The whole pool is struggling for over 37 days to get a meagre 12.5 BTC?  Smiley

Could someone change the "14000 Th" in the OP? A difference in the order of a magnitude should justify that change.

the ticketing system seems to be dead, isn't sending any emails - and no responses.... raised two - no email notification of ticket number, no way to follow up.

My unpaid balance of 0.007 BTC has vanished - unpaid balance reset to zero over a week ago with no payout that I can see... I know it's not much - but I was 3ish months away from hitting the payment threshold (and was going to be the point I shut my poor old miner down) - but now I'm 14+ months away which may as well be a lifetime!

Not sure what to do with the ticket system apparently down....

EDIT: my sincere apologies, seems that for some reason a manual payout was done under my payment threshold on the 29th November, it's not showing on my status page - and my bitcoin client had run out of disk space and so wasn't showing the latest transactions :$ ... I guess then it's time to shut down my weedy 30Ghash miner.. Thanks wizkid057 and all at Eligius for the fun years of mining! Smiley

Hi wizkid057,
I sent you a personal message on the forum here because I was getting no reply via the http://eligius.st/support/ ticket submission system. I haven't gotten a response here either though. Can you send a reply to me next time you're here, or let me know how to get in touch to get support and clarification on my stats and the miners I have pointed at Eligius?

I appreciate an answer to this.  New and learning here.  I put some has power at your pool, but went to another pool and so left the pool.  I notice the BTC balance that I have has shrunk about 50% in a day or so.

Since a block hasn't been found for a while, way longer than since before I started mining, I gather that an unpaid balance will go down if I no longer mine here?  That's normal?

is there trigger for setting a higher worker diff. other than 1023.999

Diff is automatically determined based on hash rate and targets 16 shares per minute.  There are no real reasons to have to change it.

The diff you're seeing is actually 1024, as Eligius only uses difficulties that are powers of two.  Some software does the math on this incorrectly, and I believe the stratum protocol has an inherit flaw in this regard.

I may soon bump the minimum difficulty again to keep pace with the rising network difficulty, but I've not seen any real reasons for allowing user-specified difficulties.  Using a difficulty too high for your actual hash rate just increases variance and makes stats useless.

Only TCP for mining or web services is permitted on all Eligius IPs.

Edit: Also, mining is not permitted on "eligius.st" ... that is for the web server.  Use stratum.mining.eligius.st
it was the rig the failover pool was reporting over 21% invalids I don't know if religious has a mechanism to dump that garbage rig

I had a couple older antminers on the pool and now pointing them to one with an easier payout but I have a smaller ASIC at the pool which
is getting 30 gh/z which is much higher than it's rated as.  I have never used a "diff" command in any of my cgminer batch files and I'm wondering if I should use one here.  I'm getting shares rewarded 41%.  Is there something I can do to improve that?

I have been running a rental for months and today I am getting a to many bad shares from eligius and forced to failover pool Huh
editOne or more of your pools is reporting an excessive amount of rejected shares. In order to assist the failover, we've temporarily disabled this pool. If you've resolved the issue, press the 'Reset' button below

Not seeing anything wrong on this end.  Huh

is the pool down

Everything looks fine on this end.

As for a manual payout, going to try and get that done tonight.  (Sorry, didn't catch that post earlier... sometimes I don't get notifications from this forum... no idea why.)
