On the bounty page it says that there is a 3/5 share award for one last button.

From:
http://devtome.com/doku.php?id=devcoin_bounty_now#button

"One fifth of a share for a last devcoin button."

Quote
I made a couple more, but if I'm not eligible (I already made one) you can still post it on the gallery and such.
..

It's not written on the bounty page, but it's only one award per person. Some people made multiple images, in which case they list all the images in their post, and say which they prefer. Then I put their preferred image on the gallery, with a link to their image post.

I am diligently trying to work on the "crypto forum which can send and receive email"

postfiat.com is what I went with, being a play on post-fiat currencies and post (chat).

I've been running into some issues with linking the forum with an email server, but like I said, I'm working on it. That bounty kicked me into high gear.

Cyclos can do payment processing too for fiat and made up currencies that one works with in a way similar to fiat, that is, what is missing is automation that accepts cryptocoins and sends out cryptocoins.

Basically such apps deal in balances, it doesn't matter whether they are balances of made up stuff or of fiat except if you want to send to or take from the fiat banks bank wires etc.

They are like alertpay, paypal, egold and so on.

So I guess maybe the missing elements are the parts where people deposit coins and withdraw coins. The deposits could be done using individual shop type shopping carts, just sell people amounts of deposit. The withdrawals maybe would be new.

Then when someone wants to buy something somewhere if they have no balance yet they can use the deposit system to buy a balance then use that balance to buy whatever, though that breaks into two steps what things like bitpay do as a single step.

I suspect the single step will be more in demand.

CryptoTalk.Org - Get Paid for every Post!
Source code for a payment processor for cryptocoins would be handy.

I suspect most coins lack payment processors simply because no payment processors have released their source code.

Can you adapt code written for fiat to accommodate cryptocoins?

Here's an opensource fiat payment processor:

Seems like Drupal or Joomla had a really nice auction plugin. If someone has a payment processor, I would buy the domain and hosting.

We could just run the daemon, but my guess is that you don't have a server lying around.  Grin

Nope. No joy.

I suggest a bounty for a devcoin "bitmit" or "ebay"

Right now, like we mentioned before, most people just sell DVC because that is the only use.

A place to spend DVC will stimulate the economy and encourage people to buy DVC!  Smiley

What do you think?

Anniversary Gift 1:

I don't know if this qualifies for anniversary present/reward, but I will donate 10K to the first four people who create automations using Devtome (other than IFTTT.com since it's already used once).

For example, http://www.devtome.com/doku.php?id=if_this_then_that_feeds is an automation to send new entries on the Devtome "recent changes" page to SMS. I used IFTTT.com, but if you can find ways to automate alerts or whatever, I'm up for sending 1/4 shares to anyone.

It's a bit subjective what "automation" means, but hopefully it will spark some creativity.

Anniversary Gift 2:

I'll give 20K DVC to someone to create an API to grab dividend info from cryptostocks that we can all use.

Edit: I read the bounty page and it says I can get 3/5 of a share for a DVC unicode symbol. Here it is:
Đ as in Đevcoin
..

That's neat, I had no idea there was a unicode symbol like that. It's been added to the gallery:
http://www.devtome.com/doku.php?id=devcoin_gallery

You get 3/5 of a share, three 3/5 of a share symbol bounties remain.

Thanks!  Smiley

My giveaway in honor of Devcoin's 2nd anniversary ended last night.  All new subscribers were sent 2,000 DVC.  Two who weren't completely opted in were sent 1,000 and will be sent the remaining 1,000 after they complete the opt-in process (my email list service seemed to be having technical difficulties).

I'm now holding an essay contest with a modest DVC prize awarded to the winner.  Details can be found here:

http://devtome.com/doku.php?id=announcing_the_dvc_essay_contest

I'm looking forward to reading the entries Smiley

Happy Birthday Devcoin!

I just realised it is quite a huge button.

Same with mine.
Smaller version here:

Since the above symbol may be too close to the current symbol, the greek uppercase Delta could be used as well.
