To give people more incentive to do stuff, I want to give authority to CTYA, develCuy, and Markm to hand out up to 12 shares each. They would each have the authority to hand out shares for people who helped their fields, without having to specifically ask for permission on the thread. This means people who do something could get paid faster, without the extra time and thread clutter of asking for each bounty or payment on the thread.

CTYA could hand out up to 12 shares per round to people who help get an exchange; develCuy could hand out up to 12 shares per round to people who help with either Steemit or coding devcoin. Markm could hand out up to 12 shares per round to people who help with either his exchange or Open Transactions.

Also CTYA would get 20 shares per round into an account, which he would convert to popular cryptocoins by some means like Markm's exchange, to offer to exchanges in return for listing devcoin. Basically, once he had crypto saved up from that account, he'd send another message to exchanges who didn't outright reject devcoin telling them there's now an extra payment for listing devcoin.

They've all agreed to do this. If anyone becomes corrupt and starts giving away shares for no reason, which I do not expect at all, then that person would lose their share authority. Any objections?

Believe means you have to trust this things, you have hope that soon the price of each cryptos will rising up. But if you only want an earnings or profit and you don't have much belief in the cryptos then sell it. But make sure that you don't regret it till the end you must take the rish evry thing in this world

It's hard to say.  Bitcoin keeps going up but there's no hype so it's not taking the other coins with it yet.  And at the same time devcoin keeps diluting which means plenty of devs who need the money will keep selling as will many pools.  This combination means Devcoin's price can keep going lower until something changes.
I'm hoping Bitcoin gets its ETF license which would change everything and bring in lots of new miners and millions of speculative investors.

Indeed good news. Devcoin deserves a place on a decent exchange (and a bright(er) future....).

I completed the steps required to list Devcoin at bisq.network
https://github.com/bisq-network/bisq-assets/pull/3

Now we wait for those changes to be accepted and merged into the next release of the bisq.network software

Cheers!

Great job dude!!! I can't wait to have the DVC listed in there! Thanks for listening  Smiley

not holding out a lot of hope for coinscontrol - based in India and they just had a crackdown. Also think the dev(s?) may be in over his head

It's an all too common tale with these random exchanges. Looks like we need to go shopping for another exchange.

I have an application pending at

CTYA, many pages ago (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=233997.6775) Iconfirm proposed to be listed in bitsquare.io, now the bisq.network (https://bisq.network/), a decentralized exchange.

In here there is a list of requirements that I think at the time wasn't possible to meet, but now some of those things are a reality (https://docs.bisq.network/exchange/howto/list-asset.html). However, I don't know how feasible it is today, or if we should be listed in similar exchanges, instead of the traditional ones.  I don't know, this gets too technical for me to be honest.

I would love to hear your opinion and obviously the Devcoin community opinion.

Cheers!

Good move. Bisq & other decentralized exchanges (BarterDEX) are the future, & more importantly - they're SAFE.

. Do your team have bounty programs?

Hi baby.phuong

Yes we do have a bounty program but it is not very active at the moment.

We would like to change that.

Does anyone want to list some activities in order of priority for a general discussion?

There seems a lot of potential with steem's upcoming SMTs (Smart Media Token) and DVC bounties. We could create a steem-tome.

Does anyone have any experiences with this exchange to share with the rest of the Devcoin community?

CTYA

EDIT
Fees:
There is a 4 BTC fee for new coin additions to the BTC base market.
There is an additional 1 BTC for each optional additional base market listing, for example COIN/ETH market.

I had asked a while ago if Devcoin is still merged mined - the reply I got indicated an effort to move to Steemit's "proof of human effort" - is it possible to merge mine SHA256 with current client or not?

Yes.

In case any of you were unaware of the fact, or had forgotten it, DeVCoin, like several others of the earliest altcoins, especially those that are merged-mined alongside BiTCoin, is one of the coins used in the Galactic Milieu.

In the past that had mostly meant that it was among the assets supported by the Digitalis Open Transactions server, and thus that historical tables and charts of its value in terms of various other such assets, and of theirs in terms of it, are maintained online at http://galaxies.mygamesonline.org/digitalisassets.html

However, getting Open Transactions to a point where "grandmothers can use it" has still not happened, so I have branched out into two other platforms: HORIZON and STELLAR.

HORIZON (HZ) used to be traded on Poloniex, however they delisted it while I was still in the process of migrating to it; thus I looked around for yet another alternative platform to use and settled on STELLAR, which is still traded on several mainstream, website-style exchanges, as shown at https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/stellar/#markets

Since HORIZON does not seem to be listed anywhere else currently, I have added it to the panoply of assets I support on the STELLAR platform.

I am still in the process of documenting the assets, that is, I have actually already set up more than those I have so far documented at Makemoney Knotwork, so re-visit the lists periodically to check what new assets I have been adding.

The list of HORIZON assets is at http://makemoney.knotwork.com/horizon/ and the lists of STELLAR assets and currencies are at http://makemoney.knotwork.com/stellar/

All words are counted. That would be 3.3 shares. But it rounds down (I think) to your nearest full 1k, so it would *count* as 3 shares. If you added 700 more words, it would be 4.
