These people have the wrong information about what gambling is and what gambling is not, it comes from greed and from people who show off their winnings and try to imitate it if you gamble because of these people's showing off their earnings then you are on a bad start because people are trying to win big so they can show off at the expense of losing three times of what they won.
It's not easy to educate oneself you also need to learn to control and be objective, for us to become educated gamblers we need to see the worst in ourselves.

Going through majority of the gamblers introduction to gambling could've happened by some coincidence and for fun. With time the understanding about gambling differs. In simple, people don't spend at the beginning. They prefer playing on demo platforms and games that allow to accumulate fake money. People keeps gambling using this fake money/tokens and at some point decides why don't we try.

Further this thought lands them into gambling and starts with small bets and further goes high with time based on the won/loss. When won, they think of making good profit and spend big. Exactly! And it's becoming tiring. Honestly, no matter how you change the language, it's still the same message you are trying to pass across so nothing new. I think we all know that it would be a stupid decision to blow away money set aside for something else, hence the need to gamble responsibly.

Maybe I’m a definition of a gambler who cannot afford to spend a lot more than $10 in one bet. As a guy who lives in a 3rd world country, I have my own boundaries where I am afraid to gamble even more than the limit.

Years ago I was broke when I even borrowed little money from my friend just to gamble. I’m guilty of it because of my situation and my future back then was uncertain.

But at least right now I can afford to put some little amount that I can afford losing to gamble in any platform, especially my favorite Crash game.

That's not a frugal gambler, you're explain about normal gambler where they only need to use amount that they can afford to lose and gamble for fun.

Frugal gambler means you will not spend a lot money in gambling, so even you can afford to lose $500, you only spend $50 because you bet with the lowest amount to gamble. Maybe if you gamble in dice game, you might only bet 1 satoshi lol.

That's a horrible story and I thought people only compromise their funds, not others when they are carried away to play more even though it's not making sense anymore to gamble the last money they had. I never thought someone could even spend their children's money just to fill the void of their addictions. well, that's the reason why you should really consider stopping when things are not right anymore when you play because the more you insist on staying, the more it gets worse and you might go to do the same scenario as the others.

I sort of disagree with you because if you playing entirely for fun, then you cannot take it seriously. Have you forgotten that the gambling industry is worth billions of dollars? If you play for fun, you might not know the importance of discipline, seriousness and commitment and this is not how to survive in a multi billion dollar industry. You can catch fun while playing but it should never be the driving force for venturing into gambling.

I have always been an advocate of developing a strategy that integrates, risk management, style of play, winning targets and when to stop playing. If you have developed this system and follow it religiously, the fun will come naturally because it will take away the pain of loosing beyond budget.

By the way, what other fun is greater than having huge and winnings? With the money, you can get all the fun in the world!

Or simply don’t engage on any gambling activity if you can’t afford to lose money due to your family needs or you have no self control since you knew it to yourself if you can handle gambling or not.

Gambling is not a requirements that needs a dedication to allocate money on regular basis just to have fun. that's what responsible gamblers do. they have consistently allocated their gambling capital. because gambling is a habit or hobby that is quite expensive to do regularly.
many of the gamblers who have no control over their finances are bound to end up very badly. I also see it happen to my friends. telling them may be too late, and when they realize their loss. that will be the best way to admonish them to play appropriately based on our financial capabilities.

Everyone knows how to do it with gambling, there's no need to teach because this kind of thing keeps repeating itself in different threads.

Well gambling is for fun but they are only looking for finances here so it is a foolishness especially spending money that should be used for other things such as education or other needs, people who are too hopeful means they are addicted.
I know what to do with gambling, so it doesn't cause any problems for me.

It's not easy and it will take time before we realize that it's safer to play to have fun but the temptation to make money is always there, you will only realize it once you lose a lot of money but if you keep making money or you have positive results you will keep trying to make money.

Experience is still the best teacher you just cannot teach yourself to have fun while you are just starting the temptation is strong and it will pull your mindset to try to make money when I was starting out I wanted to have fun but the lure to make money pull me to change my mindset, I have to revert to my mindset to just have fun before I lose a lot of money.

The problem nowadays is that most people do not start gambling for fun but as a way to evade stress and the difficulties of life in our time.Sure the struggle is real and most people start gambling in the first place to just escape this stress,sadness and boredom that these people have with their lives not being able to make ends to the end of the month and being in a constant loop of what most people call a rat race.The problem then is normal to aggravate because the level of stress of this people keeps increasing when they are losing more money and nowadays gambling is a serious problem for the society.

Everyone knows that basically gambling is for entertainment, but sometimes people use this industry to make money, I know several people who make gambling as their living and they have succeeded this far. There's nothing wrong with their goals as long as they can manage the risks they have and are aware of the dangers of gambling for a living. There have been more than a few threads or discussions here that have similar main points.

Addicted gamblers are never playing for fun, they are playing for the rush that comes when you take risk and the suspense of winning big or losing it all. Also the reason why "Max Bet" exists in so many casinos. Anyway, it is difficult for them to actually practice a bankroll management or set up a weekly/monthly quota for betting.

They will try to chases losses and make more, the only way to stop the vicious cycle is to shut yourself off from these sites and accept the losses while trying to earn and make it up.
