I say never say never in crypto. The OP clearly stated two reasons for his price prediction. If ethereum team can break through with the upgrade and other proposed implementations to the blockchain, I don't see why there won't be any significant impact on the price growth. Keep in mind that ethereum still more developers than these new generation altcoins. Let's give it some time.

You had a valid thought though but it will still takes time.These prices cant be achieve so easily.Come to think that ETH do had that $1000+ ath and going x4 with that does really need some groundbreaking upgrades and some sort of hype plus entire market super bull run same goes with bitcoin and other good projects in the market currently.Surprised?
Crypto can give out that thing anytime because we cant predict on whats ahead that's why for now if you do believe that ETH is worth on your penny then it isn't bad to risk up some portion of our savings but you should do it with full management.

Even when ethereum is at its peak and receiving the most support, it still cannot reach the price of $4000, and I say this to help people to be transparent that we should not imagine such dreams, which is completely unreasonable, the movement from ethereum is too weak for such a jumpy growth, right now, ethereum is still at a fairly low price compared to previous years. So, stability and going up again is what I want when it has a chance to happen, for other dreams, it's a long distance.

What ever the reasons you think, maybe that is right or not gonna happen . For now it's hard to give specific year or date when ethereum reach tha value but for sure it will hit $4000 but we need to push the price up nd the supporters will buy again so we can able to see that. For now this year the movement again of etherem is rising and stable. I think it's time again to pump ethereum with the help of us.

I think the transaction speed needs to be done quickly because in recent days a lot of people have been unable to transfer their tokens because GAS is too high. I don't like the increase in ETH because it doesn't really have much value in investing and should leave that increase for altcoins with better technology. For me, ATOM is a project with great interest from investors and the technology of this project is the new generation of this market.

yes im not going be surprised if that moment happens to eth because eth is one of the top coin that performs verry well at most times but id say that itll not happen so easily .

as long as btc is still on the top , the demand for btc is still higher than any other coins incuding eth but if btc declines too much , that is a sign that other coins are going to rise up and of course that includes etherium .

I don't think so, I will say if the price will reach $1000 this year which is impossible to happen, then the price of ETH will double when that halving comes. but what if they switch to another coin and they ignore buying ETH? then I guess the price will remain the same right?

As an Ethereum holder, we should always stay positive if I take more than 3 years. In the short term, we cannot say how much the price of ETH will be in the future because it completely depends on the demand. Still, the value of ETH is low in the market, which it is giving an opportunity to the investors.

Well there’s a question in past if ethereum can even reached $100 but to everyone’s surprise in the early of 2018 ethereum hits $1,500 so what more the $4,000 in future?if bitcoin took the $20,000 almost then why not ETH?

There's no problem if we listen to those thoughts coming from different people who shared their insights. What is more important is that you remain strong with your determination to pursue what has been established on your desires to hold your asset. If eth price reached that expensive price, it could provide us huge profit gains once asset value will gradually increase.

We are in the speculation section, so giving high prediction is not new anymore. It is your own disposition towards crypto that will determine how far your investments will go.

Such prediction might be too high but I guess it gives a good feeling to some users here. Giving hope that someday eth will bounce back and they have solid reasons to believe so. So let them be.

i think $4000 is to high for eth before 2021, but $40 is too low for eth before 2021 mate
and maybe the most reasonable price for eth is about $2000 before 2021 Wink

The dreams don't become reality if the ETH POS news goes to be a fact this year. In my opinion, the price will fall and touch the $100 before the end of the year. The possibility of hitting low prices is more than hitting higher prices. In this situation, the 2021 predictions will stay just a guess.

Buying rumours is considered as risky trading excepting that the trader will be able to sell the same tokens in above the average market prices. Positive thinking will not add any contributions to the ETH developmetns but the situation will change after the ETH 2.0 in my opinion.

With the current situation of the entire market, it's gonna take a while for ethereum to attain such height, Eth is trading currently below $200.

Perhaps maybe in the next bull season it might reach such price, bitcoin has to soar higher to push up the dollar price of ethereum
