It could be true because everything is possible in the cryptocurrency. Ethereum can hit $4k in the future, and many people will be happy to see that price, but we don't know if that will happen or not. The teams still working on the next update and we don't know how will the project looks like and we only waiting for the release. If the next update is better than before, then the price could increase higher, and it will break $1k, and it will increase so high.
many people expect that to happen. the price of eth reaches $4000 but I think it's too much, you have to think realistically where the current price of eth is very low to reach the highest price it takes a long time especially now that there are many altcoins that have sprung up. I think eth will go up in price before 2021 but it won't reach $4000
It's also considerable that the value may grow to that point if this incoming halving will bring huge investment inside the market, we experienced that last 2017 where almost all those solid project jumped to high, considering ETH being next to BTC it will receive good support from investors that will look for good diversions and maximize their opportunities to earned more inside this venue of investment.The current value is showing a good position to place your investment, you need to take the risk waiting for good level and earned decent from this coin.
The dominance should fall a little, because I believe that after Bitcoin halving, the price of the main crypto currency will increase really fast, and this fact will not give an opportunity for all other crypto currencies to increase their prices as fell, because the dominance would be much bigger than 70 percent.
Frankly I will be surprised if etherum goes to 3000$
Bitcoin halving is good and always positive; but before etherum can attain such standards
Bitcoin has to be close to 30000$ before such happens to etherum

I will be glad if the price reaches at least $ 1K. But the price of ETH vs BTC is going down. ATH was in June 2017. Since then, local highs on this chart have only declined. estrangement from the target. Bad sign.

I should say you are too optimistic. While I really like that attitude, I think it is a bit far-fetched. But if everyone in the crypto space is like you, we are gonna be seeing a faster growth of coins' prices.
Anyway, $4,000 is too high for me, especially if you set the target before 2021. I mean, we are already approaching the last quarter of 2019. That means in a few months from now we are already in 2020. ETH 2.0 is going to present us an upgraded Ethereum but I doubt it is enough for the price to rocket fly to $4,000. Also, Bitcoin halving is gonna be competing hard with ETH 2.0. There is actually a very bullish outlook for Bitcoin. ETH might just settle at a lower price. But it could actually break its ATH.

I would not be surprised if ethereum reaches $ 4000. Well, what I'm thinking about is whether I can reach that number before 2021, this is what I'm going to think about. If ethereum streaks during Halving Bitcoin this is certainly very likely to happen.
Considering ETH a still leading platform for most of the dApps to bring their projects to blockchain technology, I am sure it can reach near to this value.

Bitcoin halving has no relations with ETH. if ETH continues to grow at the same speed as it is now, we won’t even see 1.5 thousand dollars. it will be replaced by new - more successful projects
In this matter, I also believe that ETH will have a high price in 2020. Until now, it can be said that the use, and the need for ETH are highly prioritized compared to another altcoin. this clearly will make the price of ETH will rise in 2020, especially if the development of ETH 2.0 is successful.

Pos implementation will make the rich people rich because most of them are the only ones that can avail to have it. But I don't expect or have that kind of expectation that ethereum will rise to $4k.

I've been reading a lot of post about Ethereum, that it is weakening, and having issues on their scalability, but there's also a lot of posts that supporting Ethereum is growing developing and will have another all-time high.
I prefer to support Ethereum because we have concrete proof, that Ethereum is still one of the best coins to invest

After bitcoin i will choose ETH over all other altcoins because i believe its the best coin for long term hold,just because its facing some challenges for now many investors sold theirs for bitcoin and some strong holders still holds,even if ETH goes down to 50dollars i will keep buying,vitalik is a good dev and the team will do their best for a better ETH future,ETH has my 100% full support,im not in crypto for short time profit and ETH is one of the strong altcoins i belief in.
I am skeptical about cryptocurrency growth forecasts from at least 2018. Ethereum of course a good coin, but this year has not reached even half of its peak.

It's possible since eth is a working in progress. It also may not reach that $4k because of it's volatility. One thing I'm sure is that eth is a coin worthy of holding long term. We also seen it rise during that 2017 surge of cryptocurrency but unfortunately it drops again to below $1k.
Your opinion I think is reasonable and in the year 2020 Ethereum price will experience an excellent improvement. If looking from the condition of Ethereum now that the price increase is very slow. But developers are still running and even more IEO projects use the Ethereum platform. I am sure if Ethereum is still in trust by many investors and this coin does not close the possibility that the year 2020 will rise very high.
The 4000$ price for ETH will be achievable only if bitcoin can surge over 50,000$ maybe after halving or not but to me ETH has proven to be a very strong altcoin,with lack of any new development so far and few failed news or upgrades ETH is still standing strong,i have a feeling that what is coming for ETH in few years more will be big
Eth will be able to reach half of bitcoin price by 2020 I hope this prediction will come true. because if I look at the development of eth itself in 2019 it can only reach a highest price of $ 350, and even then it doesn't last long [only lasts a few days]. then if anyone predicts that eth prices will reach $ 4k in 2021, I would be very happy, of course 
yes i agree with your opinion. indeed, if we look at it since the launch of the ETH until now it is very good and so worldwide considering the many functions and roles of ETH in the development of crypto in each program. maybe the price of $ 4000 is the price that should be achieved by ETH in 2021 given the development that will begin when version 2.0 has been released.
