I was grabbing some DNS domain names and everything was working fine. Fees are super low (less than 1 cent) and you can reserve the domains almost forever (no need to take care as much as with Namecoin). And guys, Emercoin has .coin domains.

Hi. The project is still alive. You can check activity in the Telegram group. Admins are active and answer user's questions every day. The group is growing by 10-15 people daily. Also, users register hundreds of names via NVS (check the explorer). GitHub activity is small, but still there. This project exists mainly to provide blockchain services. And the services works.

This coin and what it enables is way ahead of its time.
But I will ask here for the developers or people here with the Emercoin community because I need Emercoin specific info. We have our .lib name resolving but there is still the warning about a non secure site when accessing the page and we now are going to install the blockchain SSL option.This is something 100% new so you know how that is.But when you try to follow the instructions to set SSL, Manage Names, SSL... there is an error message always because openssl is not installed.So thus means Openssl is not included, understandable. So the thing that is lacking is how to fix this in detail for Windows, maybe need to save openssl in a directory?

A year ago Emercoin made a great announcement ... in the search of plenty of creative ideas in order to boost the development of Emercoin and the Emercoin blockchain, sadly their thread (and linked to that the payout) was hardly neglected after the ideas came in:
