Actually, the article on Wikipedia says that "Ukraine eventually admitted that the disaster was probably caused by an errant missile fired by its armed forces. Ukraine ended up paying $15 million to surviving family members of 78 victims ($200,000 per victim)."

But it took a few years to make them pay. And in 2007 "Kiev Appeals Court has dismissed the victims' relatives suit against the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine, ruling that military of Ukraine bear no liability for the accident". How's that possible at all? Or is this only possible in Ukraine?

Regarding that crap you're whining about: ask for refund from Ukrainian government who did not close airspace over the war zone (and possibly shot down MH17), or from Malaysia Airlines which was flying shortcut to save few bucks on fuel, instead to think about lives of their passengers and take a detour.

The stupid Europeans will only understand when Russia ships all of its natural gas to China at $380 per K Cu M, while they will be forced to import LNG from Qatar at double that price.

Oh, but they can pay with US promises. It's a new kind of currency, that is here to replace dollar.
