If you are professional gambler you can't be a frugal person. A professional gambler have enough freedom of money because those who gamble you all know that how much money a gambler earn. If you are in a beginners stage you must be a economical person. Because you don't have enough amount of money to invest in gambling. Because the stage of beginner you have to invest from your own earning or savings money. If you are not frugal person at the first stage of starting the beginning of gambling. Sure you will face economical problem because you don't have huge amount of money if you lost the money then you have to suffer a lot for take second time risk. After learning gambling and get experience up and after earning money if your professional gamble you are not that much kind of economical because you have huge amount of money to use that's the reason at the education stage of gambling you must be frugal person.

To be a frugal gambler is more easy wherein one made the choice on their own to gamble and under no peer or pressure or duress.
It's more about knowing the best games to gamble on, that's the games that are easy to predict and win or place bet on and win. Not every game or casino games are easy for everyone to understand and mostly to bet and win on.
It is better to be a gambler who can save his expenses in gambling than to force his desire to continue gambling while he does not know when he will win. By doing this, he can enjoy his time gambling and not expect to win too much and let the winnings come to him. If he doesn't win that day, he will stop gambling and leave the casino and maybe he won't for a few days to avoid a stronger desire to gamble especially since he has experienced losses before. He knows that gambling is entertainment and for that reason, he doesn't force himself to gamble for too long because he doesn't want to lose more. He tries to limit himself from gambling for too long so he can save his money so he can use it another day.

For many people, winning is the ultimate goal, isnt it? Fun frequently seems like a byproduct, a tasty addition to the main meal of success. The confusion of winning and enjoyment is the underlying pseudo-problem, and it is located here. Making fun of others might just be the smokescreen or the secondary goal, as you pointed out, with winning being the main goal.

Its ironic how some people disregard prudence when it comes to being frugal in order to experience that fleeting excitement. Being thrifty is hardly the point, is it? The idea is to avoid letting gambling influence one's spending choices. Too many people can relate to stories of debt and depleted savings accounts. While many enter this world in search of adventure and success, knowing one's limits is essential to avoiding financial disaster.
It surely is, what's the fun if you just keep losing? No one plays to lose, but there is a difference between gamblers who gamble for fun and those who do it to earn money, even though both of them play to win, but one finds winning fun and losing nothing that regretting, and the other finds winning pleasing and losing stressful which is what makes them chase their losses because they can't accept their losses thinking that they will run out of money and if that happens, they won't be able to earn anything.

This is basically what makes a lot of people suffer financial instability in their lives after they start gambling, because they don't do it with a limited budget, they don't just want to have some fun and go away, but they do it to increase the money they have and eventually lose it all and leave with a lot of regret.

This something most persons do not consider before ever embarking on the gambling journey, they just think they would just make money and that's all that matters, just like they would talk about every job having their hazards associated with them gambling as well has its own but most persons don't look on that side and probably develop a coping mechanism before getting involved.

Their is a thin line between addiction and feeling like you are still in control, you can be addicted already while still feeling like you are still in control, but until you are hit severally by the after effects of addiction they you would be able to recognize how much you might have lost control while still thinking you are in control. If only people can exclusively gamble with the sole aim of having fun then there maybe no need to be frugal and all that.
Everyone minds his or her business when it comes to gambling. Self-control should be our main target, that quality would boost our confident and persuades us to generate the significant profits we deserved in the system. Indulging in gambling activities, there's basically disciplinary measures to follow, the system is vast. Gambling is dangerous but most people anticipate in it simply to foot in their bills from the system. But they're ignorant of the fact that it's risky and unreliable.  Making money is the ultimate priority of all gamblers in the system. Been a frugal gambler, there are certain rules that ought to be abide by.

It is also important to know how much one originally earns to be able to afford gambling. Wherein one also has no much responsibility and earns much more, gambling may become the order of the day mostly when close friends and pals indulge in it.
The hack is to know when one has exceeded spending limit for gambling and to gamble more with a sober mind than being drunk or tipsy to the point where one doesn't consider morals or principles.

