doesn't inspire confidence in the claimed specs.
Sounds like it saves 2W power by cutting the performance in half?
If it's still profitable when it's ready to ship I'd order a couple of them.
Hi Ant!
A heavy algorithm requires less loading / unloading operations therefore consumes less energy.

We have not started selling yet. Negotiations with producers and banks are VERY slow... Sales will begin when we receive guarantees from.

Especially for you I have a spoiler  Wink https://mega.nz/#!eeRWXARL!4NU7PaQV7gws831NYf6o5DraAGyB4qxwLWbpDRxZebk

What could possibly go wrong ?

~LOL~

Right?

So many red flags its insane.

Need to discuss details in private via PM and email;  nothing told to everyone as a sign of transparency....

That detail right there would make me lock the thread if I was a mod, and PM him requiring him to be transparent about such details to prove hes not attempting to scam;  if he wished to try and reopen a thread.

Warning about this guy peeps.

The Dwarf looks like a very interesting project/product, but the last pic (showing 0 H/s) doesn't inspire confidence in the claimed specs.

Can you explain a bit more what is meant here:
"This small device is able to replace one rig and produce 7 kh /  10 W on the v7 and 3.5 kh / 8W on the heavy."

Sounds like it saves 2W power by cutting the performance in half?

If it's still profitable when it's ready to ship I'd order a couple of them.

CryptoNight7 and CryptoNightHeavy are two different algorithms with different power and performance characteristics.

--Since it's using only 10W of power to run, have you though of powering it with a standard laptop charger?
This is designed for two power wires: 12 and 5 volts. This allows you to use an old PSU for 200-300 watts for more a dozen devices.
Ok, thanks a lot for the reply. I was hoping we can reduce any noise or heat to a bear minimum.

And He hasn't stated any plans on doing a guarantee review despite of majority members sentiments

including the escrow

too good to be true, unless there were no handed units to the trusted member here, i'll still considered it scammy
We will see.
I'll give him the benefit of the doubt. If he's slow-dripping info because the product is still in development, fine. He knows by now that several users of these boards have offered to test, so I'm happy to stay in wait-and-see stance.

And no offer for sale, as yet...

--but none of the real questions asked previously will be answered......
We have not started selling so far. We do not even know the exact price. Do you want a guarantee now?..

YES, I was a guarantee of a real product reviewed by a trusted member.
and most of all, I want PROOF of a product as described BEFORE taking or requesting ANY payment; as well as GUARANTEED shipping/receiving terms; even if its no guarantee or promise whatsoever.  at least you would be honest about it.

Just like anyone else out there that is interested, I would want to purchase one: if what you say is true.
Everything else you say means nothing if the product is just a scam or a ruse... because you are simply trying to push a product;  that's not being manufactured yet.... you haven't reached a manufacturing agreement even, you haven't sent any review samples out.... it's all hot air and fancy photos.

Do you understand me now?

Look at the history of miners that have been introduced and marketed the same way you are doing it now.  Now, look at how many of those "miners" are actually retail/purchasable products OR that have existed at one point.....    At most 1 out of 15-20 of them is an actual product now.

Look at how Pandaminer came about and was first introduced to us;  and subsequently, what steps they took.

Take note.  We are watching.  We are willing to purchase if it is worth it.

It may seem like I am being pushy, or harassing you:

What I am really doing is I'm trying to hand you the key to a successful sale;  should the product be legitimate.  I suggest you be extremely transparent from now on.

Good news! We almost agreed with the manufacturer. Now we are waiting for the cost of packaging and shipping. I hope that within five days it will become clear.

-> We offer 25% discount and free EMS shipping for the translation! <-

--So you just need PSU, monitor and LAN cable to get this little beast going?
Monitor can be used for tuning. Or for control. Usually the monitor is not needed, you can use web interface only.

--Since it's using only 10W of power to run, have you though of powering it with a standard laptop charger?
This is designed for two power wires: 12 and 5 volts. This allows you to use an old PSU for 200-300 watts for more a dozen devices.

--if these are real i want 50 of em
We tested a maximum of five in one network. Device's TCP stack is very simple and we can not guarantee functioning of a large number of miners together in one network. Take it note.

--Most often HDL languages are used, but the whole process is similar to actually designing an ASIC.
cryptonight is a very simple algorithm. ByteKicking type. The secret is in fast memory and in quick access. You just need to recreate the necessary processor's part, and this will work for any fork. Monero can not depart from the processor architecture, it will destroy the CPU mining.

--What chip, or even brand are you using?
It is not Xilinx/Altera. Spartan-III  can get 1.3-1.5 kh/s, it's true. But most part of the resources will be spent on AES implementation.

--not anymore, there are already DIY FPGA miners, that if, you can afford the price
Virtex is not optimal for a cryptonight. Maybe on other algorithms this can show the result.

--but none of the real questions asked previously will be answered......
We have not started selling so far. We do not even know the exact price. Do you want a guarantee now?..

--Guys, there is a monero logo on the board. It's definitely a scam.
monero logo is red Wink
And this device was designed for sale. This is written in the first message.

--As of today no video at this link.
I know. Video will be published after agreeing the price and terms of delivery. Now I'm not ready to answer the questions that this will cause... I'm too busy with production...

For this reason, there are no replies to the e-mail yet.
I apologize to everyone who wrote, but I do not know the exact price. I will answer to all when there is clarity! Be patient.

OP.  I would be willing to review if necessary.  Im sure Phil would be willing to review himself.. and he's the better candidate.

until then, I will remain more skeptical than the above replies are.

I'm still alive too.  Cool
