It all seems like there is nobody taking care Devcoin anymore. Yet I think DVC is great for micro-transactions, I will elaborate more soon.

It's not delisted from Bter yet, just in danger of being delisted. However, it would be great to get it back up on some other exchanges. I really miss having a BTC/DVC market.
pay to list it on cryptopiaor yobit... the next cryptopia vote finishes in 7 hours and DVC is in 2nd place. Would only take a few ppl to bump it to #1.

It's back up now. It was off for 8-10 hours yesterday with an error saying hosting had been suspended. Came up really early this morning.

As for novaexchange - I don't know this exchange. I read that it stopped working, then appeared again and it does not add my confidence in it.

It is necessary to give traders an opportunity for arbitrage. We should increase volumes of trade.
I think this can be done by increasing the number of trading platforms.

I'll look into Cryptopia. Coins seems to be automatically added into several markets besides BTC such as LTC, DOGE etc... Which is good to avoid 1-2 sats spreads problems encountered by high supply coins.

Terrible idea. Yobit are a shit exchange for shitcoins. Nothing but trouble with them.

Any working exchange for devcoin? 
I've been using BTER since vircurex died to pay for dvccountdown hosting. First convert dvc to cny, then cny to btc, fairly painless, but a bit harder to know if you're getting a good deal.
It's got a good UI, not sure how stable they are. Don't keep anything on the exchange if you don't trust it.

But in any case, downloading the entire block chain seems to solve a lot of problems, so good to try when the wallet is acting up.
Do you have a link to where one can grab the blockchain?

You should be able to just delete everything inside the blocks folder, and it'll redownload it from the network: C:\users\
