As for Nigma Galaxy, I never really expected from them anymore until they have kuroky playing on the team. He's not like Puppey who can still play effectively and devise plans and strats on the fly. I can say that I'm a hater of kuroky at this point, but that's only because he's good only as a coach at this point and not a player anymore.
I agree, for Nigma Galaxy to thrive, they likely need a better captain, and maybe having a sixth player who can sub for Kuro wouldn't be a bad idea. I assume that's the best approach because I doubt he'll remove himself from the team he started.

And going back with one of the matches of BB against GG on their 2nd map, it's a crazy match and they've been just destroyed easily by GG through destroying their barracks. Heroes of GG weren't really good for late game but they're able to win and that DK of quinn was crazy and was like on a pills, BB was so close in winning the 2nd map but GG defended the tree and they just don't want to give up so they did won.
I had to check the highlights of that second map, and the high-ground defense from GG was too strong with Enigma, Rubick, and DK spamming all their spells while BB barely had anything when it was their time to defend.

Ace's Enigma was clutch in the 5v5 engagements catching 1-2 core heroes every time he uses his ultimate.

I just feel bad for BetBoom as they've got 2 series = 4 matches and with all of that, they won nothing so 0-4, clean.
It looks like the teams prepared for them after their successful run at DreamLeague and Team Liquid's series win was probably one of the fastest with both maps ending in less than 30 minutes.

Despite the awful start, their schedule should get easier now that they're done facing two of the potential best teams in the group.
I agree, they're now going with some recovery wins on the upcoming days and I think that they're not going to let it pass. So, this is just a best of 2 for most of the games and this only means that whoever gets the most wins will be moving to the playoffs and those that don't get a lot of it will totally get eliminated. 8 teams will be eliminated once this round robin ends and I guess that they should be focusing each to the weakness of their opponents and no more pride picks like giving the best hero of one team. A respect ban is a must for most of them. Excel is fun
Also, that Swiss stage was great, I hope other tournaments can adapt the format in the future as it was more fun to watch than these upcoming bo2 formats knowing that most of these series would be 1-1s.

First time I've seen this format in dota2 iirc and yeah it seems we are now pretty similar to how cs2 tournament works huh. There are various of 1M prizepool tournament just like in cs2 and now swiss stage as well, pretty interesting but too bad Nigma Galaxy didnt make it

-snip-

Swiss stage gives us a lot more games in one single day without teams having to get tired and still play a decent amount of games and practicing a lot along the way. It's a good tournament format that also provides viewers and gamblers like us to make some money and examine how each teams are doing. I'm not sure if this will carry over in Dota 2 but heck, it would be great if it would.

It looks cool honestly and that's really an ideal for giving to the fans and making it more competitive of whoever is going to last with such durability in the long run with this kind of set up.
And what makes it interesting is how luck becomes a factor because the teams are randomly matched in the next round.

Here is the recap of matches that we've got for this day. The scores are still irrelevant since there are still a lot of days remaining, I'll include them soon when there will be teams that are already eliminated. Some teams have already played twice and the others will be playing twice as well in the next upcoming days and this is frigging a lot of games seriously and to be honest, this is what the fans like for the tournaments like this in the tier 1 category. I just feel bad for BetBoom as they've got 2 series = 4 matches and with all of that, they won nothing so 0-4, clean.

Going back with Dota 2, I've watched the Blacklist versus Virtus Pro match. That one very moment on the mid side. On the first map, that pango of Abed and Luna of Palos.

After Palos' luna died with an aegis, he's about to be dead as well but Abed transferred the cheese on him and then the rest is history.

What a play by Abed.
It's good to see them beat VP in a 2-0 sweep and they're slightly improving. We'll see if they have what it takes to catch up with the tougher teams now that the weaker ones are eliminated.
But then, they've been beaten by Aurora 2-0 too.

Surprisingly, Team Spirit was beaten by Heroic. Our 2-time TI champs have been beaten by the SA team, Heroic. Should I say not surprising since I am a fan of K1 Hector who's the position 1 of this team.

On the other bracket which is the B side, Aurora has beaten their co-SEA team Blacklist without even 23savage but their stand-in, the child prodigy satanic is doing it.

He's a good one honestly and I think after this tournament, there will be some teams that's going to take him as everyone is going to focus again in gaining EPT points for the TI 2024.
It's impressive that they beat Team Spirit in the second map with a position 1 Troll. I thought it'd go 1-1 thinking Troll wouldn't become a problem as he can be easily kited during his ult.

That SEA matchup was expected to go in the way of Aurora even without 23, and it looked like a complete outdraft on their side as Blacklist only had 14 kills in total.