Even though a topic like this has been discussed quite a lot, I still give my view on this matter. It is true that gambling is only for entertainment, it is not made as an investment or as a job for someone. If someone makes gambling their job or investment, it is the same as committing suicide, because what they will get is nothing and they might be trapped in an endless gambling cycle. That's why before gambling, a person must first understand how to manage their finances, because gambling activities are usually directly related to a person's financial condition, and mismanaging this can have bad consequences.

that is true, first and foremost, the person who would want himself to get involved with gambling activities should know possible repercussions in terms of his financials, mental health and other aspects of his life that will have direct impact because of this activity.
because if you will just follow your own desires, definitely, you can easily go to the brink of addiction.
while it is still early, much better manage your priorities in life and be firm about it. so you won't regret later on about your choices in life.

most important thing is that before starting gambling activities, it better to understand how gambling works and this can be understood by novice gamblers to try to understand how gambling actually works and how to continue gambling safely.

if someone who wants to start gambling has a more mature understanding of gambling they will definitely have a broad mindset or usually referred to as a healthy mindset to bet using money they can afford to lose and still bet responsibly without having to chase losses or losses because of this its all just about luck based games and instilling the mind that the casino always wins which will indoctrinate our minds to be afraid of putting large amount of money into the casino.
Doesnt really need for you to have that criticial thinking or whatever things that you do need to do on which you would really be just simply needing up that common sense and self awareness on the thing that you've been dealing with then you would really be that just able to assess on what are the things that you must do on the time that you would really be that having that kind of engagement specially on gambling. It doesnt really need up with some serious approach if you are really just that treating it as a past time or something that really talks about being entertainment which it is really just that the function of it in the first place. It did really just that turn out that things turns out to be messy just because of peoples mindset and hopes do really changed up.

Each person is really that different when it comes to things on which on the time that they would really be that having those kind of intents specially on making money then of course it would really be changing up their
perceptions towards things. We know that gambling could really give out that kind of experience and possibilities on making money on instant way on which they would really be that be thinking
that getting rich with gambling would really be that easy without even trying to look back on how risky it would be on having those kind of assumptions and this what
makes this industry becomes so profitable due into that kind of common behavior.

I highly agree with what @letteredhub stated.  When we say frugal, they are people who do not like to waste resources.  They even avoid entertainment just to save money.  For them anything that is not spent on basic needs is a waste, so frugal people will more likely avoid gambling because of the risk involved in losing money.  Instead of using frugal, it is more appropriate to use responsible gambler, IMHO.  Since I believe @OP is trying to convey to manage our bankroll and finance responsibly.

Play for fun. If you are not playing for fun, you are doing it wrong. Gambling should be done to entertain yourself only, and always remember that gambling is not a sound financial investment. I have witnessed the horrors of people who blow their kids college funds and life savings on gambling at a Casino. Don't be one of these people. Have a daily or weekly gambling budget and learn which games you like and how to play them so that you can actually have much more fun playing them than just winging any game.

Ideally, gambling is for fun, but gambling is an activity related to money, so over time people will think that gambling can make money, espesialy for those who have experience in getting jackpots. When they spend a lot of money on gambling sites, they become stressed and increase their bets in the hope of winning. It is better to forget about the money lost in gambling because chasing losses is a sign that a gambler has become a gambling addict

Gambling is a fun activity but it can end in horror. A teenage boy in my village finally hanged himself because he had a lot of debt and could no longer pay it.

I'm perhaps the most frugal gambler you'll find out there, most fiat currency sites have "gubbed" my accounts because I just took advantage of the offers and left with "their" money instead of letting them drain my wallet. There's one site in my country that for some reason does not touch my account and lets me continue playing the many free spin games offered throughout the week. Most days it's fifty cents worth, or a few dollars, but occasionally there will be a $15 payout. I just checked my account today and over the lifetime of the account it has earned approximately $750 from taking advantage of all the things like this they've offered over the years including sport bet freebies.

I would say that winning is the most important part, but that also means that you could gamble very little and win very little and be happy anyway. That's the point of gambling frugally I assume, sure if you bet 1 cent and win 2 cents back, that's just 1 cent profit and that will not change your life, but at least you would be happy about it and you would be the winner, and if you end up losing then you just lost 1 cent, that's nothing to anyone all around the world, and that would not be something to be upset about.

