What is going on on China qualifiers ? It seems that IG and Vici might be out from TI ? I don't know about IG but Vici is out for sure and this might be the first TI without ViCi gaming on it and Invictus Gaming are having a rough time playing against LBSZ and they already leading 1-0 on IG. If somehow , IG losing this best of 3 , then they are out for good from TI qualifiers and to be honest , there are a lot of new teams heading to TI this year...

ESL Pro league 16 is heating up with G2 and Faze carving out solid victories in their tables with yesterday's matches.
G2 almost had a 16-0 round on map 2 against MiBR as they went 15-0 at the half.

Have placed some bets yesterday which had won with these two teams and will continue backing them until they lose during this tournament.

Thanks for the insight on those maps @STT!
Very much appreciated and it will help for those who heard while watching ESL Pro league during one of the game play-by-play announcements of these maps.

Talking about the tournament happening right now,
Faze are looking very sharp against FTW and just might make it a 2-0 for this early game on match day in this Fall series.

You can place any bets on the next matches here on the esports gaming hub for more options available on the markets:

For now I will say no to all three.  Its unlikely immediately due to a forthcoming major and teams have asked for no changes in the run up due to their extreme training schedule on each map.   Its possible to lose an entire major from the weak spot a new map creates, balance can be quite wrong on new maps and CSGO has extreme sensitivity on balance changes, this is how we lost Cobblestone.    Also I think why we are stuck on Dust2 for this long, better the devil you know.
I like all 3 maps, none are new and Breach and Anubis are for fun games.  These two maps cannot handle competitive professional teams though nothing is impossible, Vertigo somehow made it and was just a meme map for years.   This is a community determination, the developers test games on CS_Agency, an operation map for hostages.   Non core maps are retained if enough traffic occurs but to make a map tournament ready is via feedback from top teams.

Tuscan is actually years older then the others, its been hosted on Esea for a long time.   This is look is entirely new but the core overlay for the map is very familiar to some.   Quickest way for me to state this, the 'door stuck' video involves the Door on this map which exits onto A site.   Tuscan has the best chance of becoming a main map possibly end year and it might be temporary to cover the revamp or Mirage or another map.

ESL pro league is still going strong all month long and ends the first week of October so plenty of cs go to watch for this fall session.

Valve released several maps for the 10th year anniversary update of game adding three:
Tuscan, Breach and Anubis.
Wonder if they will add them to tournament play just like they did with ancient.

I kind of remember Mousesports (when they were called that several years ago) having a deal with a cryptocurrency companies but I don't remember with whom it was with.
Now they are called Mouz do they still have the same partnership or is it with a new venture capitalist signing?

There have been prior deals, I think Mouz had a crypto deal over five years ago.   Valve might have banned betting sponsorship (heavily 'discouraged ' apparently), that might be one reason why but considering the overlap in demographics I'd have thought crypto and esports will be an ideal combination and would occur far often then we have seen.

Its a bit quiet in CSGO as its holidays for them I believe, not seeing much to bet on.  Major in the autumn and so on, will be better in a few weeks.

FTX and TSM have made a 10-year naming sponsorship deal that can see esports and crypto partnerships further into the future.

It is really big business for these cryptocurrency firms to get into the esports sphere early on.

@ralle14 Looks like your selection won on the +1.5 for TT gaming to get it against Weibo gaming.
Congrats man!

Seen a youtube stream dedicated to Valorant matches just popup on my feeds yesterday.
We might see some major tournaments this season starting to get the unknowns in on the action.
So to get the ball rolling and get them to counterstrike levels of competitions and tournaments.

So is there an age limit for player to be still participating in tournaments like this?
I want to say yes but there are other factors aside from age that affect the player's performance as well. Eventually, pro players would realize on their own when it's a good time for them to step down or take a step back from the competitive scene.

My Ultra Prime pick lost as LNG looked somewhat better but they still need to fix things at their top lane if they want to keep up with the other good teams.

Moving on, Weibo Gaming faces TT Gaming later today and I went with +1.5 TT Gaming @2.01 since the odds seems a bit high after they got their upset win against OMG and Weibo Gaming have been dropping maps in their last 4 series.

