Still shocked by the outcome of the finals with the favorites Faze clan going down to defeat at the hands of Heroic.
https://www.hltv.org/news/35163/heroic-defeat-faze-at-blast-fall-final-to-win-first-big-event-trophy

I had a first map and 2:0 victory to Faze but obviously lost those two bets I had placed on them earlier in the day.

The Danes had the home crowd cheering them on so to get past the champions. As it took the full three maps to decide a winner.
Broky took the MVP award for these Blast Premier fall final:

I think the new Boom will continue to dominate SEA despite the upcoming BlackList team that full of all star PH player. Typically this kind of OP team results too poor performance because they can’t work together properly because they are good on there own and with previous team mates.
For some reason, I think they'll struggle at the start as they might have a bit of communication issue since they're coming from different regions but we'll see what happens as I also didn't expect Boom last year to consistently finish at the top of the region.

That Heroic vs Liquid series almost went to a 2-0 but Team Liquid clutched up in OT and then they fell short in the decider map. I'm expecting Faze takes out NiP on the other match that's going on right now so we'd have a more interesting grand final and it'll be a rematch from the group stages.
We do get a great looking Grand Finals with Faze taking out the Ninjas in Pyjamas very easily on the third map 16-8.

What a match that will be at the Royal Arena in Denmark tomorrow.

Faze and NIP won their chosen maps and are now on to the third map. Faze was able to win Nuke in the overtime. They proved that they are very adept in CT in Nuke as they overcome a 14-7 lead by NiP, forced an overtime and win in the end.

They have regained their confidence after a horrible loss in Overpass. Mirage will be their deciding map. With the confidence of Faze this high going to third map, NiP is in big trouble.
NiP were in trouble and didn't even get to double digits on the last map. Faze sealed the deal so to go to the Finals.

Ropz play in OT on the second map did it which was a master class play to save them so to get to the last map.
Amazing player of CS GO! Didn't even know he was Estonian.

If you want to bet on the match I would suggest using the ESports dedicated part of the site, It has an interface which allows you to choose from different markets and lets you add things not available from the regular section so to make it a type of betbuilder choice for your Esports!

Summary of the updated Boom Esports Roster:

Natsumi - Position 1
Yopaj - Position 2
FBZ - Position 3
Xepher - Position 4
Xnova - Position 5

All of these SEA teams that have announced their rosters are interesting and have got potential. But we will still see which of those teams will dominate the SEA region or at least will be able to have the slot in the DPC season. I want to see most of them get in for The International and showcase their talent to the world because they're now considered as the weakest region. Hopefully that most of these teams will have good placing in LAN events and get as much as DPC points as they can until they qualify for TI.

Dota2 News…

New Roster Update for Boom Esports after expiration of contract for Jackky, Tims & Skem. They welcome Natsumi, Xepher and Xnova to replace the outgoing player while Yopaj, FBZ and Mushi will maintain there old position. I really like the new composition because Xnova is far better pos 5 compared to Skem while Natsumi is consistent position 1 player on Neon and Polaris that gives headache on the previous version of Boom during the SEA tournaments matchup.

Wow! What a match yesterday with Navi and NiP!
If you happened to watch it you would of enjoyed a very good match up with the former champions of this tournament up against the ropes from the very beginning and til the very end.
During double overtime Navi player Bit hit a 3k headshot which I had never witnessed in a tournament like this before. Could this only be achieved with an AWP? I couldn't recall which gun he had but it was a clean shot as all three players on NiP lined up perfectly so he could get that shot done.

Anubis has been announced to make it's premiere appearance during this tournament as a map teams can choose:
https://www.hltv.org/news/35123/anubis-and-weapon-changes-to-feature-at-blast-premier-world-final
As mentioned before this new map will make it's debut during the finals. So it won't be a map choice until the very last day?
Spring and Fall winners will collide for the World championship in 2023!

At this point , every team from NA going to SA is an improvement. NA pubs and Dota 2 scene in general is very poorly there as young players don't tend to play Dota 2 and they are fans of LoL and Valorant/ CSGO. In my opinion , EG made a great move by going into SA they kinda got Thunder Awaken at this point , right ? Pakazs in my opinion , is the best carry in the world right now. Skitter from Tundra is nothing like Pakazs.
EG just did the right thing for their Dota 2 roster. Change is needed because it's been years since they've been with almost the same roster and a few roles that have been changed but still nothing has ever been achieved except participating in the TI but went with a low place.

