Traditional futures exchanges don’t accept crypto as collateral, which means you need to transfer in fiat for participation. Many newer or alt coins are only listed on a few exchanges, requiring traders to register with and post collateral across multiple venues.

Estimated supply is 1 billion EMX.

The EMX (EverMarkets Exchange) token is used by all parties on EverMarkets. Traders use it for collateral purposes when trading futures. Margin syndicates use it to lend to traders to earn a fee. Contract creators use it to back the futures they create. Fees earned by the margin syndicate and contract creator are paid in EMX.

I can only advise everybody to stay away from this exchange.
They had a perpetual oil contract, which was poorly designed (intransparent and not following the real market).
All of a sudden they just halted the trading of this perpetual contract and are offering all customers that were long a settlement at 0.56 USD (while oil is trading at 14 USD).
Paying more than that would bankrupt the company, their CEO said, as they did many mistrades and their company accounts got liquidated at CME.
Stay away, chances you will never get your money back are high.

Market orders do affect the auction price. Evermerket choose the volume-maximizing price (using the last price in case of a tie), and market orders can affect what price this would be.
