The independence of these 2 regions (Lugansk and Donetsk) I think will be the best solution for the future of Ukraine. Without the sousaphone regions, the pro western side will surely win the elections in Ukraine, and the country will go towards NATO and UE.

Well.. that will give the far-right a near majority in the parliament. And this in turn, will gradually force the other Russophone regions, such as Kharkov, Odessa, Kherson, Kirovograd, Nikolayev, Zaporizhia, and Dnipropetrovsk to break away from the Kiev junta.

VIDEO. In Lugansk masked gunmen kidnapped a man and stole his car in broad daylight

A video appeared on the Youtube, which shows how in broad daylight armed men in masks drag a man out of his car, put him into theirs and take him away.

The author of the vide claims that this happened in Olkhovskiy area of the city.

The man is put on the ground and armed guys are getting into his car. The owner of the car is lifted, pressed against the wall and shots are fired into the air. Then the man is put into their car and taken away. His car is driven by the attackers.

The man taking the video is saying behind the camera that the man is accused that there were shots from his car. All this was happening in broad daylight in front of passers by, who cautiously passed the place.

Unconfirmed info:
People in National Guard uniforms shot at and then set on fire Oleg Carev's neighbour's house, seemingly mistaking it for the house of Oleg Carev.

Earlier I had heard that some 5-6 APCs were under the control of the rebels in Slavyansk. What happened to these vehicles? Are they still under the rebel control? If they are under the rebel control, then why the rebels are not being able to put up a good fight?

As far as I know, nothing happened to them and the Republic is still keeping them.
Also, from the interview of the military leader of the self-defence forces, given a couple of weeks ago, he said that their objective was to defend their land with minimum loss of life on both sides. He said they were not keen on a civil war, so any military activity they performed was done so as to minimise losses.
The APCs that they managed to capture were kept for defensive purposes.

Another shitty article from the BBC. No mention about the 600,000 Russian speakers, who were forced to flee Ukraine during the last 3 months.

Ukrainian speakers leave Donetsk amid pro-Russia surge

Why do you call the article shitty , it's just what the title says , it's about the Ukrainians fleeing part of what was Ukraine.
Also , I don't remember that number of 600 000 even been mentioned. Kind a hard to believe.

Can't you be a bit more neutral Smiley ?

They've already claimed that referendum is "illegal"/"illegitimate"/"provocative"/"wrong"/whatever bullshit, even before it was started. So, all these articles about referendum are pretty senseless because there is no sense of proving or searching for violations while proceeding an "illegal"/"illegitimate"/"provocative"/"wrong" referendum. Except propaganda purposes, of course. Cheesy
