Generally the answer is yes but it also depends on the individual. Money certainly is a factor to considering someone rich. It is not always the case. If you are talking about other aspects of life then the answer is now. There are people who consider themselves rich because of their loving family. To others, having the most expensive car, biggest house, yachts etc... is being rich. In most communities having money is a sign of being rich.
I think money is just a factor, but how you manage it is important and that is what makes you rich.
To me the answer is No. Money alone doesn't make an individual rich. A lot of people go to work everyday, working for money and making more money, but fail to become richer. Ironically, many only grow deeper in debt.we have all heard stories of lottery winners who are instantly poor again. Also there are cases of real estate going into foreclosure instead of making homeowners richer. We all know of persons who have lost money investing in the stock market. Ofcourse, money could make us rich because it is the basis of wealth in the society. We are all investing and working so hard because we would want to gain a good profit. We are all aiming to have money because it is what we all need. Our life would be easier if we'll have lots of it practically speaking.
What are you trying say? Obviously one can become richer by having more money only. I agree that information and knowledge is also very important but ultimately these will be employed to make some money that will make you rich. So you cannot deny the fact that money makes you rich. The cases of people losing money you mentioned belong to the evil of greed. Obviously earning money through lotteries will not make you rich for your whole life but information and knowledge will.

certainly money alone without any effort, skill and tenacity will not make us rich. we can become rich when we want to work hard and not easily despair. the main capital to be successful in my opinion is not money but skill, patience and perseverance. and investing in cryptocurrency is in dire need of patience.
Financially, money is one symbol of wealth, the more money the more wealthy a person becomes. The size of the rich is different, depending on who judges it. Yes of course it is money as a basis for an individuals wealth. Aside from having a good and healthy life money is the most common basis to be called as rich man or rich kid. Well it does not money make you happy all the time yet money could make you a lot of reason that could make you happy and do whatever as it pleases you in exchange with money but then again not all happiness could be bought by money.

Of course we can be rich financially. There are many kinds of rich of course rich in financial matter there are also rich in health matters and rich emotionally or socially. For me I will not aiming to become very rich , just to have financial freedom we can buy what we want and we do not have debts.
