I don't think so, most of these ICOs are not reliable. I have also invested in a ICO, but it has not worked well for me. After listing on the exchanges, ICO price has gone down sharply.
This is the most disadvantages after the ico has been listed in an exchanges usually price dumped. Some ico are legit and well handled because of the team's behind the project is good and they develop their prject. Some we can say not good because after the ico one they collect the money nothing had happened. So for me better we thoroughly check the ico before we invest in for us in the end we can gain good income.

After having a good run on ICO from November through to January the intial profiteering has totally vanished. It seems most ICO launching now will dump below the price during the sale and you may actually get better value waiting for the unlocking after the TGE. Perhaps when the market returns to a Bull this will return to a good investment option.
ICO is the same market instrument as the shares of large companies, when you choose a company for investment, you evaluate it as well as ICO, and now is the time to invest in ICO, many projects deserve close attention, and we must remember that money should make money and not hang dead.
Its not a good time to invest because the market is still unstable and ther are numerous of ICO that keep on appearing everyday, that make the investors diversify their investment, this situation can make the price hard to go up, you need to wait a moment, when the market recover, the chances of the price to go up is bigger
Don't think it's a good time for ICO. Many recent ICOs dropped below the offer prices once getting listed. It's mostly due to the generally bearing mood. I'd wait till the next alt season.
ICO investment is still profitable if your investing in Right project . Before investing do your own research don't go with Rating sites most of them (may be all) Scams . they receive payment and giving good rating . See the Tokenpay tweet about icobench . So Dont follow any sites do your research , team , solution provided by ICO.
Investing in ico is very risky, you won't know what will happen if it will succeed but if you really find a good one it will definitely give you a reasonable profit. Do some researching first before investing in an ico, if it's promising, analyze it first, and if it's too good to be true or unrealistic better avoid them. Luck and experience is needed in looking for a good ico.

Depending on the project and the market reception of the coin. If i were you, choose carefully because there are too many scam ICOs out there and if you invested on the one scam ICOs you wasted your money.and also, do not invest on ICOs that gives high rewards on bounty participants because they will just dump the coin immediately after release on the market causing the price drop and losing you investment.
If you want to invest in ICO just choose the best project and invest only the minimum required investment and dont be too greedy even the project is very realistic. And i recommend to look at the manager who are promoting the ICO to have big chances that ICO would be successful and your investment would gives great profit at the time was coin listed in the exchange.

i think this is a normal situation when we see a good ico drop drastically when the project is listed on the exchanges, big whales usually dont want to hold for long term profit, they only want to have profit in short term, so they will sell as soon as the token is listed on the market because no matter what the price is, they alreay have profit. We have no choice but accept it because investing ICO is that we have accepted the risks to loose money but huge profit if success. 
Generally if it's a good project it always makes sense to invest. Especially if you believe in it. However right now the market is heavily saturated by new project coming up every other week and therefore I think it's a terrible time to invest in ICOs.
There is a new project being built every week. That is why there is less people wanting to deposit coins into a real project.

Investing to a coin is a good time right now. The market has been roller coaster so it's definitely going to give good profit for someone that is looking for a good profit. Too many ICO's to choice why just buy them when they are listed on exchanges?
The problem is not investing right now or nex few months, the problem is which ICO you're going to invest in. IMO it's always good time to invest in ICO project but you must be able to find out good project to invest in. The time when you invest will not affect to ICO project if it's a really good project. But as I can see Q4 is the best time to invest in ICO project cause almost ICO project in Q4 are very successful.
No, not all of them are profitable. Usually 1-3 good projects for a month happens, and they are able to bring a good profit (even in such an unstable and falling market, as recently)

How long have you been holding the tokens? You may see profits 6-12 months after listing from exchanges. Also considering the whole crypto market these past few months doesn't perform well so better to observe it first.
