Hello there,

What do you think about the altcoin season in summer and autumn?

There are a lot of factors telling us that BTC will grow much higher according to the fresh news:

Amazon,
Google,
Facebook
Tesla.

And a lot of other positive news for crypto.

Nevertheless this market is so speculative and unpredictable!

maybe you could give me your piece of advice and share your opinion about a situation on the market?

Cryptocurrency marketcap is still so small if you compare it to market stock, which is make it so volatile and so easy to be affected by good news and bad news. I do think the best news currently is the acceptance of cryptocurrency and also the use of blockchain in enterprise. Its just make the real use and value to the cryptocurrency and also big player starting to investing in cryptocurrency that i think it was a sign that crypto will be big in future.

This is not altseason, this is crypto season and there is a difference between those. What is the difference? When the latest bull run started, bitcoin was around 5k but reached 10k quickly, after that we had a whole run towards 64k right? Well, ethereum for example (can put any altcoin in there instead) ended up working towards 1500 or so from 150 dollars level at the same time, even reached 2-2.5k levels at the peak of 64k, then bitcoin stopped, bitcoin price started to even drop, but ethereum went as high as 4k after that. THAT is altseason, because it means that bitcoin is not the cause of the increase and alts are doing it all by themselves.

If you end up with higher and higher bitcoin, then it is not "alt" season because bitcoin is increasing as well, that makes it a whole crypto bull run. The moment bitcoin stops going up but others keep on going up, that will be alt season.

Specifically, I think what if you add Coinmarketcap as the first reference to help you analyze about the coin.
I think, the platform you mentioned is good, but too general for coin related news.
There is one more website for taking coin references, namely coinecko whose service is also almost the same as coinmarketcap, so now there are two websites that can be used by everyone in terms of taking references about any coin.
Yes mate. You are right.
Coingecko is also good and pretty much the same as Coinmarketcap. But I see that your writing on Coingecko has some errors. You wrote (coinnecko), the correct one is (Coingecko). But that's not a problem for me.
Both are great when it comes to coin information.

Sorry to say about the market situation for altcoins doesn't seems to be good right now, because it was only for those with strong community support. For those who've been out of fund by developers and real owners, everything went out to nothing but shitcoins despite of several fluctuations on both btc and eth. My altcoins price has beens stucked up and didn't grow any further.

As we know the altcoin season is depends on the movement of BTC currently Bitcoin looks in bullish mode but it's not mean that this is a start of altcoin season maybe this is a trap, we must be very careful if BTC could keep its current momentum for couple of weeks then we may expect something positive for quality altcoins.

Most of the altcoins follow Bitcoin rally only and this time there are rumors about major companies might accept btc and some other coins as mode of payment which has sparked the prices also. But most probably many memecoins or coins which have no potential growth and development would not surge this much under any influence also. But if we say some top altcoins like eth,SOL have capacity to rise even further but you must be careful and make your move wisely.

I think it is too early to make an assumption that another altcoin season is occuring. There maybe a lot of good things happening with bitcoin right now, some of it might just be a very temporary increase just like what happened when the news about Amazon considering regulating bitcoin, it did made a huge impact to its price where it went up once again but after just a few days, we're down to its usual price. We all know how much altcoin is affected to bitcoin's price and situation so as long it hasn't recovered yet, altcoins will still stay down likewise.

Bitcoin Dominance is at 49% now. There is heavy resistance between 49-51% and dominance needs to stay below it for altcoins to rally. The altcoin market may recover once BTC reaches a more stable range again. For now, BTC is too volatile. In any case, it's good to see one of the main altcoins stabilized at higher levels, even if it's just a consolidation. However, in the long run, the Bitcoin price has a lot of potential.

when the bitcoin market does not stabilize it will not be good for altcoins. bitcoin is making an upward movement but also slowly decreasing. Such situations occur several times in today's market. even after a pretty bad dump this year. bitcoin still does.
bitcoin dominance if it has reached stability in the market then it is the best momentum for altcoins. some potential altcoins may continue to follow bitcoin's movement. but some who make updates can get a better rally.

I am still looking forward to the upcoming positive news that can impact and help it to rise, maybe when bitcoin breaks through resistance more people will believe and return to the market. But anyway, we have made a profit if we bought and held the coins that have fallen in price and held them.

Today Bitcoin touched back the price of USD41K, but it looks like this is still a false break out. However, from this BTC increase, altcoins are still showing their strength, most of the altcoins on exchanges such as Binance experienced a pretty sweet increase. Hopefully there will be a further boost of positive sentiment to increase altcoin prices. BTW, there is news that India will adopt the ETH smart contract for diploma certificates. It is quite interesting to be applied in other countries, which may be the beginning of positive sentiment that will emerge next.

