It is reasonable if duelbits give promotion to their followers in twitter, how about those gamblers who are not following duelbits in twitter? IIRC, Duelbits launched an art contest here on the forum before, unfortunately I didn't had the chance to win. But when they also conducted an art contest on twitter (it's for halloween few years ago) I joined and won a spot. This is the advantage of following Duelbits on other platforms to not missed their latest promotions. So if they have separate promotions for each channels, it doesn't mean you can't take part. It is possible that Duelbits wanted to have more player to support and pay attention to their twitter handle, maybe one of the reason why they purposely leave the code on twitter and not share it on other platform. As stated code are to be redeemed on the Duelbits gambling platform so the code is for everyone and not only for twitter users.

I do not think that connectivity can hamper the transmission, even data internet are fast now, it is a matter of who browse faster and able to get and type the code faster when everyone else is waiting for the code.

It has nothing to do with the internet, I believe your device is not on during the notification was sent or your mobile phone feature of snoozing the internet is on. It is impossible to get the notification when your device is open and with an active internet since message is sent at the same time to all subscriber. Or if you are browsing through pc, it is possible that the platform that gives the notification is not running.
