Yeah because it is actually so strange to see someone going out and marrying someone 20 years older than himself...

He is 39 and she is 64. The difference is much more than 20 years. And he fell in love with her, when he was 15 and she was 40. Such a guy is unfit to be the president of any nation, much less France.

But is perfectly ok in the Trump family , right?

shhhhhh
Don't use arguments against Trumtards, it makes them feel uncomfortable xD

And I still don't understand how it is linked in any way to ones ability to rule a country...
Theoretically, this does not affect the process of governance, but if the leader is subservient to his wife, he will not be able to manage the country. He can't be a leader at all. Psycho President can always predict features of his reign.
So now having an older wife means you're subservient?
I see the arguments are getting better and better...
When a man lives with an older woman he psycho child. The woman also cares about him as a child and this imposes a definite imprint on the character of the spouses. The child always tries to consult with the "mother".
Sure, and when the man is older it's the same thing but as a dad figure.
In fact the only sane relationships are when the 2 have the same age. They can maybe have 1 year of difference but more and it's just a psychotic relationship. Roll Eyes

That guy is talking about east european border nations - some of them are still 3rd world status because communism wasnt that cool in the end.
Don't know where you're getting your knowledge about world economy, but there are no nations of a 3rd world status in the European Union, not even close.
In third world countries, or postcolonial countries, citizens usually have to survive on less than $100 a month. Wages in the EU start with €400 a month, which as you can see is completely incomparable.
I don't know European countries where the salary is 400 euros. The minimum wage in Germany, 1080 euros. In poor countries, and lower prices. Should not be considered wages, and purchasing power. In Germany, you will not live on 100 euros a month.
AFAIK, Bulgaria and Romania are in the €400 range, with Lithuania and Hungary being just €100 above that. I'm aware that purchasing power might be different, but they are all in the Union with open borders. You can jump in a car, do some shopping in a neighboring country and be back in less than 2 hours. PP line gets blurred when the borders open and on one side you have people earning twice more than you do.
I wasn't talking about the minimum but the average.

What does this even mean? Do you subscribe to the Freudian notion that every man's secret goal is to have sex with his mother, and that he is secretly jealous of his own father? I think there are plenty of issues with Macron, such as his being a part of the core banking system which Bitcoin seeks to be an alternative to, but his spouse is not a big one.

Remember the US elections?

Remember, our socialist media, constantly confirming polls that showed Hillary ahead?

The silent majority are waking.

Right now, Le Pen is 28 points behind Macron as per the latest opinion polls. Even if there is a significant reverse Bradley effect (as the case with the rust belt states such as Wisconsin in the 2016 POTUS election), it will be impossible for her to overcome this margin.

We all said the same thing about Trump when placed like the Huffington post were coming out with reports that gave Trump a 1.8 percent chance of winning the Presidencey, though I do see the difference here as it is opinion polling. Trump was also down in all the polls and I simply think this was because some people were just afraid to say they were supporting Trump until they went to the voting booths and showed their support in the ballot box.

I don't know what's going to happen, but I do think that if she does lose which she has a good chance of losing I think it's going to be much closer then we expected to happen. Or at least, what the media expected to happen.

There is a huge difference between election in France and in the United States.

First, based on the french system Trump would have lost.

Secondary , the difference in polls was not even closer to what is right now in France.
Trump needed a few thousands votes in some key states and that's all.
The best example is Michigan won by 11 000 votes, 47,5 to 47, 2.
Le Pen needs a few millions that have to come out of somewhere but from where nobody knows

In the US you win a few states by 10 votes and you lose some other by millions and you can still win.
That is not how things work in France.

Yeah because it is actually so strange to see someone going out and marrying someone 20 years older than himself...

We don't know for sure. There are left 5 days until the final results. But I think whoever is the next president of France she/he will do the same things like Trump/Clinton. If Lepen win, the only thing we are actually wining is time.

Strike is one of the most effective means possible for a group of professionals within a certain industry to show that they don't agree with a decision and that they oppose it. Without the right to exercise free speech, be it through strikes, protests or even social media posts, governments would be able to create legislation at will, with no regard for the people they are supposed to serve. Going on strike is most definitely a plan of action, and it is indeed a way of expression. Going on strike isn't "hiding in the crowd", it's fighting for your rights.

Strikes are OK, as long as it is restricted to once per year or once every two years. But where I live, the factory workers are striking almost the every other day. You know what is going to happen in the end. The owner will close down the factory, and these clowns will be left jobless.

Strikes don' thappen if everything is fine and the boss is fair.
People don't go on strike for fun. It's not fun at all to spend days doing nothing but losing time and money. Most workers can't afford to go on strike for long.

If people go on strike it's that there is a real problem in the company. 95% of small companies never went to strike simply because the boss and the employees talk to each other.

You go on strike for what purpose? If you want to change something then you must have a plan of action. I see you only have slogans and nothing more. It seems to me that strike for you is a way of expression. This is a chance when you can break the law and hide in the crowd.

Not true at all.
No one goes on strike for pleasure... It takes time, money and isn't really a good way to have good relationships with your boss...

People go on strike when they have no other ressort. When it's either going on strike or seeing people fired.
And in most cases the plan of action is rather simple... Stop feeding the shareholder and start caring for those who actually work...

Macron has no merit. He's just an opportunist. I wish there could be some dose of meritocracy in french politics, but I'm dreaming. Marine Le Pen is where she is because of her father, while Macron was a nobody 3 years ago. He only got famous when the president choose him to become minister. He's young and bullish. I'm not sure he is what France needs, but frankly I don't care. I think that country is doomed. Every time I'm going there, there are strikes and street blockades...

Doomed yeah,
The only developped country that still tries to resist capitalism without limit.
Yeah we go on strike. Cause we don't see why we should be paid less and less while every company is growing and every share holder is earning more and more Wink

I don't know whether that will happen with Le Pan as well. But in the first round, she got even less votes than what the opinion polls predicted. I am unsure whether this will change during the second round.
