network is not live, or there is nothing works. basically as of now, it is a token created out of thin air, that does not represent anything yet. Mainly for speculation, due to its ICO mechanism. It sounds like money game.

There is one scam website, which is a copy of eos.io: eos-token.com!

I do not understand why the EOS token is yet already traded on Kraken at a better price than the period #0 (roughly around 1$ depending on the ETH price you take).
It doesn't make much sense for someone that just bought at $0.91 to sell for any less, most people are holding and those that sell choose to sell for a good profit because of the potential of EOS imo.

Am I wrong in assuming the price on the exchanges can only go down as the ICO is a year long or do people now get less EOS for their ETH during the ICO periods?

i think your contribution of 5 eth was for period #2 and not #1.
so you have to wait until period #2 ends (which is in about 10.5h) before you can claim your tokens

Hi everyone! I'm brand new to the cryptocurrency world and on this forum so I hope you will be indulgent 
I do not understand why the EOS token is yet already traded on Kraken at a better price than the period #0 (roughly around 1$ depending on the ETH price you take).
And if the site http://eosscan.io/ is accurate it seems a (too good to be true) opportunity to get "cheap" EOS tokens.
Any light?

How much is the price per EOS token? Cannot find it anywhere. Or how much tokens do we get with 0.01 ETH? The slack channel invite is revoking the token.
It will vary each day of ICO, you can track it here: https://eos.io/instructions. For period #0 that just ended it is 0.003259510 ETH/EOS but there are another 350 periods when each day price may be different.
