Right now , I'm hoping to see a 3rd map between paIN gaming and MongolZ as these 2 teams have a lot of young talents whiting their team like Techno on MongolZ or lux on paIN Gaming.
The third map of their series somehow ended with the craziest back-and-forth lasting 40 rounds in total. It was sloppy for both teams, and I think that's what made the series interesting.  Grin
We have to remember, these are the first majors with all teams playing in this new format of going only to 13 rounds unless going to OT under source 2.
Imperial seem to be lacking that quality play they started off with in this tournament losing to Team Vitality yesterday and now to FaZe Clan today.

If you could link me to some webpage I could follow strategy games like those I mentioned I would feel greatful, also of there are some sport books where I could place some bets on those games it would be cool. Thanks in before.
Even though I don't bet on Age of Empires, Liquipedia's Age of Empire homepage might be a good start. I always browse the other Liquipedia wikis when i'm going to bet on the other esports titles. They help a lot in providing information because of the team/player profiles that show their recent matches.

Good afternoon guys.
I am a person who is pretty much into videogames and I have played both Dota and A bit of League of Legends. Not many shooters though. I have planned to start following some tournaments of my favorite PvP games but I am not informed enough on whether how to start in order to make my experience following those tournements as smooth as possible.
In specially interested in whether there are some tournaments for professional player of Age of empires II, Age of empires III and Age of empires IV.
Because the most of the occasions I have seen people talking about professional leagues of players those are mostly on Mobas and First person shooters.

If you could link me to some webpage I could follow strategy games like those I mentioned I would feel greatful, also of there are some sport books where I could place some bets on those games it would be cool. Thanks in before.

Another massive victory from Imperial against VP but I must say VP can't win forever with that saving strategy but the current meta of CS is to save where even 4 vs 5 so in the long term , I can already see VP winning a major. Until then , I'm super curious to see how Imperial will do in this major but also if G2 can finally win something with Niko because the guy deserves a trophy!
Amazing victory and missed it until you mentioned it because hltv has their news feed bumped up so quick.
Noticed VP form has declined since last I seen them play, so maybe it was Imperial's time.
Niko hasn't on a major yet? Thought they won one last year. Could be mistaken aswell.
FURIA is back to another 0-2 start again lol, the bad seeding fucked them and it only got worse because a few good teams dropped their opening match.

I also didn't expect Imperial to beat VP, but they're unfortunate to get paired by Spirit with a 13-2 scoreline, and out of the teams with the same record they have to face Vitality later today.
Congratulations on the betslip you had them beating GL live. Nice odds too!
So they are up against Team Spirit? They have been all over the board so if Imperial is to beat them now is their time to do it. With sporadic inconsistent form as of late.

I had no bets on them but I do enjoy to watch PGL much more than ESL.

I'm also a bit surprised to see Complexity taking only 3 maps in 2 games against Mouz and I can't tell if Complexity had a really bad day or this new squad of Mouz simply destroyed them.

The DreamLeague S23 qualifiers are also becoming interesting with Spirit eliminated by 1win and Aurora getting knocked down to the lower bracket, which means we could see a few new teams this upcoming season. Shocked

Well, Entity got really lucky as they have ended up with the $50k grand prize for this finals as they've beaten Virtus.Pro from game 2-4. The first match was won by VP but then it ends there.
VP got lucky in the first map with Entity picking Meepo against a Gyro carry lineup. After the second and third maps I knew my ticket was about to lose, they cooked up much better drafts and outplayed VP throughout the series.
Yeah, that first map was even hard for VP and it took long since it's gonna be a farm game.

Anyway, another org is stepping into the Dota scene (Leviatan) and they're currently competing in the SA qualifiers with Chris Luck as their temporary position 2 player. The SA qualifiers are only getting stacked at this point, and I wonder how cheap is the operation cost given so many orgs are willing to give it a shot.

Nice, it's good to see that more orgs are coming to the Dota 2 professional scene. Unlike the last TI was it or the other one when many professional teams that are known to other esports have been gone and stepped away like Fnatic, EG and other known ones. And that's why it's always welcoming to see such new orgs rise and hire pro players too. They have lost to Esterbacks and I think that's fine because they're still trying to take the tempo for each of them. This is just hard for the new teams and they need to develop players communication and relationship but compared to the whole development program of teams that they'll start it out with non pro players, it will cost them a lot of money and more time. More tournaments on them there in SA and they'd be able to make it. Leviatan has got all of its players experienced, I am not just sure if Chris Luck will be their main stay as position 2 but they should be fine staying there in the SA if they're with him because he's more familiar with the region and the teams that they're going to be with onto their next tournaments so, hiring someone like him who's also a good position 2 and known globally.

