You are very optimistic and it seems like you are not looking at CMC at the moment. I also believe that ETH would make it to 4k, but not within the upcoming 5 years, because right now the whole alt market is too weak.
ETH at the moment is difficult to achieve even $500, I agree that in the next 5 years, the price of $4000 will not be exactly and not the fact that it will be

Wrong, IEO is not boosting ETH since they are using an exchange token, and that's a competition. The best way to see ETH boost again is if ICO will be alive again which is unlikely to happen since people have already settled with IEO.
Further, if the market will recover and ETH tokens will rise again, this would help ETH to recover, but this is a big and major improvement which for almost 2 years have not yet arrived or happen.

There was hundreds of thousands of people worldwide buying BTC to trade for ETH to trade for that shiny new token. There was also countless ICO's popping up on the daily and people rushing to be the first to buy and flip. Millionaires were being minted on the daily until the companies behind some of the ICO's began dumping their ETH for that cold hard cash. Now people see a tiny upswing in price and are running to be the first to call bull run! hurry up and buy. However without a reason for hundreds of thousands of people to trade Crypto like those fateful days of spring 2017, We will not see EVEN the numbers that we had. Especially while people are squirreling coins to cash out as soon as they can.

$4000 is quite high actually. Like what you said, it will be very hard to reach if Ethereum not make really good progression. If only follow bitcoin price that pumped like last pump, i think a lot of people might be already hold some, and ready to sell it. if there is a possibility that ethereum prices can reach that level, the potential ethereum can be seen in the coming year. when ethereum 2.0 becomes quite popular, I think the rise in ethereum prices will be natural because of necessity, and that could allow prices to reach thousands of dollars. but this is only speculation, and uncertain

ETH need to make a new demand, making ETH to POS can be a big help but it will hard to predict if that was enough to get the price back 1000$.

The March 2020 is the longest running option for ETH. And if you look at even the largest call which is $600, it only has a price of $5-6 per option.
Hence there is very little reasoning that it will even go above $606 by March 2020. Keep in mind this is only with an OI of around 4500 contracts so its not large volume but if some entity assumed that $4000 was possible they would buy up every single one of these options.

Yeah, ICO exit scams really put Eth's reputation in the toilet, and it's not Eth's fault but not much you can do about that except hope the team continues developing and making it better. $4k is a long dream that seemed just around the corner in 2017. We can get there again but not unless we can ditch the damage done by ICO exit scams. If the only way you can imagine Eth breaking $4k is if Btc breaks $100k then that doesn't say much for Eth. Eth needs to be its own thing, and I think it will but price it lands at is anyone's guess.

As we know that alts are tied to Bitcoin and I personally think that ETH is worth about $4000, Bitcoin needs to cost about $100k. 
After bitcoin halving in 2020 don't be surprised if ETH hits 4000$ before 2021,this are the reasons why i think its possible

2. If these are the two reasons you think the price would reached $4k then you would have to wait long. How many projects in the space are not trying new things and the second point, the POS reward, what is the annual return on investment, this is very important. There are reasons why people are not staking their tokens in most of these POS projects because the return do not worth it

Even if ETH increases by 10% per day, it will take alteast 74 days for it to reach $4000. It is complete stupidity to expect ETH to reach $4000 for next 1 year, atleast. Bitcoin has shown us in past that miracle is possible in crypto market. It rose like 4-5 times in 2017 but for ETH to reach $4000, it has to increase by 20 times which is too much ask for a coin which is currently facing constant fall.

Although i agree with you on the fact that ETH value will surely rise because of it's fundamentals (and because it's Vitalik, come on), the fact that they've been saying they will go to proof-of-stake or ETH2.0 for 3 years now is quite disturbing. Delay after delay with slow progress. The progress to $4000 may take longer than 2021 i'm afraid.