Faze are officially the #1 Counterstrike team to play professionally in the world after beating Navi.
Karrigan is getting up on age and believe he is close to retiring. I think he has been playing since 2015 in majors.
So is there an age limit for player to be still participating in tournaments like this?
The announcers who are former players had said they left the sport after turning early 30's then went on to these jobs they are currently doing.

I thought that NaVi would have won it.
I had the same expectations at the start of the finals since Navi is slowly gaining some momentum and faced good opponents throughout the tournament.

Back to LPL once more, i'll be fading LNG and picking Ultra Prime +1.5 @1.69, LNG is the better team here but last week they played with their sub top after losing against FPX and their new top laner isn't performing any better so UP should at least take a map against LNG.

Yes, it hasn't ended when I've posted and said it's just the first half that ended and we're on the 2nd half and it didn't ended well for the NaVi. Well, what a clutch on the banana rush. IIRC, that was from broky cmiiw. Too many good plays and NaVi choked on. I just like seeing that fans are also crashing on the chatbox, I'm sure you all are seeing it too.  Smiley
Map 2 coming in.
Haha, cool. Tbh, I don't think Navi is choked at all since I've said above, very hard to play in the T side if you don't have the overwhelming in unity/nade or skill over other CT team. For Navi, economy management isn't their strong suit so if one or two match losses, hard for them to make a comeback against Faze, against all odds in CT for Faze and the nature of map inferno as well.
Now we're at Overpass map. I think Navi has a strong chance to win this since this is their pick and they have a history of doing quite well on Overpass. If this game is Bo3, I'd place my bet on Navi for the overall winner. But this is Bo5 and Navi if I remember correctly not doing well in the long Bo5 game, and Faze has that kind of endurance and crafty of the old fox. I think it will be a close game for both teams.
Faze won. Actually, you're right with your analysis and we've seen how it went and it was really a close match. I thought that NaVi would have won it.
But, no.
Choke or no choke in 1st map , Navi is running over Faze in map 2 and also in map 3 on Ancient. I've said in my previous post that I have a strange feeling this could go 3-1 for Navi and with a comeback will make it even more epic.

With how Faze is looking on map 3 when they are down 1-8 on their map pick , I don't think they will have the necessary resources to comeback and win Mirage Navi pick where Simple simply has godlike angles to work with.

EDIT : Literally one of the most insane games and is not even over yet.
It would have been a different story if NaVi took the 1st map but we all knew that it's not really for them. Well, the last map was intense.
Congrats to them.

Five maps it is.
Congrats on hitting the over 4.5, I went with Faze after took over Mirage and tie up the series.

It really looked as if Navi was going to have it go into overtime for the last and final map but Twistzz sealed it with a jumping move to kill the two players of Navi. Then they were just left with pistols.
Before this match Faze hadn't dropped a map all tournament long, which I didn't realize until one of the commentators mentioned it.
I also thought it'd go OT for the second time when it came down to 14-14 and even though some of them are getting frustrated during their losing rounds, they're still playing out of their minds as if nothing happened.

Hehe , I placed a bet on 1st map Navi and it would a hard one as they chose Overpass which is a strong map of Faze but I do think S1mple has something prepared for them.

Regarding total maps ...it might be a strange 3-1 for Navi but I personally want 5 maps too. Grin

EDIT : sorry , it seems map 2 is overpass.

Five maps it is.
It went and took all the maps to end this finals and lasted 7 hours to crown the winner.
So with this win that means Faze are the #1 cs go team in the world. It was a game that would be put among one of the best anyone had seen.

The same comments that I've been reading on the stream that NaVi is weak on the first map, Inferno. I've seen them retrieved themselves and proved everyone wrong at the first half.
From 1-5(Faze), they've managed to take the map 1 into 9-6. We're moving now to the 2nd half, we'll see if they'll continue to prove those folks wrong.
The first map hasn't ended yet, don't be hasty. Although I agree Navi is strong but CT side inferno is now for Faze. Inferno is one of my favorite maps and T side always hard to get points since strats against the banana rush are very effective. There aren't many ways for T sides to take control of banana so they can only go A site. Even then, B side banana only needs 1 player to lookout after you get complete control of it. This put A site harder to push where you might see 4 CT players stack, pit, connect to B, bacony,... So many to check for T, so much for crossfire against T. The odd is against Navi in the second half.
