pay to list it on cryptopia or yobit... the next cryptopia vote finishes in 7 hours and DVC is in 2nd place. Would only take a few ppl to bump it to #1.

BTER has apparently delisted DVC.  Got several thousand of these puppies and absolutely nowhere to exchange em.  Ideas welcome

It's back up now. It was off for 8-10 hours yesterday with an error saying hosting had been suspended. Came up really early this morning.

Anyone know what's going on with Devtome? It says hosting has been suspended.

As for novaexchange - I don't know this exchange. I read that it stopped working, then appeared again and it does not add my confidence in it.
If you trade there please add DVC to voting.

Currently, the value of this coin on bter dropped significantly.
There is a possibility that bter will remove the coin from the auction.
It is necessary to give traders an opportunity for arbitrage. We should increase volumes of trade.
I think this can be done by increasing the number of trading platforms.

I'll look into Cryptopia. Coins seems to be automatically added into several markets besides BTC such as LTC, DOGE etc... Which is good to avoid 1-2 sats spreads problems encountered by high supply coins.

Terrible idea. Yobit are a shit exchange for shitcoins. Nothing but trouble with them.

Any other exchange, but not them. I see novaexchange is back up - anyone tried them?

How do you think, does it make sense to add this coin to https://yobit.net?

That's what I did.

You should be able to just delete everything inside the blocks folder, and it'll redownload it from the network: C:\users\\AppData\Roaming\Devcoin\blocks

Do you have a link to where one can grab the blockchain?

Downloading the entire block chain in the end seems to have solved the problem. I think my previous version of the block chain had gotten corrupted somehow. I didn't think of that at first because, well, when the block chain is corrupted, the error message is different for each type of coin wallet. It took all night, and then in the morning when I checked it was taking forever to get past a particular block. Forget the number but it ended in 71. I closed the wallet and restarted it once. It was still hung up on that block, but I just left the wallet open for quite a while and by the time I got back to it, it had gotten past that block and fully synchronized. I haven't tried to send anything, but as far as I can tell, it's working fine.

One thing I did do, because the wallet seemed to have been taking forever to find a block source, was I put the peers file back into my appdata folder. Eventually the wallet did connect, and I'm not sure if that made a difference or not. I'm also not sure if closing and then restarting my wallet when it was stuck on the block ending in 71 made any difference or if it was just going to take a long time to get past that particular block no matter what I did.

But in any case, downloading the entire block chain seems to solve a lot of problems, so good to try when the wallet is acting up.

Didn't get past this with the devcoin wallet, yet, wiser. Watching your ticket with interest. Monies riding on it, if you will.
