But One of the set back for Bitcoin adoption is the lack of proper awareness about Bitcoin and the stereotyped opinion of most newbies in Bitcoin that make Bitcoin look like a get-rich-quick scheme, this assumption about Bitcoin has made many frustrated when their investment/holdings in bitcoin go down during a bear market.
Yep. Sadly, some people invest in Bitcoin because they are influenced by a sweet story from someone who succeed to be rich by investing in Bitcoin. Those people don't care about their knowledge related to Bitcoin, they are in hurry to invest because they want to succeed as well. They just realize that investing in Bitcoin isn't so easy after they bought Bitcoin and hold it for several days or weeks. Usually, these types of people are easy to panic once there is a huge FUD, they do panic selling and exit immediately.
Well, it is very pity that many people aren't aware of their knowledge and don't focus on learning before investing, they only focus on counting the possible profits to get if Bitcoin price can increase significantly. They don't realize that Bitcoin price is unpredictable.
I have tried my best to educate people around me on the basic concept of Bitcoin and make them aware of the advantages and disadvantages of Bitcoin adoption and how best to minimize the risk associated with Bitcoin, to attain some level of self-satisfaction through Bitcoin.
In what way do you educate people?
TBH, I am still difficult to choose a proper way to educate people around me. Most of them aren't interested in Bitcoin because they heard too many negative issues about Bitcoin. Even, some people think investing in Bitcoin is the same as gambling.
