People are mining this silver coin, what's the harvest? I've been paying attention to this coin for a long time. I don't know if it's a good time to buy it now.

I am new here, and Ive invested half of my free money in Emercoin, so I want to know what happens, cause in official channel I am just found information that old owner of twitter.com/emercoin is big investor and he created @emercoin, before the team created official, also as owner of t.me/emercoin_official says that he was team member or someone who is well known to team.

Look pls,

The last discussion I had with the rest of the team was a while back - I asked them who owned the @Emercoin account, and nobody on our team knew who did. I have always used @Emercoin_EMC for official team tweets and news.

If you know who the owner is, please feel free to put him in touch with me.

So why you retweeted cybersquatter's post before you got control of @emercoin and then delete it, for tell people this bullshit?
or someone asked you to do that?
http://oi67.tinypic.com/24xib0h.jpg

I retweeted it because it was a positive post. Normally that account just retweets what we tweet from @Emercoin_EMC.

When I originally reached out to the owner of the @Emercoin account I was trying to figure out who he/she was, and if they would grant our team access to share the account or use it. The discussion did not go far solely because of an English to Russian language barrier. As I said though, this was many months prior.

I'm waiting to hear back from the rest of the team to find out what happened with that account. When I attempt to view it, it shows as suspended.

@emercoin

Hooray, we regained control of the account!

Previously, the @emercoin account was seized by a cybersquatter who spread false information about us.

Hey admin, are you relly going to take his account?

https://twitter.com/emercoin/status/947819848595210241

This isn't honest, you have to solve with him, as I heard he have millions of coins. It also doesn't give trust to your project!

I was not involved in that. The team account we have been using is the @Emercoin_EMC account.

I previously messaged the owner of the @Emercoin account. He was not hostile to me, but he would not tell me who he was and always retweeted what I wrote (which was good) however this was months ago and I have had no involvement with the owner of that account since.

I will check with the other team members to see what has happened on Twitter.

I've clicked the button - Reset options.
Does it mean that I've completely lost all my coins ?

Need help. The balance equals 0 after clicking on that button.

I didn't create any backup wallet.

EDITED.
---------------------------------

It looks like I had set a different data directory and resetting the options cleared that setting.
Configure the
Code:
-datadir=
helps me. Grin

EMC has not seen a new high, which will have a chance, because the recent market push a lot of coins z high price...

Although it has not yet reached the new high point, it is at a high level after all. Now buying is still bad for investment, because maybe when it will go down.

5 features making EmerDNS the only truly decentralized DNS

In this article we’ll see how EmerDNS took Namecoin’s ingenious idea and brought it further to create a much more powerful decentralized domain name system.

We love Namecoin. Actually, we created our main asset, the Name-Value Storage, from the source code powering Namecoin’s domain name system. But we took the idea a bit further, making the NVS a database for all kinds of data and thus a variety of distributed services.

One of the first of such services was EmerDNS, a full-fledged distributed domain name system. With attacks on conventional domain name systems becoming increasingly frequent, the Internet needed something to protect them from criminals and overly curious authorities alike — and we came to the rescue.

EmerDNS made it possible to create reliable and stable private data networks with decentralized management — safe from service denials or spoofing. In EmerDNS, only the owner can manage or remove a domain record, or any other NVS record held in their wallet.

As the record is located in the blockchain, its copies are available to each Emer node. Thus, users can search for records locally without querying external servers. This makes domain name resolution faster and more reliable. And more secure as well: Neither your ISP nor anyone else will know which sites you visit — especially if you use HTTPS.

For those of you who are already familiar with Namecoin and its .bit domain, here are the top 5 reasons to switch to EmerDNS:

1 — Several domain zones instead of one
2 — Configurable lease duration
3 — Deleting records
4 — Built-in RFC 1035 DNS server
5 — Managing subdomains
