No i do not think that cash will be extinct just because of the fact that we are investing in bitcoin does not mean that cash will die we cannot kill cash just because we think that crypto currency is the future maybe it will die in a couple of years.

society is definitely heading in that direction. You get strange looks if you pay for anything in cash nowadays especially where I live in England although not all parts of England have the same levels of suspicion towards cash transactions but it is definitely noticeable were I live currency and getting worse might I add

Sweden is contemplating to stop using cash by 2023, does this mean cash might be extinct if other countries follow suit?

https://www.weforum.org/agenda/2017/10/sweden-could-stop-using-cash-by-2023?utm_content=buffer40bef&utm_medium=social&utm_source=twitter.com&utm_campaign=buffer
Transition from cash to use non-cash payments is possible only in a high-tech society with high incomes. Sweden, as generally meeting these criteria, can try to give up cash. and we'll see how it works out. I personally doubt this possibility. In my country, I think it would be impossible, because not everyone is ready to go psychologically to the use of non-cash settlements and have the opportunity and the desire for this.
not only psychological people are not ready for digital currency and non-cash settlement. The fact is that the ease of shopping and other financial calculations is a fundamental factor for most people. First of all, think about old people and children.

Only highly developed states with a high level of income of the population can experiment in the transition to an exclusively non-cash form of settlements. Most states are not the same to this and will not be ready for such a revolutionary transition for a very long time. Cash is still needed in many cases, and a non-cash form of payment is not always appropriate. Yes, and individual categories and a group of people will not want to switch to such a technically complicated form of calculation, sometimes it's easier to pull out a bill and pay off than using a non-cash.

In some countries,  its going to take a long while before other countries join. For now it wont go into extinction, because some countries still depends on it to purchase things they need, like airtime, light, phone and internet. Its going to be a very long time before this happens.

Although the use of bitcoin is very dominant, but I sure will never be able to replace cash, this is because cash transactions are very fast and workable without the need of internet so cash will never extinct.

The cryptocurrency and fiat should co-exist peacefully. You can go on working at the main job and invest fiat in crypto to get even more profits from it.

No cash will never be extinct because there are always some country's that are poor and don't have internet so they need a form of payment method to buy their stuff. So that is why cash will never go extinct.
I have not seen any country that poor till now that don’t have any internet, infect some countries are now that developed that they even don’t need any electricity to carry internet, as they have introduced the solar system to generate electricity so they want to use bitcoin by hook and by crook, no load shedding can stop them from using bitcoin, so in this situation I can say yes soon we will see only bitcoin as currency on the earth.

Probably yes, it will cease to exist. But everything in its time, for now, that can do that, coexist with the heights and all the movement of the blockchain.

Cash will always exist cause people will need physical currency to transact or pay their bills and also digital currency can only be used if you have internet or a device that can connect to the internet were some countries doesn't have access to the internet or does not have those devices.

I dont think paper money or physical money will be gone totally. There are countries that are not yet too developed to embrace this idea of extinction od physical money. Besides cash is still in use widely in our daily transactions and there are transactions that are payable only with cash.

We are living in the technological era and everyday we are stepping up to innovations and advanced idea of making life much easier. This cannot be possible since we have technologies everywhere and that's what cryptocurrencies can actually be accessed. But also there's many hackers through the internet that can hack your wallet accounts online. This first needs to be secured before accepting bitcoin as the new currency in the country or to the world.

Transition from cash paper money to a non-cash form of settlements is possible only in a technologically highly developed society with a high level of income. If Sweden believes that by 2023 they will be ready for this, let them try. However, I do not think that everything will turn out right away. I think that in this country there will be problems with such a transition. In any society there will be groups of people who will not want to get rid of cash, which is very convenient to use in some cases. However, this will be a good experience in this respect for other countries.

Sweden is one of the countries that always embraces innovation and saving the planet. It's a good article to read. Eventually in the future, societies and government will have no choice but to get with what innovative time takes the world into.

"Cash" will never become extinct, as it exists in so many forms. You can say that there is a chance that physical cash will become extinct, as mobile and online payment options are getting more popular now.

Of course, until now, some countries around the world are still living in poverty and backward, they are not qualified to learn more about technology, they can only work and use something that is simple, cash is one of the simplest things, can not remove cash in their world. And with normal and developed countries, although the technology is very modern but people are still very attached to cash, cash still useful and certain advantages, want it extinct is a difficult thing to happen, the government may also not want this to happen, too much trouble when the cash disappear

How many people are ignorant that lawful money was the first non fiat currency law for money and legal tender are not the same thing but they're on the same piece of paper the other side of a dollar bill shows you lawful currency or legal tender each side is a different contract how you sign your payroll check determines whether you incurred income tax or not

If i would choose I prefer to use cash whenever possible and the reason for that is very simple, I hate using credit cards since you are feeing the system that we are trying to avoid with bitcoin, if you take on debt the bank becomes richer with your debt and misery and that is something that I want to avoid at all costs, so even if cash can be inconvenient at times I still use cash.that my opinion
