whats happend with EOS price? Why it went up? any news not currently visible.. Not sure if it is smart to hold or wait lower prices..

Testnet today, and Mike Novogratz mentioned EOS on CNBC, which means he probably has a position in EOS.  EOS ICO distribution is also more than half over.

What do you guys think eos will do after the test network tonight any price predictions?

I personally expect no changes, the price depends on hypes in publics much more than on technical achievements

Reason why a lot of people don't invest is because they don't believe it's possible what they're trying to achieve and they're showing empty promises. I think it'll attract more investors once positive results are announced, along with the promised features.

right, but to show positive results a testnet is not enough, we need at least some working software that can utilize and show the power of the technology

cant you build things on the testnet to show this though? I though that was the purpose of the testnet

It is. How else would developers create dapps and release them the same time EOS platform launches.

Hi guys,

Have any of you heard anything about a link with Monaco (MCO)? I'm heavily invested in MCO, and there was a lot of discussion in the Monaco slack about how a large sum of MCO was transferred out of the reserve account into an address that mainly contained EOS? Furthermore, one of the Managing directors at Monaco (Bobby Bao) was also recently pictured with the EOS CEO? Any connections we don't know about?

Thanks for any info.

I had a thought about EOS

Lets say there is someone really poor, and decides to deploy something great using the EOS software. I understand that EOS tokens are used to access the 'power' of the network, so, provided that this person is poor, he will be limited as to how big his creation can become?

Is there a way to utilize DACs so the users/EOS token holders can dynamically change how much 'power' a creation uses?

so what do you guys think, will the price of EOS keep rising Im thinking of trading .8ETH for some EOS I already have some but am thinking of buying more do you think it's a good time to buy or should I wait and see??

Long term it is going to go up for sure. Short term I think it will rise as well because of the release of Dawn 2.0 today. The release is also coming a few weeks early.

I have no doubts about the future of EOS. This tech is light years ahead of ETH

Plus it is always good to diversify and spread the risk.

I sold off some of my ETH to get into EOS

Can anyone tell me how fast the money (€) would be on my bank account if I sell my eos token on bitfinex today ?

that has nothing to do with the EOS token, rather its about the speed of bitfinex and what their process is.

EOS has a completely unique structure for its ICO, it is a year long sale, they sell batches of tokens within 'rounds'.
Honestly I prefer this over most token sale models, removes the FOMO and allows me to make a rational decision.

On the one side I agree with you, reducing the fomo that is artifcially created in tokensales with hard cap is a good thing. But on the other side I dont know if the pricing structure is the best: collecting as much money as possible every round (day) for 365 rounds is so much money raised in the end. I still dont see why a blockchain software company would need billions of funding without even having a mvp. Dont get me wrong, I dont want to FUD, just some honest critique of an investor.

You make a good point. I would like to add though, that having bitshares and steem as a track record may be a better indicator for success than a mvp. They both have very good use cases and are still active after the lead dev left.

From my perspective, I dont really care if they raise billions or trillions, as long as the more money raised allows for the EOS platform to be deployed in its full capacity faster. I absolutely love permissionless systems.
