by d way ,I just wanted to know whats the staking rate of interest of this coin , As it is POS.
Lets example if I have 1000 coin how much I will get per day or per week any response would be appreciated.

You need 5000 and more coins by one transaction for POS mining.
Your EMERCOINs must be 30 day old (minimum) for start POS mining.

My Emercoin wallet says "WARNING: Checkpoint is too old. Wait for block chain to download, or notify developers of the issue."
It also says my wallet has 0 balance while the transactions says I do. My wallet version is v0.7.3emc.

No. They have already admitted it was them. You're right to be suspicious however - everything these guys do is suspicious, like working for & promoting scams like Hashcoins & Polybius for example, or telling users here that they have business offices in United States, Spain, Germany, Ukraine and Russia when they clearly don't. Read the threads.

Do you have any update on the unprocessed payouts from the Emercoin Idea contest of 2016? There are several participants still waiting for the undistributed EMC of the contest.
I personally have as well contributed to the contest (https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.14419373) and have been waiting as well. I reached out several times to the Emercoin team but never got any response which shines quite a bad light on Emercoin as a whole. They do not seem to care much about their community as well as not realizing their promises.
