CrossTalk: Poroshenko’s Dilemma

Published on May 22, 2015
The recent high-level meetings between Russian and American officials in Sochi created a media and diplomatic buzz. It appears Washington actually does want to talk to Moscow – and may even be willing to work together on a number of international issues again. Does that include Ukraine as well?

Most people in North America have tuned out of CNN because it spews government, military industrial complex, and big pharma propaganda & ads 24/7. Their ratings are so bad that Alex Jones' Infowars has more viewers than CNN, MSNBC, CBS News combined. The most popular Mainstream News in the US is Fox and Infowars surpasses it too. I'm not saying that Jones is the be all to end all but he has all of the above beat hands down.

Do not look at CNN as a trusted news source, do what you do, look at it for comedic relief.

And continuing with double-standards and hypocrisy. Remember that many of Russian politicians, activists and performers (like Iosif Kobzon) ended on the EU/American black list for expressing their support for the self-determination of the people of Crimea?

Now, Russia has its own black list, holding, among others, a German MP Mihael Fuchs. He became indignant with this, demanding explanations from Russia and saying that it's "wrong that Russia shows some politicians the door only because they express their opinion".  Roll Eyes From France, there is a French journalist Bernard-Anri Levi, who pushed flaming speeches on Maidan.

However, the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has not confirmed the existence of such black list, and the authenticity of it is questionable. Maybe it's just another backstabbing black PR from the Western mob.

Canada Represents a Reservoir of Support for Ukrainian Nazis
https://futuristrendcast.wordpress.com/2015/05/06/6039/

Not surprising at all. Canada is home to a huge ethnic Ukrainian population (esp.in the prairie regions of Alberta and Saskatchewan), with the vast majority of them originating from Western Ukrainian oblasts such as Ternopol and Lvov. They have always supported the neo-Nazis in Western Ukraine, ever since the second world war.

Neocon’s Blatant Speak of the US “Exceptional” Right of Aggression

Georgi Stankov:

Friedman’s Realpolitik outlines the professed American national and geopolitical interests in decades to come from a naked neocon position, as if humanity had all the linear time to see this heinous plans fully realized. In this sense, this man stands paradigmatically for the profound blindness of all agnostic, dark human beings that need to experience their Armageddon in the End Time as to learn their soul lessons. Please, observe that dark entities like Friedman can be very astute and impress other people. This makes them even more dangerous than amoral idiots like Obama. This is the type of cabal that has something to say and dare to say, more like the Cheney-type.

And here are the Friedman’s key points in this speech:

The primordial interest of the United States for centuries (WWI, WWII and the Cold War) has been to stop a coalition between Germany and Russia.
US is the only ally Ukraine (the Kiev regime) has.
General Ben Hodges, Chief of US army in Europe, not only officially announced that the US would train Ukrainian troops, but also awarded medals to foreign, in this case, Ukrainian soldiers which is against the US army protocol. He’s showing that the Ukrainian Army is “our” army.
US is positioning troops, armaments, artillery and other equipment in the Baltic, Poland, Romania and Bulgaria.
The US will deliver weapons to Ukraine.
In all of this the US acted in the context outside NATO because any NATO members state can veto any action.
US is preparing a “Cordon Sanitaire” around Russia. Russia knows it and believes the US wants to break the Russian Federation.

We are back to the “old game” (Cold War).
The United States controls all the oceans of the world and because of that we get to invade people and they don’t get to invade us. Maintaining control of the sea and space is the foundation of American power.
The best US policy is “divide et impera”, what Reagan did with Iran and Iraq – fund both sides so they will fight each other and not fight us. It is cynical and not moral, but it works.
The US cannot occupy Eurasia. We can support various contending powers so they concentrate on themselves with political, economic, and military support.
In extreme cases we can do what we have done in Vietnam, Iraq and Afghanistan –“spoiling attacks”. A spoiling attack is not intended to defeat the enemy, it is to throw them off balance like we did with al Qaeda in Afghanistan.
The US can not constantly intervene in Eurasia; it must selectively intervene.
The US has staged a series of colored revolutions throughout the Russian periphery. It was the US statement of intent to destroy Russia.
The purpose of “the invasion of Georgia” was to show how much an American guarantee is worth and it is message to the Ukrainians: Do you want to be American ally? So did the Georgians… Enjoy…
The question for the Russians will be whether they’ll be able to retain a buffer zone that is at least neutral in Ukraine or will the West penetrate so far in Ukraine as to be 500 kilometers from Moscow.
For Russia the status of the Ukraine is an existential threat.
It is not an accident that the US “final solution” is to create an  “Intermarium”  (“Between-seas”) area from the Black Sea to the Baltic Sea.
Germany is in very peculiar position and they have a very complex relationship with Russians.
The Germans themselves don’t know what to do and haven’t made up their mind.
For the US, the primordial fear is German capital and technology and Russian natural resources and manpower. This combination for centuries has scared the United States.
Whoever can tell me what the Germans will do, will tell me the next 20 years of the history.
The main problem of Germany is that it is enormously economically powerful and geopolitically very fragile and doesn’t know how to reconcile two.
“The German Question” is coming up again. That’s the next question we need to address, and we don’t know how to address it, we don’t know what they’re going to do.

