Are there any CleanWaterCoin.org WATER wallet builds or downloads after 1.7.0.1?

I'm stuck at 11942 approx blocks remaining and still have 16K of unconfirmed coins which were previously confirmed.

1.7.0.1 is the latest wallet, but we recommend backing up your wallet.dat and deleting everything -- and then firing back up the wallet again. Have you tried that?

Does anybody knows if the coins mined on cwc.dedicated will be released someday? I have coins there but cannot withdraw.

Thanks for any clear-ups.

I would recommend hitting up binaryclock on ##dedicatedpool in IRC to see if he plans on it. I would try, but I got banned from their channel for calling out Kassado for stealing 2BTC from us Wink

Update: The crons and stats on the official pool (http://pool.cleanwatercoin.org) are back up and running again. There was about ~4m WATER that finally got paid out today, so thank you to those who were patient with us as we cleaned that thing up. More updates to come!

A HUGE thank you to Costas (Mindfox) who has been keeping a close eye and responding whenever possible on here while I was away at a family reunion for the past week (with horrible/little service). I am excited to be back and am pleased with the progress that has been made while I was away. So thank you again Costas! Grin

Costas and I will be catching up tomorrow, and after that I will come back on here to post a more detailed report of where we are, where we are going, and how long it will take.

Thanks again for your patience and continued support!

New wallet is working great. staking.... no problem.

Question: Where can I mine right now?  not very many pools, looks like no blocks found on the official in a while please advise.... I have hashes to burn  Smiley

The best place to mine would be at the official pool: http://pool.cleanwatercoin.org/

Blocks are being found regularly, the stats/crons are just not all reporting properly as Mindfox has touched on some of his previous posts. You can check the block explorer here: http://explorer.cleanwatercoin.org/chain/Cleanwatercoin

...
Hope that helps

It all helps mindfox, much gratitudes.  It was getting to a point where dumping the price down to 1 satoshi to get out was almost on the table.

However, now I've been staking every couple of minutes like clockwork.  We've got a block explorer again.  We have new things on horizon.  Bittrex is fully up with WATER.  Things seem stable overall.

As long as our admin doesn't lose heart I'm still all-in.  In truth it is now one of the last two SCRYPT clones I've stuck with; that coupled with the history on WATER is really saying something in general about the resilience of everyone still around.

So, thank you again to all who contribute and stick around for all that is to come later.

My wallet was not syncing, it was stuck at some block. So I backed up my Wallet.dat file and then I deleted whole AppData\Roaming\cleanwatercoin\ folder. I have resynced the wallet again and following happened:

1) Wallet seems to be synced now
2) I see all transactions
3) Balance is 0!!!!! I think my coins are on some other fork, right?
Open the rpc console (Help->Debug and select RPC Console)
Type: checkwallet (it should show you what is missing)
Then type: repairwallet (it will show you the same, but it should recover them at the same time)

What happened is this:
Your wallet created PoS blocks from the transactions it had in the wrong chain (which is the reason you couldn't sync in the 1st place).
When you replaced your wallet.dat with a new one, you were not broadcasting false PoS blocks anymore, so it synced just fine.
When you replaced the wallet.dat, your wallet restored the info that you have transactions that are staking, but in reality in the real blockchain you had no transaction waiting to be confirmed. So, that's why you saw the 0 balance.
Checkwallet rechecks all transactions one-by-one and syncs the transactions that are kept in wallet.dat with the transactions from the blockchain and replaces the differences it might have.

Hope that helps

it helped for me.
thanks.

Any updates on these checkpoint errors? Sync'd 5 times, erroring...
Brian, I thought I explained in the irc channel.
The error you see is normal and it's good that you see it (it means that everything works as it should).
Your wallet has PoS blocks in it that are invalid.
So, it broadcasts those invalid PoS blocks to the net and the net reacts to it and treats it like a threat.
What you need to do is backup your wallet.dat file and remove everything (including the wallet.dat file).
After your wallet syncs completely, close your wallet application, replace the backed up wallet.dat file and re-open your wallet app.
Then just do the "checkwallet" and "repairwallet" if you see that you have coins missing.

I did that -- the 5 times.... It syncs up, and then has the checkpoint error back after a few hours.

This is good info that I wish I knew about before.  Posting it here helps because I didn't even know we had an IRC channel.  For those who don't know the IRC is:

Thank you, it works now. I didn't know it's so easy to fix. Smiley I see the balance and when I unlocked wallet, new POS blocks appeared and are being confirmed now. The old POS blocks which probably got created on other network are still seen in transactions but with questionmarks (unconfirmed).
