets will be posted here, not going to skip on any placed bets, this thread will have 100% full transparency, and I'm starting this documentation from the very scratch.

Betting Agent: BetInAsia.com
Betting Site / Platform: Orbit Exchange (Powered by BetFair)
Deposited Today (26-12-2018): 1.215 BTC
Balance received from BetInAsia for the BTC Deposit: 4,008 EUR
Main Races to bet on: Mainly Australia, might be a few UK and US ones, but the majority of them will be from Australia (& NZ).

How do I place bets?

I typically choose the horse to go against (to bet that the horse won't win the race) based on factors of age, how much the owners invest on that horse, the jockey who rides, however the majority of the decision is based on market movement and how the market sees that horse, how the pricing fluctuates etc.

GOOD LUCK !!!
