So much drama in Dota 2 lately and most around Team Heroic and Parker because even if Parker is benched right now and the org wants to sell him or find a loan situation for him because he has massive talent as a carry so it's not normal for him to be on the bench. However , most of T1 teams have said that no one really wants such a guy in their team , who can starts conflicts out of nowhere or can play against his team just because something doesn't go as he perfects as he wants to and I can understand teams for saying this. Per example , Team Liquid lead coach Blitz said that no matter how great you are , no matter how skilled you are , no team will want a problematic player in their team to disturb what have already being build.  Grin

What do you think it will happen with Parker ? he will understands that Dota 2 is a team game ? or he will find the hard way by sitting on the bench for quite some time.

Its common but when it comes to a tweet that says he lack the desire to win then that create alot of speculation. Positive speculation would be that he feel uncomfortable with his teammates therefore he doesnt have that drive to win the games. It happened when you play alongside people that you hate but in this case I totally speculate that it could be 322 scenario
I know that feeling when you lose the drive to win a game. That sucks on the teammates end and they're already down and someone don't want to play competitively even if they can still win a tough game.

Well, officially Heroic claimed that in the best of the five series with beastcoast, Parker did not join his team and went mid lane that resulted his team wipe out in ESL One Bangkok 2024. Also Parker’s has responded to the allegations and he has blamed the coach for this terrible decisions making and also he told that loss was due to the Ego of the coach and insulting the players. Parker not accepting the allegations and repeatedly blaming the teammates for these mishaps resulted in losing the DreamLeague S24.

Anyway this is not really the first case for Parker, a year or two ago he had issue with his teammates as well.
I can't remember that he's got some past issues as well.

So, if this is the second or third time that he's got into this issue. The real issue is on him, his attitude and despite he's a good carry, most teams and teammates are valuing more attitude and good chemistry.

This situation has lead to significant drama within the Dota 2 community and there are mixed reactions/emotions from fans and other players. However i again will insist that in games especially Dota 2, it is very common for the players to be benched or transferred and there can be number of reason these movements. I am sure, Parker will return once this situation cools off.

So it seems Parker from Heroic was benched due to a conflict within team but also " a lack of desire to win games " ? that is what official team stated on Twitter about Parker. That means , he is a mafia guy ? a 322 guy ? or what ? because that is what we get from that sentence. It's well known in Dota 2 that some players are mafia players and they prefer to trow games here and there whenever they get contacted to do so and we have plenty examples in the last couple of years. However , with Parker ( the hype around this guy was massive ) being benched and already Heroic looking to transfer him , who is gonna take him ? 1 month ago he was on the list for every T1 dota team and now no one wants him because of this problems that he has.

It seems like there is a lot of speculation about the Parker's Situation. This statement Heroic is quite controversal as the "Lack of desire to win" can be interpreted in a number of ways. It does not necessarily mean that he is involved in match fixing type of situation or had unethical behavior like a "Mafia guy", It can be that Parker may be lacking the motivation and that can be due to some internal issues not in align within the team.

Great slip, you ended up winning this. I was a bit skeptical that Navi was going to win this easily when I watch the first map but 2nd map was a massacre for SAW. 13-2 and that was pretty one sided
Thanks, the skill gap was too high and Saw shot themselves in the foot by benching one of their best players.

Anyone else placing bets on the later matches in this RMR?
Think there is only BetBoom left to decide who is in 7th place after this Sinners match.
That pause tech pause felt like it lasted for almost an hour. Yesterday, I had BB on the decider match and I regret taking them over GL who played better as a team.

Decided not to because I couldnt get a good odds on that. Turned out it was bo2 series so yeah it sucks. Although Nigma to win atleast 1 map is at 4x odds though. Bookies were so confident that they put draw at 4x odds while Team Liquid to win at 1.2 odds.

Totally not worth it as I cant picture Nigma to win when they are struggling to even win against Winter Bear

Big upset as mouz beat #1 team navi today to qualify for the CS major

Navi arent out yet and should surely qualify with their next match, more crazy rmr this week upcoming!
Navi couldn't find their rhythm yesterday after winning the first map. Mouz on the other hand, everyone was contributing on their side as most of them had similar kill scores in the last two maps.

Anyone going to bet on the 1Win tournament tomorrow? I fancy taking Team Liquid -1.5 against Nigma  Roll Eyes. Team Liquid is just way better compared to Nigma for sure though so -1.5 on Liquid is justified
Good luck with those, i'll pass up on the 1win tournament since the RMR major is ongoing and I have a bet pending on NaVi to sweep Saw.

I took them too and like you've said they're so favored I had to parlay it with Aurora to get better odds.

I actually felt like a dumbass not to bet big on Gauzo before when the odds was still over 1.5x. Could have made decent amount from it

With some roster shuffles today, Talon Esports have announced the release of their coach - Pieliedie and their position 1 player - Akashi.

Expected that this would happen especially that this is the 2nd tournament with EPT points on Stake. I personally feel like this season is kinda faster compared to the last season, we are already on the 2nd EPT tournament

Therefore, Avulus takes the other spot going to ESL Bangkok together with OG.

Avulus totally deserved this, they were way better than the other teams there except for Liquid
I agree, I've been betting on them with the past tournaments and it's not that too consistent at all but happy to see them make it.

Ended up as a loss though. I would have stick with just moneyline if bookies offered around 1.5x but it was 1.3x odds for Gauzo to win hence I decided to pick -1.5 map for Gauzo. I thought they could atleast handle that since its bo5
I took them too and like you've said they're so favored I had to parlay it with Aurora to get better odds. Sadly, my bet didn't make it with Aurora getting reverse swept by Boom in the SEA grand finals.  Tongue

Avulus really deserved to qualify over OG but I do feel bad for 23Savage as the went from a really good team of Aurora to try his luck with OG who is not in a great shape for quite some time now.
Avulus formed the better lineups in the final series and OG thought they could play the scaling game with Alchemist and Storm Spirit.

I had my hopes up and thought that was the moment for OG to snag the second qualifier spot since they surprised us by beating Tundra and Gaimin Gladiators in the lower bracket.

Speaking of top teams, my bet on Gauzo lost  Roll Eyes. Too bad that XG managed to win the 1st map. Well I guess I'll try again on the grand final of CN qualifiers
Gauzo is looking solid even though they drop a map against Xtreme Gaming. I might take them later today in the grand finals if the odds are close to a coin flip.

I said I'd take them again and I actually did  Smiley

The other match going on I am watching is Boom Esports up against Aurora Gaming and that one is a close one on the 5th map to their Southeast Asia Closed Qualifier in the ESL One Bangkok series.

I didnt watch this one but I just checked on liquipedia though. Solid come back from Boom Esport after losing 2 maps. Its pretty hard to get a come back like that after losing 2 in a row

The most surprising for me was the fact that 1WIN was defeated by PuckChamp 3-0 in Bo5 grand final and the odds for 1win was about 1.3 to win the map and 1.45 to win the series  Grin Grin Grin. I think the odds for PuckChamp tp win 3-0 the series was more than 10 for sure.

Watching Gaimin at the moment trying to make a comeback against OG but I think they are done.
Gaimin Gladiators lost against OG and then OG lost against Avulus. Therefore, Avulus takes the other spot going to ESL Bangkok together with OG. Oh well, I have doubted Team Liquid but congrats to them.

This is a crazy match, Aurora took 2-0 first but then they've been reversed swept by Boom Esports into 3-2.  Undecided
