Btc price matters a lot to us. It's one of the major factor why we choose to join this community. As we all know,  btc is now a trend and I could say that it helps us to earn profit. If the btc price increases and so does our money too.
Especially when the price is going up, that would really make us happy with our investment and that would mean as a success for the entire market.
Bitcoin started with a price, it's even less than a dollar and now we have reach $20,000 already as our all time high, that means a lot to us.

In my own personal opinion, bitcoin's price really matters because this is one of the reason why bitcoin becomes more popular and more people are interested to use and invest in bitcoin. Another reason why do really bitcoin price matter is because if bitcoin's price increases also your money would increase too.

I think that the interesting bitcoin price thing is difficult for forecasting, we all know that there was no country officially using bitcoin as the official method of payment, undoubtedly this makes everyone insecure, so prices can grow up and down.

I don't think that it's very important if you think long term. In term of technology it's not important at all. What is important is to not forget that bitcoin has a technology which is less interesting than other cryptos so maybe bitcoin won't stay the king

For true devotees of Bitcoin, the price of the digital currency is almost irrelevant. They believe in its inherent value or, more frequently, cannot see any value at all in the alternative of government issued fiat currency. Price is therefore not a concern. At the other end of the spectrum, for those that harbor what appears to be an irrational hatred of Bitcoin and anything to do with it, the exchange rate also matters little. They were screaming that it was all worthless when the price was at over $1000, and somehow convince themselves that an exchange rate of over 200 times what it was before that bubble proves their point. For the vast majority of people somewhere in the middle, however, the price of the currency in Dollar, Euro, Yuan or whatever terms is important.

yes it does! Don't be so hypocrite. We all know that the major reason why we are here is because of the value that we may get from bitcoin. It matters because as a business owner or investor are you gonna invest your money in a business with a lower value? Of course not! It is not about friendly things or being hospitality it is about the business on how it may grow. So yes, Bitcoin's price really matters.

Yes it does.

The only reason there's so much attention today is because of
the high figures people are being exposed to, however, very little
value is realized.

The price will become even more important as more people
understand the value of Bitcoin.

The price of Bitcoin matter without any doubt, not only for the traders online that concern about the price every day usually, but also for the Bitcoin's holders and the users generally.
What makes bitcoin more popular now is because of the increasing value in terms of price, and that really matters to all of us
because we cannot consider bitcoin as a precious currency or investment if without a price.
Most if not all of us are hoping that the price will continue to skyrocket so we will be enjoying our future with our investment.

Oviously it matters.Different bitcoin has different price. If the price of bitcoin is low then its the great chance for investment. If the price is high its time to sell. So for surely it matters a lot.
I must say that the only thing which matter the most for the investors and buyers of bitcoin is the market price of bitcoin. For the buyers, the market price matters in a way that they want to buy bitcoins at low price to have more number of bitcoins. While the owners of bitcoins want the market value to rise high as they really want to have more profit to have a comfortable life.

It is the least important number for me.
What is the price? Really its a guess at value, and the price at an exchange reflects an aggregate of peoples perception of value. When we were rallying up to $1000 there was a great deal of speculation that we were about to go way up. But those guesses were wrong. Now we have fallen to a place that, for the moment, seems to support a valuation of $240. That is much more in line with the current use and scale of bitcoin. So if price is a guess, although our best one, why not look at something that is a fact instead?

Far more predictive numbers include:
1. number of venders that accept BTC
2. amount of capitol investment
3. number of markets exploiting BTC potential (online retail, remittance, etc.)
4. number of people and institutions using BTC

I agree with your points but price is a very easy way to get at your more predictive numbers.  I think it matters quite a bit for miners and for conveying that bitcoin is a serious technology.

I don't understand how you think the price matters to show it is a serious technology, would you please explain so I can understand? Yes I agree it matters to miners but anyone else who has not invested more than they can afford to lose it should not really matter as long as the tech is still going no matter the price I will be here for as long as the blockchain and community is here.
It's matter when you are involve with the crypto but if you are not aware about the bitcoin and you're not in the situation that the price must pump every month or year to make our profit big. As a crypto holder, the bitcoin rice matter all the time.

It really matters upon buying or selling bitcoin, it will help me to decide and provide me with the best decision that i need to do.
yes price is matter and also value and price are different and you are confusing yourself with that words. Even if bitcoin cant be traded as fiat, it will still has its own value as a virtual currency  . Everything will stays the same for bitcoin and nothing will change even if no one keep bitcoin anymore as long as the network is alive.and also price also matters when to convert in USD. but it matters in every type in profit and loss.and also people are doing trading because of profit.

Bitcoin prices are very problematic for those who sell when the price is cheap and for those who do not have bitcoin, but bitcoin prices are great for those who have bitcoin.

That is a lesson learned problem for the people who are now holding bitcoin, they are thinking that if they sold their bitcoin easily, they will be regretting that in the end because it will be having more pumps in the future, they are paranoid to what might happen. In the end they just enjoy the price pumps that is happening and worry when the price goes down, it really matters.

I’d say it really matters. It matters a lot. As of the moment
it is a global trend and everyone is getting to know more of it.
It is spreading rapidly and at a unprecedented scale. The price
is rising and this certain attribute is now its most valued aspect.
It is money after all plain and simple. Bitcoin is now
contemporary robust.