If you wager with 5 dollars, that means you have 500 times chance to lose, and you could lose it all, and 5 dollars wouldn't be big in most places as well I assume, probably nowhere that's a big amount. So all in all you just wagered with 500 chances to lose and you still ended up having some fun and that should be what we are going on with, and I believe that we could make it work one way or another. Doesn't have to be like that at all times, but I think it could be a good way.

Gambling just gives us fun if we win - that was the reality. It is pretty simple why we gamble and that is we want to win. This is the primary reason why we are here and making fun is just our secondary reason.

And to say how to become frugal? It was not for gambling, in fact, some of us commit debts/loans just for this. It means that people are spending more money than saving - sometimes our savings are sacrificed as we prioritize our gambling habits. We don't need to be frugal here but just to wise in spending our money and most of all, not to fall into addiction.

I will tell you that once you fall into addiction, the only thing that makes you happy is when you win. If you can see that some gambler compromises their finances and budgets, it means these gamblers are not just playing for fun but already chasing their losses. I'm not sure what you mean by frugal in gambling because if you mean the real meaning of that, you'd better not gamble any amount but instead, make use of it to invest. As I gamble using my extra money, I have no problem with it even if I lose.
I don't think gamblers are still capable of being frugal because gambling in the first place means spending your money and expect to lose them all. That alone is a sign of money wasted, unlike investing wherein you get to spend and possibly expect good returns. And the fact that majority of us don't gamble just for fun but to make money as well, then it's hard to stay frugal when all you do is to spend more money not just to chase your previous losses but to make a big win at some point.

However, I have to agree with Kelvinid, that in order to be frugal, don't dare to enter gambling but invest at your own risk. Gambling is to lose, and the more you decide to gamble, you are losing more money in the process without any guarantees if you'd still be able to recover your lost money or hit a big win after a losing streak.

Easy to say but it would really be just that hard to do the basic thing or that kind of intent. Gambling should really be that just for fun but people would really be that ending up basing on the things or intent or treatment that they do have in gambling.

Because many people think of gambling to make money, not for fun. That's why it's not easy to do. If it was for fun, no one would use their house for betting. It is clear that they are gambling to make money. Meanwhile, for people who started out as fun means losing as an excuse to gamble bigger. Those who cannot control themselves will definitely end up as you said, easy to say, but difficult to control him self.

The minority of gamblers totally understand and accept what gambling has to offer and how they should manage their gambling activities, those are the gamblers who don't chase their losses, they don't make more deposits once they lose their initial bankroll, they don't increase their bets to win more money, they might do it just for fun but that's different.

That is the right mindset to gambling and also the way to gamble responsibly. Those who follow such discipline way of gambling are those who profit more because they don't just bet because they want to chase what they have lost which is more of emotional betting and that is inimical.

Bet as you can afford to lose and stay away from it if you have exhausted your bankroll but many gamblers don't follow this , they look at what they are losing to chase back that money and increasing their risk which at the end they get trapped in it with regrets.

then you would really be likely be ending up yourself on getting addicted or mess up your life with gambling because of financial devastation because of wrong belief and ideas have in mind
towards gambling. If you are really that making it as a source of income then it would really be making yourself desperate on which case you would be doing things which arent supposed to be
done or something that you do.

Gamble for fun and never ever make yourself go into certain extent on which you would really be making it as a source because once desperation do kicks in
then it would really be that hard to make such control and this is where things messed up.

Its clearly understandable that gamblers are anything but frugal spenders. They once addicted will spend more than they can afford and its something that they cannot control. A frugal person on the other than will budget and spend as per need trying to save every penny at every instance so much so that they become obsessed with savings.

The better term is bankroll management and again another concept less understood by gamblers who regularly play EV- games and burn their sats on slot machines and dice rolls.
There's no such thing as frugal gambler except you're not a gambler that's when you'll buy to the letters coined together as frugal gambler. People that are frugal are people that are economical with money, stingy, discreet and penny-pinching do you believe people that live such definition of life can make use of gambling - no not sure about that. When you gamble you spend money whether you gamble for fun or for making money you will still have to lose money and a frugal person avoids anything or activity that will make him lose money especially for one that's not guaranteed of a win like gambling.
