Having a side business is your way to support your financial stability for the better. Basically, when you have only one source of income, you are one step away from poverty where you cannot better support your financial stability.

Let's say you have an income of $400/month as your main salary, while you have to spend $300 on daily needs and another $100 on lifestyle. So in conclusion you are just working to survive without being able to produce anything for you in the future. So having more than one source of income will support your financial stability better.
I personally highly recommend that we have a side business or business to support our main income. As you said, sometimes relying solely on main income will make it more difficult to manage our finances, especially when we have to incur unexpected expenses, so things like that will drain our source of income.
Having a side business won't make our time disturbed, moreover, now is the era where things are done via the internet, we can use it to do what we want to do.

Side job is good as long as you have still time to do your responsibilities and other things.
It is a side job and you are in charge so you will definitely be able to create the time for other engagements unlike working under someone who dictates your time. I will choose multiple side jobs over working a job or business provided the side job is profitable. I will even agree to have a reduction in pay if I already work a job so that I could have time to run my business or do my side Hustle. For future sake, I think the side hustle or business you do for yourself is more important than the Job you are working for someone else.

Side jobs have their own boss, who is your client, but you can manage your time and choose when you are available your are still working for someone else. Also, there are specific side jobs, such as remote jobs, that require you to render for 4 hours at a specific time, but it is still considered part time. However, side jobs are not guaranteed work when compared to having a job because, first, if it is project-based, it will be gone once it is completed, and second, you can be fired or not hired anymore because there are no contracts of service on it, which means there is no assurance, unlike an 8-5 job where you have a contract. A side hustle is just an addition to our earnings, but it is not guaranteed.

To make a living, we must work. In uncertain days like now facing the global economic downturn, a stable job with high income becomes a scarcity. A side job or business seems like more necessary than ever, which can minimize the risks of losing your current job, ending up pennyless. However, a side job/business also takes time and efforts and can never be attained whenever we need it. What did you do or will you do in order to ensure your finanical stability despite all unfavorable circumstances ?
In this case, investment is then suitable. Because what you need is to buy and hold, unlike in business where it needs time for you to manage. But if we know the law of leverage, running a business is not a problem even if you have a stable as it won't beat your time either. Having multiple sources of income is gonna be a great decision when we wanted to improve our finances but of course, we have to work hard and manage our time properly otherwise, we only just fail. And sometimes we sacrifice our time for our family.

since the pandemic hit a few years ago, I see that there is no job that can really be called stable, all lines of business are in flux, and those who survive are those who have financial independence.

However, a side job/business also takes time and efforts and can never be attained whenever we need it. What did you do or will you do in order to ensure your finanical stability despite all unfavorable circumstances ?

at the moment I am not tied to a job in a private company so I can do 4 side jobs that can earn me a few dollars per month. I continue to explore my potential and continue to consult with my partner and thankfully he also supports me so that I can focus on my obligations and responsibilities as well as my partner. as long as you are alive, work hard and multiply savings because no one knows what will happen next to this earth.

At first it was definitely not easy to divide the time in the main job and side job,
but with time I think we'll find the right formula to do both so nothing gets overlooked,
everything needs a process so here we need to have patience.
24 hours is enough time to share in life, whether it's in doing work, or in worship and resting. If you have two different jobs in your life, it means you should be grateful and should be able to share your time for this because in this world it is very rare for a company to order its employees to work 24 hours a day.

Even though the company is always open 24 hours, the company will definitely implement an employee turnover system when the time comes or at least once every 8 hours. So nothing is difficult as long as you can manage it as best you can because it is work for yourself.

To get to somewhat a comfortable financial condition, you need to be able to have upto 3 sources of income according to what you said in Op.
For you to be able to get more than one job, you need to have in demand skills that will enable you to multi-job.
First you have to work on yourself to improve your skills and even when  you don't have a steady job yet, money gotten from wearing signatures in this forum should be able to sustain one and help the person acquire some skills that will make the person multi-employable.