Well, I don´t know if Washington is that interested anymore in this basket case that they created. They are very good at instigating chaos, fighting those that can´t defend themselves  and rendering military forces  they meddle with useless but that seems to be about it. They don´t seem to achieve any strategic or political gains from all this chaos. Unless it´s somehow in their favor to drive Russia, China and India together in cooperation.

Anyway; this is clearly a subject for psychoanalysts since it´s difficult for laymen to understand or rationalize the actions of psychopaths and homicidal maniacs.

Vladimir Katriuk was a member of the SS Waffen. He was involved in several massacres of innocent civilians (esp. in Belarus), and most of his crimes were well documented. But the Canadian government made sure that he was never punished for his actions. Another stark example of the double standards played by the west.

Definitely.

If Poroshenko declares the martial law, that will be the end of Ukraine as a sovereign nation. People will be rioting from Transacarpathia in the West to Kharkov in the East, and the entire cabinet might have to relocate to Lvov for proper functioning. Oblasts such as Kharkov and Odessa will merge with Novorussia, while the Hungarian areas of Transcarpathia and Romanian areas of Chernivtsi will breakaway and join Hungary and Romania respectively.

In a way, Ukraine is already finished as a sovereign state - it's fully controlled from Washington.

The latest edition does include a number of new features.

One of those is the extrajudicial detention and forced relocation of citizens of a "foreign country that threatens or undertakes aggression towards Ukraine." This might be any Russian since Russia is considered an "aggressor state" at an official level. Kiev believes it to be supporting anti-government fighters in eastern Ukraine, which Moscow vehemently denies.

Apart from the forced relocation of foreigners, martial law allows the authorities to confiscate private property, take full control of any media and ban any political parties and organizations that are deemed a threat. It will also be able to prohibit any and all rallies and mass gatherings.

And it reads especially "well" in conjunction with the following report:

Ukraine humanitarian crisis ‘one of the world’s worst’ – UN refugee agency
http://rt.com/news/262569-ukraine-refugees-crisis-russia/

Quote
The rise in the number of refugees in the Ukrainian conflict is resulting in one of the world’s “worst humanitarian crisis” today, the UN has confirmed, as sporadic fighting and a lack of aid forces civilians flee to neighboring countries, mainly Russia.

The number of Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) and those seeking refuge abroad is reaching catastrophic proportions despite the February-implemented Minsk II ceasefire agreement which barely holds ground with intermittent fighting continuing in the Donbass region.

The latest statistics from the Office of the UN High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) show that some 857,000 Ukrainians have sought asylum in neighboring countries. That is an increase of about 23,000 people in the last two weeks.

“The situation seems to be getting worse,” William Spindler, UNHCR Senior Communications Officer for Europe, West Africa, Statelessness told RT.

...

In the latest report on the Ukraine conflict, the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) estimates that between mid-April 2014 and 14 May 2015, at least 6,334 people were killed and 15,752 wounded. It also reported a danger posed to civilians by “unexploded ordinance and landmines” that are still left in Donbass.

“The situation is very serious, very worrying. This is one of the worst humanitarian crises in the world today,” Spindler said.

Yep, seems logical - people always flee in hundreds of thousands and seek refuge with an aggressor. Roll Eyes

Occupation troops would require stable supplies of food, fuel, construction materials etc. The costs will be significantly higher than $3 billion, so there is no economical sense.

Russia will incur some temporray costs for sure. But in the long term, Eastern Ukraine can be transformed in to a prosperous region, with the removal of the Western Ukrainian parasites. A lot of quality farmland is currently kept unutilized in that region, and Russian agro-business ventures will be able to generate huge amounts of profit from these plots.

If Ukraine actually defaults on the 3 billion Eurobond which is owed to Russia, then it gives the Russians the justification they need to invade Ukraine. So if Poroshenko and his clowns want to avoid losing large swaths of land, I advice them to quickly sell whetever assets they have, and pay back their debt to Russia.

Right. Russia has no reason to invade. They´ll just wait for the nazi crap and western mob junk to bring this basket case to the point where it´ll fall apart. Then they´ll be obliged to move into the southern part to ensure the security of the population there.

Well, if Ukraine defaults the mob´s propping up of the regime through IMF, ECB etc. should be impossible at least according to the regulations of these mob units. But of course any laws and regulations mean nothing to the mob if they counter its interests so it´ll all be bent.