Regrettably, I think the summer has fallen for the whole market,
We are moving to the fall. I can't tell if a bull run is likely to return but if bitcoin can break through above $41k, I think then we will really enter altcoin season once again. Bulls are staking at $41k, damn, need a few more catalysts to break its horns. Lol

It may or may not, but I still think about the possibility of altcoin recovery in the near term. The current signs are showing the preparation for something, I think it will be seen in the near future, the NFT game is creating a fever and is also one of the influencing factors to let people return to the market.

Alt coin recovery sounds like you think that the whole spectrum of alt coins will bounce back, but that thought neglects the fact that most of the alt coins are simply doomed because they are not worth anything as they don't offer anything special to their users. They are just empty shells created to once be used for pump and dump and that's it.
So what ?
You can lose your trust in those altcoins, me too. But what we're talking about here is a market rally, and the ongoing signs allow us to believe in it. And time will tell, this question, totally agree with you that not all altcoins create value, and they are just completely pumped. And those projects are not all altcoins, just bad cases, what we are aiming for are transparent projects that are serious and easy to operate and develop.

Yes and those projects represent the vast majority of all projects out there. Projects with real intentions and talent and money backing their mission are rare. It feels like they are often drowning in the ocean of shit coins, but that's the way it is. The only thing you can do is due diligence and even then you can't be sure to make the right choices.

It doesn’t matter. Time in the market is better than timing the market.
Lol, market entry and time in the market are equally important. When you have a good entry point, you will save time. And you will achieve the desired profit in less time.

for now developments in the market are very positive. I see there is a new direction that the market price is going up, I think maybe in the next few days we will see another bull market
Everytime positive news come in the market, bitcoin seen to have a price increase but when amazon clears the issue, bitcoin price suddenly decline. But considering there are other good factors that will make bitcoin price surges, then we can expect that altcoins too will also follow the path of bitcoin.

However, not all altcoins will definitely increase their value because the worthless ones will stay undervalued. So even if alts season will happen in the following months, there's no guarantee that all of them will eventually increase.

Disregard tesla because that is not part of the factors as cryptonians already lose their trust and support to Elon musk .

Amazon is really the one that this market is eying now , even the recent news about Amazon's considering bitcoin to be accepted really earn pump as we now cross 40,000 again from below 30,000 last week.
so if this is the main factor then how much google and facebook added?

only inexperienced people trust tweets from big influencers. only self-analysis can make us successful from the arrival of the altcoin season and maximize profit
Yes, trusting someone's tweets is a very silly thing, because the person who tweets also has his own purpose for that, and he may write the wrong tweet in order to carry out his mission for something.

People have been asking this question back from earlier this year and during the last Bitcoin rally to $60K+, we also witness many Alts doing their new ATHs, so when exactly will the Alts have a separate season? Now the market is down because most people dump Bitcoin due to lots of negativity from people like Elon musk and country like China with what they said about Bitcoin and Alts followed. Forme, I would rather just have a good Bitcoin rally and I know Alts would follow suit.

Hi.

Altcoins have criteria for us to invest in, first we must be able to see market opportunities, secondly the level of trend towards the altcoin itself, thirdly the right analysis. These criteria are important for us to understand in investing in altcoins both summer and winter.

While BTC is the top 1 coin in the market cap for now, they are very likely to be very profitable under any circumstances, but BTC is not the right opportunity to invest for beginners, given the very expensive purchase price in the market.

The current weakness of altcoins is that market conditions are increasingly unstable, market speculation cannot be predicted by people, so altcoins are increasingly not providing great opportunities for people who want to invest. It would be nice for altcoins to be able to avoid the current unstable market conditions.

Current news and developments in the market are very positive. There are new directions that are spreading and will explode in the future. Personally, I think maybe around September we will see the bull market again.
So far, there is no reason to believe that the altcoin season has begun or may soon begin on the cryptocurrency market. Yesterday's good price growth should most likely be regarded as a short-term surge. It seems that the reason for this was the spread of information that Amazon will soon accept payments in bitcoins, which it recently denied. Therefore, today we are witnessing a decrease in the increased prices again.
Plus, the second half of summer has never been a good time to run bulls. I think that for this we need to wait for autumn.
maybe I think it's starting to happen, the big coins have also started to have growth. I think it is very likely that in the coming days we will see BTC surpass the $45000 mark, moreover the current situation shows that people are also excited about the market. However, still need to prepare for other bad scenarios, I also have a feeling that BTC will be able to test $30k.
