Network Hash dramatically increased the last days from 270 to 430 MH/s (DIFF: 15 to 27 B)
Price came down a lot and a little bit up again but still far away from the peak we had weeks ago.

What is this? Maybe the mobile mining beta?

The coin is good, but the price is still too high to buy. I'll wait when bitcoin again falls and with him all the alts. That's when I plan to buy ELECTRONEUM.
I think you are a little bit slow off the mark, why didn't you buy the other day when the price was down? It might not drop that low again soon or ever, what are you waiting for ETN $.01, not going to happen mate

Haha, yeah the best price to buy into ETN was probably when it was in the 600 mark a few days before you posted that.  Like they've said above, it's cheap now, pick up a few and ride the wave.  From the previous announcement, I dont think we'll see it this cheap again in the future.

If anyone truly believes in the project just get into it and hodl for the new developments and releases coming down the line soon.
ok in less than 12 hours we are up 10% and in the last 24hours the price has moved 0.01c
but overall the price per token at the moment is incredibly good value.

Here is a snippet from the recent mail sent by Richard Ells on the "price"

Electroneum Price
For those of you who keep an eye on the price of Electroneum you'll notice that whilst it has
taken a hit like most cryptocurrencies, it has been really interesting to watch the levels of trade.
When Electroneum was soaring in price the volume was high, $20m or $30m USD in a day was not unusual.
If you take a look at the trade volumes now, you'll see they are very low in comparison.
This is a great indicator (in my opinion) of the strength of the Electroneum project.
For the most part, people that are involved have not dumped,
but said "Hold on. Let's not forget that all those things that excite us about the project are nearly ready for launch.
Lets wait and see if they really can be the first cryptocurrency that actually attains mass adoption, like they say they will.".

i agree, they are making huge waves and progress with getting their name out as THE mobile Crypto.  Booking a stand at the mobile convention will hopefully do wonders.  So glad I bought into this coin in the ICO.

the price was very low a few days ago. why did not you buy that day? I do not understand what you write here. how long do you want to wait? until christmas 2022? The courses were already so good that almost all have bought.

Every single coins is crashing right now. i think btc will go for 6k. so just wait and then start to buy

It's about to hit $6000 now.  I honestly dont think that this is the bottom, we might see $5500 today at the rate it's been declining.

Well, I was totally wrong lmao. Honestly did not see BTC being back to $7700~ again so quickly today, what a wild ride it's been the past few days.

I think it's good that you were wrong. that's better. but we do not know what will happen in the next few hours or days. all people are still very tense and are also afraid to buy again because they have lost a lot before

I think the fact the US government confirmed they won't be banning it, and want to embrace it helped that.. The marketcap went up something silly like 83billion after that.

There is still mining going on with Electroneum. The idea of the app is to bring cryptocurrency to the masses. I was totally into the idea at the ICO but all the delays really put me off. In theory, this is a cool idea. I really hope the team has overcome its growing pains and are able to pull this off for real.

Maybe this has been answered a million times already, but what are the minimum specs to actually mine with the mobile?
And would anyone recommend using a phone that a person is using in their normal daily activities, or should the phone for mining indeed be an old phone that is not on daily normal use?

Maybe mobile mining wont very effective method at all, but as an idea it seems very interesting Smiley

It really has been asked at least a million times. I will answer also so we can have a million answers to the same question to help balance it out.

Basically you are not actually mining. As long as a phone has Play Store (it will come to Apple store in the near future) and lets you download it then it will work, which will be for most, if not all Android phones.

It is just an app that will make it look like it is mining by simulating to give you the mining experience. How much you mine will depend on the specs of your phone as the app will look up what specs of your phone and based on that your hashrate (how fast you mine) will be determined. An example would be, you can expect an Samsung Galaxy S8 to mine more than say an S7 or S6.

Now keep in mind, there is no actual mining going on in the traditional sense, so it will not be using up much if hardly any at all of your phones resources. This means your phone will not get boiling hot and the battery will not get drained super quick. My guess would be it will just run in the background and use 1-3% of your battery life for the day. If it was real mining, your phone would be boiling hot and the battery would last probably about an hour.

It being simulated mining does not take anything away however. You still get Electroneum just like real miners do. Same result, just witout making your phone useless while doing so.  I hope this helps explain it further Smiley

Seems like a good answer to the absolute waste of power that current mining is using!

The beta testing is ongoing and from reactions from the community investors are mining atleast 1 ETN per 6 or so hours  Grin. I stand corrected. Hope it will go live soon to stop the fudders. HODLER
wow. 1 ETN  Grin  then you are rich in 580 years. It's good. Now I need three hundred phones and then I will be a millionaire.
$ 1000 energy and 200 tokens is very good. Now the course has to go to the moon  Grin  Grin

That is still about 100 coins per month and at price of 10 cents, that is 10 dollars, which is a lot! Actualy a lot more then my mobile subscription!

Realisticaly i think, the final revenue would be about a couple of dollars of free money and that is a big amount of money for any developing countries.

its mobile mining lives in every country, just ios? what about android?

Otherway around, it's not currently on the IOS store, but is on Android.  If you check the Google store for the official Electroneum app, it is built into that as part of the wallet.

it's not mining like you would with an ASIC or CPU, it's a simulation. The app benchmarks your phone, and rewards you periodically with the equivalent value in ETN from the available pool. The phones aren't actually processing any blocks.
