This has been something I have found difficult to decide on . When this bill run ends in a couple of months time should I sell all my VET and XRP then buy back in when the market turns bearish until the next bullrun?

Or do I only sell a portion of what I have and hold the rest for another 4 years. Reason I am asking is could XRP and VET continue to rise once the bull run ends ? I obviously don’t want to sell all my tokens to find they are continuing to rise in a bear market

What are your thoughts ?

I think after the bull run ends, of course all the altcoins will fall slowly. If you hold assets, of course you have to wait for the long term. The price of XRP will continue to grow in the future, but price changes still occur. Dumps are unavoidable.

VET and XRP is not what I'd advise to have in your portfolio. No matter what market season we're in. Get yourself some BTC and some other alts but not XRP - that's my opinion anyway.

Also, we're not in a bear season yet. How can we be in one when BTC is 64K+ and alts are popping off everywhere???

Sell what you think is the right portion to be sold. What matters is your satisfaction of what you sell and what you hold and as well as what you buy.

I mind you to take some profits while planning to hold those for long term.
For the price, everyone has a stop-loss price in their hearts. Remember to stop the loss when the price of the coin drops sharply.
There are a lot of coins going to death, and if the loss is not stopped in time, more money may be lost.
Sometimes people will stick to their choice and believe it even if the coin is dead.
It is better to focus on Bitcoin.
Stop loss is needed.

But you also need to take profits when it's necessary too. Learn from the mistakes of others that didn't took their profits when they can during the past bull runs.

And while we're still there although there's a small correction that has happened, we're still up.

You should not look at this situation as the Bull season is over not. You should know how to come out in numbers that satisfy you. Because no one knows when the Bull season will end. If the knew, everyone would become a millionaire and there would be no one left to invest in the market. For example, you have deposited $1000, and when this money is $10000, satisfies you. In this case, you should not be greedy to earn money from the market. Otherwise, you will inevitably lose money.
For me, if you are already satisfied with the current profits that you are making, then sell them as much as you can. We don't know exactly what will happen next or an unexpected dump will occur so grab the chance while its there in  front of you. Do not be greedy. Sell them and make profits. And then start buying at the dips and set new target goal price. In that way, you will feel inner peace.

I have been here in the market for long and so i know the feeling losing just because you are overthinking that the profits will still go high and so i ended up being greedy and literally lose all my expected profits. I learned from it and won't do it again for sure.

You don't sell everything because market just crashed as this could only mean two things,  either you playing in the hands of the whales, probably manipulators trying to win cheap coins off the market or it could simply be a correction.  But if you have to sell ,sell.. but the rules of crypto remain...buy low and sell high so see this as an opportunity to buy the dip and sell when the price of bitcoin recovers and its at its high.
Selling does not require any specific time, it's really up to you, you can sell when the market is bullish, and you can also sell when you see a market dump because if you think it will continue to dump, you can save from losing more. The most important thing is you'll be able to buy back again when the price is at the dip, it's just a simple process, buy at dip sell at the peak, it's not complicated if we are knowledgeable on the market behavior.

For shitcoin yes, sell everything without wasting your time. During correction moment your holdings will become negative value before finishing your tea break. Sell every shitcoin, buy & hold Bitcoin, ETH. Bitcoin Bull & ETH Bull's next wave is coming soon, I will not surprise if I will see $100K bitcoin's price within next December. Just think and realized by yourself, how much money you lost by investing in shitcoin and how many opportunities you missed by not investing in Bitcoin & ETH, that's all.

I think everything will have an impact when the bear market comes so there is almost no chance that the coin will go up, maybe some newly released coins will go up but will immediately go down because of the impact of the bear market.
depending on your choice, if you are confident and choose to hold your coin for a few years until the next bull appears, or if you are in doubt you can wait until the deepest deep and buy at that time.
if new coins are affected by a dump that occurs in the market. of course, it would be very difficult to recover its value. that's because their market is not very strong compared to some altcoins that already have a strong market. when it dumps, we can see a quick fix.
but it all comes back to the analysis done for each asset. and it also affects our beliefs.

This month is not a good time to sell VET and XRP, you need to save coins in recent months, currently both coins are not normal in the market, even for their current selling price they are not in your favor at all.

