The trezor pre-orders are closed. When can I order one?
now it becomes exciting.I'd say Trezor could be cheaper
, because Trezor's development was founded by the community through pre-order.I didn't write *will* be cheaper, based on experience they join the lines of greedy assholes (soon) - not because they are bad guys in their hearth, but money corrupts most people as you know.
Let's see. If they want to support spreading/usage of BTC and not lining their own pockets, ONLY, we might see a price so low that the average person -for example in India or Africa- is able to buy it..

Sorry guys, there is no option to upgrade from Metallic to Classic preorder. Only limited number of metallic cases were made and they are all being shipped.

I assume he was referring to the metal cases, not Trezor in general. That would be a little baffling if they worked this hard on the product and just decided not to sell it anymore.
So the classics are abandoned and the orders are being transferred to the new design of which the first prototype will be expected in nine weeks?
The design of Classics will be the same, we just switched manufacturer.