What is next for NA Dota at this point ? They have only 2 teams left there and the new ones will emerge from DPC League 2....looks like a dead region in Dota Sad.
Not really, pro players understand that this is an easy gateway for them as all of them are targeting the TI as usual. If there are no strong teams, there could be free agents/players that will form a strong stack and will then stay at that region whether they have an org or none to start with.

The Fall Final series has been a good one and the matchups seem to be heating up as we have Heroic vs G2 to kick things off for the Black Friday games starting off the day in about two hours from now.
Here is the match if you want to wager a little on these two teams:

Some disturbing news coming from the DOTA2 arena with a deal being pulled back from TSM made alight earlier yesterday.
That was kind of expected after the disaster and the TSM players might have to wait a bit before they could remove the FTX part from their dota2 pro name since it's the off season.
There were some who had shirts with the logo during road to rio so I am imagining this will affect their deals with the now defunct exchange as well.
I didn't even notice that FTX was sponsoring a csgo team and throughout the tournament, the imperial jerseys are always the ones that catch my eye. Cheesy
Yeah, the TSM players can wait and they had the longest one of 10 years with the name but they had multiple deals in all the different esports leagues.
The team I couldn't remember was Furia, the hosts of the Intel Extreme Masters tournament in Brazil.
https://esportsinsider.com/2022/11/furia-cancels-ftx-sponsorship-after-crypto-exchange-files-for-bankruptcy

The company also were the official League of Legends championship series exchange partners.
"The deal immediately raised eyebrows from the esports community, as this announcement comes just months after LCS denied TSM from using FTX branding. Sources told Dot Esports that as part of the deal, Riot will have the ability to remove the branding from assets on applicable international broadcasts where cryptocurrencies are ‘strictly regulated.’
On the contrary, editing physical assets, such as logos on a TSM jersey, are not as plausible."

The old EG roster will keep on playing in the NA DPC since that was somewhat confirmed by their captain Fly.

Completely new team incoming for EG regarding Dota 2 after 5 years  Cry. I'm curious what players we will get as EG still remains one of my favorites teams from dota 2 scene but I'm also curious what road RTZ will get because at first sight , Team Secret instantly posted on EG tweet about RTZ and he could be a great fit in in Secret in this moment.

What do you guys think about this move ? Was a good move by EG ? I think a rebuild is always welcome , even in Dota 2 but it's a sad one for RTZ fans.

I also read that EG is planning to take players from South America.

The rumored EG roster for DOTA2:

  • Pakazs
  • Chris Luck
  • Wisper
  • Matthew
  • Pandaboo

I do not know if this is a good move. I guess we will see when DPC season starts. But I am sure that fans of EG will surely miss Cr1t and Arteezy. They have been with EG since 2016.

I also think that Furia can win this game without crowd help as they are in great shape and they are playing super aggressive CS:GO with mixed up rotations that a few teams are doing them. Game about to start so lets hope for some great CS:GO and maybe one map with Overtime  Cool
Somehow FURIA heard your wish  Cheesy and delivered an unlikely OT during the second map(Ancient) when they were down 15-5 but Heroic still came out on top pushing the series to a third map. I nearly thought Heroic was going to get swept but props to them for being resilient throughout the series. I hope they'll get the win in the grand finals later today since it felt like FURIA was their toughest opponent so far.
Watched that semi-finals match until half then thought they lost but it ended in overtime somehow.
Heroic took map 2 after that comeback from the Brazilians so it wasn't meant to be.
I did think they could do anything and would take the match in the finals but Outsiders were way too good and on point to let that happen.

I'm kinda lost for words. Furia tried everything and the crowd tried everything as well but Heroic on second map took things personally and start delivering high class CS:GO. The third map was even worse for Furia as they barely got 6 rounds where Heroic had Stavn with 24 K /  D/ 1 Assist ...that means he made 23 kills by himself without any help ...that's insane so massive congrats to Heroic for reaching the finals. Shocked
They got beaten 2-0 in the finals so it was no contest.
I had Heroic to take atleast a map but Dame & Fame were way too much on a roll to let anybody stop them.

Since they were playing in Brazil you can spot alot of Sportsbet.io shirts being worn by the fans.

From a closer look later on they look to be from Imperial but the shirts were worn throughout the tournament.
Good for Sportsbet to get exposure during a major of this size in a huge market that Brazil is for Esports.

Outsiders/VP are the first finalists after Mouz put up a good fight against them but they had a great run overall. Now it's Furia time to go to finals and meet Outsiders but Heroic will most likely come with a strong game play tactic that will put Furia in some trouble but the crowd will most likely screw Heroic plans hahah and make Furia to win as they did until now.
