The price of 4000$ per Ethereum is very possible if there will be new bull market. As you can see there have been a lot of development of ethereum and we do not know if the bitcoin halving will also affect the price of other cryptocurrencies like ethereum. The ethereum 2.0 is one of the most waiting update in field of cryptocurrencies and I already holding ethereum since it hits all-time high price which is around 1000$.

Indeed there are many support for eth coin, because ETH a superior smart contract platform because Vitalik has always made changes in scalability until now for good changes for the future of Eth, but I still doubt if eth in 2020 will be $ 4,000 even though I admit Eth is one good coins to invest, so it takes even longer to reach that price

So your top 2 reasons why eth will hit $4k a coin is because the team is willing to try new things and because it will be proof of stake....I think you are going to need to dig a little bit deeper than that. There are literally thousands of coins with those 2 attributes. And why $4k and why after bitcoin halving. This post makes it sound like you are just throwing darts at a board

I think that the whales is the main contributor on ethereum price to achieve a certain value, before $200 will be break. Of course Vitalik Buterin will do everything to fund eth in order to maintain the market, which could prevent that from declining a higher percentage due to panic sellers. If ever we will be going to that price $400, the demand will also increase as it might create a lot of interest from those people who've monitored eth since the last time it went too high in contrast with bitcoin's bull market.

I have my hope and faith for Ethereum but I don't think it will reach 4000 that easy. It will be a long run for it to pursue that price. However, isn't impossible because we all know that Etheruem is also one of the most trusted coin. 2020 could either be a year for Bitcoin or Ethereum since there were huge events and changes happening in crypto world involving these two.

I am sure we will never know whether ETH can reach $ 4000 or not. But I am quite sure that in the next few years the price of ETH will not get there. Looking at the history of ETH, it seems we have to wait longer to see ETH reach $ 4000.
I would not be surprised if indeed ETH could reach $ 4000 in the normal way. But I would be surprised if ETH suddenly existed without any extraordinary factors affecting it.

Fisrt of all, You have to remember how much the total of supply of Ethereum. If anyhow eth hits 4000$ than just eth market will be almost 400 billon usd, how possible? I will really surprised if it will happen in 2022. But ETH price still quite low in the volatile market. Two years is very short time to ETH touch 4k$ it’s really difficult in this eth ecosystem. ETH a lot of updates in the coming years. I think 1000$ is desired price in 2020.

But i think hundreds percent price pump is not easy for top volume currencies, it will need many years, except there are something really big coming. If the price of eth is more than 2k right now, it will surpass bitcoin as top currency

I don't think the ethereum price will hit $4000 in 1-2 years' time because the number of ethereum in circulation is huge at about 100 million coins. unless the cryptocurrency gets to the mainstream, mass adoption by the people around the world. for that to happen we are going to need at least 1 billion people using cryptocurrency around the world.

dont suprised if ETH still under 500$ before 2021, this are the reason why

1. u dunno what u say, the dev has no idea , no strategy , lack of coordination each other, they may not showing sign of stopping because they can't stop.

2. did u think about inflation of price about eth.2.0 POS system ? , and also before go to it, phase to move hundreds of smart contract to new blockchain still be unsolved problem

and , according to eth 2.0 roadmap. eth 2.0 will finish on 2021, so i guess what ur speculation before 2021 eth will 4000 its a wishfull think.

Ethereum is still the most promising altcoin right now, and its potential is really big, but I doubt that it will hit 4000$ by 2021, since the market is still down and it will need a long time to recover again slowly. Maybe it will hit 1000$ again or so by this year, if the market started to recover early.

Why limit it to $4000, why not $40,000 or $400,000 or $4,000,000? Of course by then it'll cost $10,000 USD for a loaf of bread due to hyperinflation.
