This has been something I have found difficult to decide on . When this bill run ends in a couple of months time should I sell all my VET and XRP then buy back in when the market turns bearish until the next bullrun?

Or do I only sell a portion of what I have and hold the rest for another 4 years. Reason I am asking is could XRP and VET continue to rise once the bull run ends ? I obviously don’t want to sell all my tokens to find they are continuing to rise in a bear market

What are your thoughts ?

In my opinion, the bull run is not over yet. At the moment we have a correction that is normal in every financial market. I think that the correction is ending and in the next weeks and maybe even the next few months we will observe further increases in the prices of all cryptocurrencies. Of course you will do whatever you want, but in my opinion it is not the best moment for selling anything.

Keep an eye on the market because XRP might increase in price again because today the XRP price is $0.9 or still below $1. My advice, specifically XRP is better if you hold on because right now the market is in a good moment to buy not sell, because coins like XRP are likely to increase in price again.
what made you think that XRP will increase again? yeah it will but this soon? or will take time once again and goes back to 50 cents level?
What I think about XRP is that it is a good coin with a level of popularity that almost all investors are familiar with. Then the XRP marketcap is still superior to VET and there are many other things that you can see the data on various sites that inform about crypto. In your own opinion, how about XRP opportunities by taking into account current market conditions. Or you don't need to know?
Do not bother with XRP since you are basically wasting your time, bitcoin more than tripled its previous all time high that it reached in 2017, and for what I remember XRP only reached half of that value during the current bull run, so it will take bitcoin to reach 130k before XRP reaches its previous all time high, so forget about such coin, investing in bitcoin which is the best coin in the market is a better choice than such altcoin, and obviously there are also other altcoins that could deserve your attention and your investment instead of XRP.

@Natalim at the end of the day it's all about implementing your trading strategy as per the market movements. The only crypto I hodl is BTC , the rest of the alt coins I frequently buy and sell in portions  once it reaches my desired price point.
Bitcoin is a good coin to hold at this time especially when you have many of it. Do anybody know when the bull market is going to end? No one some I still want the op to have a good reason why he want to sell all his coin at the end of the bull market. Any person that thinks the bull market has ended can choose to sell their own share of the coin without having to think twice.

The bull trend in the market have turned bearish. How long this trend will continue can't be predicted. Right now it isn't the time to sell, because the market is in the state of fluctuation. In my view the present situation is to acquire more and more volume of cryptocurrencies, because over the falling months there is more chance of transition to bull trend.

for those who have seen this market many times over. this is just one part where your patience and belief will be tested. for many smart investors, this is the time to accumulate valuable coins that have high chance to go up once the market starts going up again. it may not be tomorrow or in the next few weeks, but if a user can hold for longer time up until he got his target profits, then it is all worth it. selling everything is really up to the user. he can ask all the people he knows but it all boils down to his final decision.

That's the basic principle in investing, always see the opportunity as this market is very volatile, it may pump and dump hard, and you should always see the opportunity in the different market situations. I know some would panic but for sure they will learn if they consider bitcoin as the future of money.

Bull run will end and it's normal as it's part of the cycle.

Of course it can, especially for VET.
If im being you i will selling parts on the way up and buy more when it significantly dips (>20%). The higher the price, the more I sell. But I sell never more than 50%, these are for the long run. Mostly I'm building up more coins but sometimes I take some fiat out.
If you have to sell do it for many times and the same as when you're about to buy.

You decide and think first before selling everything because you might forget that everything that happens in the market recovers so fast. Like if you've sold, you're likely to see it recover again.

If you see that you're already good with your profits then there's no problem to sell in my opinion, wherein if you achieve your target price as well it's all good probably,, indeed the bull run was really impressive this year and for sure mostly of us here are profitable.. It's always good to be true, i mean dump if it's needed because it's not a good decision to be honest to expect more despite of the next situation, although there some analyst saying bearish will not the same before, we must take the opportunity while it's not late and buy again when market is ready to bump again.  Cheesy
Agreed but traders are greedy by nature, obviously they want to obtain more profits as that is the whole purpose to trade, however on their pursuit of more profits they many not realize that they are taking risks that are too high and that is when things get complicated, after all on the short term it is likely their strategy works and they can earn money by taking more risk, but eventually the risk of bankruptcy reaches levels that are too high and they lose more money than what they earned because of it.

I think when all the coins are at their peak this is a good time to sell. maybe some people think, the price will go up again but it all passed and the price of the coin started to fall and regretted it. what if you are a true holder you will definitely buy it back at a cheap price and wait for it to come back up even though it takes a long time. This is just my opinion, and everyone is entitled to their opinion.

Selling everything and waiting for the lowest possible price to buy is always the right strategy. I was once in love with some cryptos and forever could not resist losing. The amount that I already have has decreased many times. Instead of suffering and wasting time in a downtrend, the best way is to wait for the lowest possible price to buy and wait for the bull market to heat up again.

My advice, specifically XRP is better if you hold on because right now the market is in a good moment to buy not sell, because coins like XRP are likely to increase in price again.

It will increase if the market will bounce back, currently, XRP is already down by 14%, and this is what I'm saying that when Bitcoin falls, the entire market will fall as well. I have a feeling that once again, bitcoin will drop below $40k, and that will result in heavy losses for altcoins, and this could be the end of the bull run.

Bitcoin always influenced the value of every alts, though we see almost all the coins inside the market are in red time to assess and pick the right project that you believe that will bounce back much earlier when Bitcoin starts to show good another good run.

You need specifically to research each asset that you are eyeing for your investment. If Bitcoin continues to fall, make sure that you have enough spare, dip means big opportunities.

Both short and long position are okay if you buy your asset with your own knowledge. Keep in mind that the cycle between bull and bear is working together.

In making decisions, many things must be considered and not in urgent conditions. When the market is down, selling is not a solution but being patient by holding the existing coins. XRP coin that has a good value. Of course, in making decisions on XRP coins, you have to think further than end up with regrets.

I remember the feeling of 2018 when cryptos collapsed over time. Any altcoins that I buy are severely discounted. It is best to sell everything you can and put your money into USDT or cash and wait for the opportunity to buy back. Trading or holding during a downtrend only wastes your time and money.

we almost have the same treatment to our coins but Mine i HODL Bitcoin and Ethereum. those 2 remains for long term while some of my altcoins are now moving here and there.
buying when i think the price is low and selling when my 20-40% desired income reached.

Its true that when bitcoin is declining, altcoins are following. Hence its not unusual to see the altcoins to have a correction since btc is moving the same way too. But I dont think the price of btc will drop further to $30k so its not the end of bullrun. This is just another correction but in the coming days or weeks it will bounce back. Well I'd like to stay positive because I used to seeing the market turning up and down.

If I were you I wouldn't sell all of the cryptos I own, rather sell some of them to get my profits and hold the remaining because I feel the bull run is going to continue for quite some time now.
I think the same as you. There is no need to sell all our coins, just sell some coins that are already increasing at good prices to sell. For some coins that the prices are still decreasing, it is better to keep holding them. The sign for the upcoming uptrend is still there, I am also confident that the bullrun isn't over yet. What we must do is to be patient waiting for the beginning of the next pump of all crypto coins, especially for Bitcoin. When Bitcoin is increasing significantly again, all altcoins probably will increase their values as well.

exactly and with the current market dip i think it's a great opportunity for people to buy some more fundamentally strong cryptos and reap profits when the market rises.

The volume of crypto today and the amount of people riding in crypto specially in the NFT games is just enough to liftup the whole crypto currency as a whole. Investors of stockmarkets are dumping coin to set bags in crypto.
