Hi.. im sorry first of all if this has already been discussed before.. but if anyone can tell me.. EOS is already available on exodus.. that means token sale has already been done? Or it will launch soon? If yes then when?

EOS has a completely unique structure for its ICO, it is a year long sale, they sell batches of tokens within 'rounds'.
Honestly I prefer this over most token sale models, removes the FOMO and allows me to make a rational decision.

What is the advantage of buying EOS though ICO rather than buying EOS on an exchange? Sorry for what it might be a stupid question, I am just starting discovering the cryptocurrency world.

Congrats on your first post. Your first post and you are inquiring about EOS

The benefit of buying from the exchange is that you know exactly what price you are paying. Through the ICO you can only hope that the price doesn't rise above the current market price. When buying through the ICO there is a huge surge of ETH that flows in during the last hour of each window.

You can check the current window and prices of previous windows at https://eosscan.io/
Just a repeat.. Lots of ETH flows in during the last hour of the window

How long or to which price point are all of you about to hodl if you‘re in for the long term?

At $10 I am willing to consider releasing some if there still isn’t a working product. As crazy as that may sound though.

Well.. EOS token selling is running until june 2018, it is almost one year you can check on their official website of EOS https://eos.io It is just token ERC20 of ethereum and it is not the EOS coin,  if you are talking about the EOS coin you must wait until the July 2018, the blockchain of EOS will launch, that is why you must register your myetherwallet to the wallet of EOS contract and for beta testing of blockchain EOS will launch 4 December 2017, that is the causes EOS price went up more than $4/token EOS.

Quick question to all, who are you buying EOS from? Or are most people buy BTC & then shapeshifting into EOS?

Bitfinex or Binance. Both have very good volume.

Hey guys. What is the difference for me if i just buy EOS and do not participate in the token distribution?

You get EOS tokens either way. Whether you're buying directly from the team or from someone else who bought it from the team and is now selling to you. If you live in US, don't bother with the distribution, but from exchanges.

I have a question about the EOS database for applications. Where would this bank be stored and how to restore a database on the platform?

A paper about Filecoin states that it raised "a total of $257 million – so far the biggest initial coin offering (ICO) as of today (September 2017)."

Is that correct? Where can one see how much EOS has raised?

Perhaps on eosscan.com

The bottom graph shows an average daily yield of roughly 8600ETH,
so after 160 days they already raised about 1.4M ETH or 0.6 Billion $.