It's still too early to tell when this was only his second series with Aurora, but it'll be interesting to follow their other series once they start meeting the scarier teams.

Yeah, it's rarely used in Dota because TI always makes use of the bo2 format.

Anyway, I made a bet on Falcons to win for 1.65 and Im kinda regretting it now lol. The risk reward ratio isnt that great afterall but its Falcons though so they should be able to win easily

Talking about Group B Team Aurora, im just amazed with that stand-in player King on how he do play that pos 1 on which i could say that this kid is much better than savage but well this is just my opinion.

When it comes to execution of skills and when it comes to farming and carry/core impact then you could really say that it is really have that kind of connections when it comes to skill executions and timing
but well its just a stand in but he did really well into this one. On the recent game against Liquid and BB then its an easy 2-0 game for Liquid. Boxi is really good with that techies pick
but well this is really just that still on roundrobin stage on which there's still so much things that could happen.

Dang! I missed another Valhalla League game and right now Philadelphia 76ers (Clyde) VS Boston Celtics (Jim) are having a match right now as I am posting this they are now entering the 3rd Quarter of the game and right now Boston Celtics (Jim) is in the great lead for this game but for sure Philadelphia 76ers (Clyde) on the 3rd quarter can still keep up and right now the game was a close one but for sure even if I missed this game Valhalla League 2024 Week #14 still have great stuff awaits me because, on the next game for this, I think I will have some picks and here is the game that will be coming next after this one

Golden State Warriors (Shooter) VS Los Angeles Lakers (Clyde)

Right now it will be against Shooter's Golden State Warriors VS Clyde's Los Angeles Lakers for now the odds are 2.15 for  Golden State Warriors (Shooter) and 1.62 for Los Angeles Lakers (Clyde) I think just like with the last game my pick will be Los Angeles Lakers (Clyde) who has the edge on the odds for this game my pick is non-other than Los Angeles Lakers (Clyde).

They've been sleeping for a long time. With that I mean, I am sure that you understand what that really means. Yuragi is so good and has been consistently good even with OG.

A trivia for that grand finals, sanctity was playing with 100+ ping during that time. What an incredible player.
I'm referring to the CS squad, but it's also nice to hear their Dota squad qualify for a tournament.  Wink
Haha, so it's got double meaning. I'll get into CS2 discussions too as well.  Cheesy

After taking a break for a few days i'm testing my luck with this Dota bet on Heroic. They're currently the best SA team, and only got here because they had tougher matchups facing three good EU teams. The odds are still close because all of Talon's series have gone to all three maps, and it's a decent alternative bet for 1.85 odds.

Also @boyptc thank you for the info on the next tournaments Navi qualify for.
No problemo.  Wink

Congratulations to Navi for winning PGL major Copenhagen and not only that, they're automatically qualified to two another grand major and great event and tournament.
On top of that, they rose four spots from the world ranking. It's still unreal that this iteration of Navi would take home the trophy and beat them one-sidedly on the decider map.

I can also say that PGL did a fantastic job with this major and the final reached a peak of 500k viewers at some point which is amazing! CS will never die and that is a solid fact.  Cool Cool Cool
My thoughts are the same, aside from that unfortunate hiccup from the VP/G2 series, they handled this first CS2 major better than expected.

Incredible win for NAVI and a well deserve trophy for the entire team but also very well deserved for aleksib who has been in the CS pro scene for a decade now.

Faze played well but couldn't handle the pressure on 3rd map and that made all the calls from Faze to be in doubt because they were losing round after round. I also feel a bit bad for Frozen but he was the best player from Faze today and too bad his team wasn't on the same level.

Great to see a veteran player like Aleksib win one with a team which had been up and down the past years and switching players in their rosters. So he had seen his handful of players coming through and adjusting his game style to fit the team.

Totally missed the finals as was away from screens completely for the past week.
A good reset and maybe one @arallmuus could take aswell. It just might be what you need so to get back to winning ways in betting on esports.

Alright, we're back in some Dota 2 actions for this Elite League. I've missed most of them today because of how the holiday's were spent but we're still on the first day and I've just watched the last game for Blacklist International and OG. The score now is tie at 1-1 and this is a best of 3 series. Blacklist International won against OG on the game 1 but then, OG able to redeem themselves and show who they were after winning just this time as of typing and it was an easy game for them.

3rd map is coming and this is going to be a decider match on who's going to win this series then after that we have to wait again for less than a day for most teams to get some rest. I don't understand how a swiss stage does but after this, they're going to be in a round robin. I've missed all of these tournament categories when I used to participate with many of them when I was younger but anymore today.