XRP and VET have a bright future, but both are not in good shape at the moment in the market, even for altcoins they both have more opportunities than other coins in the coming year, you need to be patient and wait for that moment to come, instead of wasting coins that you have.
- Both of these projects are probably out of harmony with this year's bull market where the list of extreme growth doesn't have their names and besides, XRP members can say that the score will be extremely bad this year as the latest information about them has not been revealed, it is extremely likely that the SEC and they are still having discussions and investigations. If our buying is not in negative value, maybe try to think about selling a part because their quintessence and physical strength are not much, it's hard to raise an uprising flag

The bear market is inevitable, the best thing you should do right now is to take profit and wait for the bear market to come then you buy up the coin and get more of it, during bear markets no coin pumps literally every altcoin on the market would be bleeding badly, your favourite altcoin might even dump - 90%, you would do yourself alot of good by taking profits now cause you may never know when the bear market will kick in and you might lose the profit you have already gained.

Nah keep stacking.  Go in intervals and dca down if need be, keep stacking sats no matter what.  In the end you will be sitting fine.  Trying to time markets is what gets everyone burned and earns very few a good deal.  Missed opportunities, tax ramifications, etc.

Sell before bull run ends or face the consequences, if you aren't planning for a long term hold it's wiser to keep taking profits little by little but if you are like me that's ready for long term hold then make sure you choose your coins wisely, vechain, cardano, BnB, Neo, Polkadot, avalanche, solana are good for long term hold even if BTC falls down to 20k again, the choice is yours OP

This decision should be taken by only yourself. It's your money , your choice. For why all decision be taken by yourself. btw for me I think always if I want to hold for long term (not for trading) then always I should transfer the token to my external wallet and keep them secure until to meet my target. Because when I try to make some profit by sell and buy back I always lose and become panic to recover the lose. thus after some time or days I feel I did mistake by starting trading them. lol

I will also suggest to do that until you don't know if the coin move near 100%.

If you are doubtful about the bullishness of VET and XRP you should take out your seed money and the rest you can hold. In that way, your risk remains zero. It's not easy for anyone to identify when the market turns bearish or make just corrections so it depends on you whether to sell or hold. If you have trust on your holdings then I would say hold it.

This may be due to the fact that now many traders expect a further decline in the price of bitcoin, and with it a decline will follow for all coins. In this case, selling XRP and VET at the current price may be the best option, which will allow you to buy them at a lower price later.

You must first settle if the bull run really ends and the bear is now the trend in the market, you can sell a portion but always retain some coins in your portfolio not because bear is the trend in the market that does not mean a coin will not get pump, even in the bear market there are coins that get a pump when there are updates on their platform or there is a partnership, it's not a good idea to dump everything just because you are following the rule Buy Low and Sell High.

Unrealized profit is never yours, I loss over $60k from the bear that struck and took bitcoin to $28k,most of my coins were defy coins some are yet to hit ATH, what I Know decide to do is to be taking profits as it comes and not wait until the worst happen. I have a place I keep my USDT, USDC, BUSD and as a rule, the stablecoins don't come back to the market again. I will have to manage what is already available in the market, if I can't then I am not a discipline trader/investor.

Selling everything and then buying again at a cheaper price on a bear market is a great option. If you sell some, you will definitely lose some of the estimates that already exist. You have to be sure of your choice. I sold all my tokens at that time, without regret because I had made a profit although not big but it was still a profit.
Maybe you can sell for 30%-50% when the price increase higher and try to buy back when the price is down so you will have a chance to have more amounts than before. It is not a problem if you sell your token at once, especially if the price can soar and leave the tokens and I called that hit and run strategy. Some traders use that strategy to make as much money in the short term while searching for the other coins/tokens to make another profit.

The traders who do that are just aiming for the tokens they got from bounty campaigns and leave without buying back. If an investor believes the project will be successful, they will buy back at the price where they also see at the bottom. VET is really a good project because if you have a ton of it, you earn passive income with VTHOR.

We don't really see when the bullrun will end but seeing that the price had soar high already which you could conclude to be the overbought level, you can already sell and wait for the price to be dumped later.
Yes, it is because that token will get dump once the token is released at the market, making bounty hunters sell the token as fast they can so they can profit. They can buy back after the dump because the price can be at the lowest price and sometimes, the price will reach below the ICO price.

The bull run will come again after this bear trend this week so we must prepare ourselves for the coming. Maybe this week and the next month will be the right time for a crypto to rise and give us a big chance to make a big profit.