A side job actually makes life comfortable. A side job is like a two-factor-authentication. A side job protects you from raining days. It gives you confidence and hope that the next meal is assured in this inflation driven economy.
I can go on and on about the benefits of a side job, but I will stop here for now. A job is a sure way to financial stability, but it is dependent on how financially prudent you are.

indeed! there are so many benefits of having a side job. you don't have to worry if worst case scenario, you will be out of your main job. at least, you have something as a fall back and make sure you can still eat a decent meal no matter what. this is the trend nowadays, if you can get more side jobs, why not? in these challenging times, you need to be practical with things to survive. also, always think that you can't rely from others in times of crisis.
Side job is good as long as you have still time to do your responsibilities and other things. I'm a freelancer and I considered it as my side job because I have time freedom on what time should I work. What only matters is I should finish the work in the given time. Side job also helps me to be financially independent wherein I am no longer experiencing short in terms of financially. I have also now spare money that I can use in gambling and also in investing. If you have already a main job, I suggest you find a side job that you like where you cannot be stressed and feel excited when doing the job.

A side job/business increases monthly incomes, which means improving our financial stability. We all agree that a side job/business is a good way to improve it, but never lose focus on our main job. As long as the side job/business won't bother our main jobs, it is a nice idea to have some side jobs/businesses.

I wonder why there's no one mention signature campaign while every users who make a reply wear a paid signature Cheesy
Since OP didn't specify it for online jobs or forum jobs only, people try to answer with a general aspect.
I can understand if they don't mention the signature campaign because they don't want the discussion will focus on the signature campaign job only.  Grin

Having said that, in countries where labor is abused and people work almost throughout the day, a physical side job or second job might be difficult to do, you would prolly not have the time to combine jobs, but if it is in countries where you work per hour and you're paid something worthwhile, then you can consider doing multiple jobs. In my country, most of our side hustles have to be done online because your main job drains everything out of you and literally takes up all of the day, thus if you must seek an alternative income, it has to be online.

It is only exhausting at first but you can get along with it later on. I do have a main job right now which is exhausting to the point that you'll arrive at your house and you need to sleep a couple of hours then wake up to eat but when I saw that my salary is not enough (I want to shift of work or career but I can't since it is too risky and I have a family to feed) I started to find a side hustle on which at first I thought I cant make it but again with determination you can get through to it and used to it later on. Though I need to sacrifice my rest and sleep it is okay as long as I've given the needs of my family

What Coyster said makes sense, in low-wage countries, they work almost all day in the same place and hardly have time to find another job, even if it's an online job. I used to work from 16 to 18 hours daily at the company, it can be said that no matter how familiar you are with the job, no matter how hard you try, you can't have the time and energy to do other things.
Working a lot without caring about your health is also not a good thing because without health, you cannot maintain a long-term job. You should not work too hard.

During the current situation that we have where the inflation crisis is getting worse, a single job would never be enough. I can personally say that having a side hustle and business can really improve our financial stability. We will be able to sustain not just our daily necessities but we can also save for the future in case the crisis would go beyond our expectations. Saving and investing is a must nowadays since we still don't know what tomorrow may bring so we better be always prepared and work as hard as we can.

What is important is that we must try to earn income and not give up with circumstances. Everyone has it and they have tried just like us and it's all we can do to survive. And if we can get additional income, it will definitely help our finances and be able to survive while preparing plans for our future life. And that's why we really should be able to find a side job that can help us to earn extra income for our lives.

of course a side job / business can provide financial stability, but behind that all must be balanced in the division of time so that both of them can run together here our partners are required to help the business that we develop so that the main work is not neglected

Keep grinding. That is what I will do. There's really no choice but to do that while we still can. Get a company job and if you can save some money then invest or create a business that would not bore you, something you really love. Food, services, whatever makes you feel happy.
It's when you will do it that matters, you must have the guys to start with a spark before you build a big fire.
Obviously, it will improve your financial stability and maybe more. That's if you can keep up with sudden economic breakdowns because we all know how many stores closed down when the pandemic came.

I guess you just have to look for ways to somehow make your financial life stable. You weigh things properly. Even having a full-time job will have to be reconsidered these days when regular salaries are not catching up with the fast rise in the prices of goods and services, and of the weakening purchasing power of money. We'll have to widen our financial horizon and choose which is really better. Sometimes, quitting your regular job to focus on your side job more could actually bring you closer to financial stability, and probably overall well-being.

Underestimate- nothing
Through side occupations, it is extremely easy to achieve true financial stability. When it comes to business, it comes with its own risk, and starting a business involves a lot of principles. The good thing about the two is that you don't run out of money, no matter how little is better than doing nothing. However, if it's a side job it is actually good for upkeep, the most important thing is that you need money to feed.