Imperial are playing Gamerlegion in a few hours to keep their run into PGL Majors at Copenhagen.
https://www.hltv.org/matches/2370626/imperial-vs-gamerlegion-pgl-cs2-major-copenhagen-2024-opening-stage

They lost yesterday against Ecstatic 2-1 but hopefully can rebound today against GL and stay in the top of these opening stage matches.

Imperial did it bro! What an amazing series right ? From almost winning 1st map ( 9-3 ) to losing it in OT , then winning 2nd map on mirage without giving GL reasons to believe they can win map2 and finally we moved to Nuke where Imperial are simply masterclass on this map and it was a well deserved victory!

The SA region is packed with all these teams though, these new organizations planning to get into dota2 scene should really consider The MENA region instead
That's possible if there was a decent stack similar to what we're seeing in the SEA region and can pressure the other good teams.

After Imperial threw the first map away I thought it'll be a 2-0 sweep for GL. I grabbed their live odds after they bounced back on Mirage, we'll see if they can complete the reverse sweep.

I can't believe Spirit lost 1st map against Nemiga gaming but this shouldn't come as a shock because Spirit really struggles this patch with their hero pool and I doubt anything can change for them until next patch. Sure , they will improve a lot but as long as their hero pool is not in the current meta of dota 2 , them as a team won't perform great either.

Im actually glad that I didnt bet on it but honestly I was so close on betting for it so I might have jinxed it abit  Undecided. I guess most unexpected result could happen in a lower tier tournament like this though, never would I have expected Team Spirit to actually lose. I thought they would atleat secure that 3rd place especially against Team Liquid

BOL on the ticket, i'll be betting on VP to win the finals as I think Entity got lucky with the matchups and avoided Team Spirit throughout the tournament.

Few more days until we know how good the current Nigma is. Pretty much the same situation for them on the MENA qualifiers, PSG.Quest is the only team they need to watch out for
Yeah, we'll see them in less than 2 weeks as the start of the Elite League and most of the teams that are going to participate this tournament are prominent and strong teams. As for PSG.Quest, they've released and didn't took ammar on their team and that's why it seemed to be a downgrade for them when they took Tobi instead. But that's the management decision and these guys have been into various international tournaments and shown that they're also a strong team and contender for most of the toughest teams in the world. Three teams to look out for the MENA, Nigma, Falcons, PSG.Quest but there will be some more of it in the future for sure as this region is one of the richest and many royals are wanting to invest into esports and they'd surely give a decent salary for the pro teams or players that will want to play under their region as their representative in the global competition.

You have a point there. Nigma Galaxy can underperform when it matters the most, and I lowered my expectations on PSG.Quest too much when they just started playing with their new captain.

I cant seems to win this dota2 betting and yeah I guess you guys should bet on the contrary to what I bet LOL. Its so sick and I guess Im shifting to cs2 again for now. Im not sure if Im going to jinx ur bet by betting onto it as well, might resulted in another loss for me though LOL

Imperial esports were so close to bring a first major win for sportsbet but so far so good as this team is very talented and can grow a lot. Meanwhile , the other brazilian team had a rough day today with Furia losing against Lynn Vision...a team who had x7 odds to win before the game started.
Was watching some of the open stage qualifiers from Copenhagen earlier today and seen Apeks playing. They are good and will be facing Imperial Esports tomorrow bright and early:
https://www.hltv.org/matches/2370611/imperial-vs-apeks-pgl-cs2-major-copenhagen-2024-opening-stage

Heroic did beat Imperial by a close margin, so yeah the Sportsbet.io team are improving and just hope they can make it far in this Major once it gets started as these were the opening stage matches.

True true. Brazilian cs is shifting from Furia being the best team towards Imperial Esports being the best brazilian cs team right now and I love it.

Now , a bit of news from Dota 2 scene where Team Spirit just lost the series against VP and I must say this patch is really not suiting Spirit at all and I'm afraid they won't perform great this year.
Imperial Esports are doing quite well this tournament in the opening stage.
They beat ENCE convincingly then beat Apeks.
These are just BO1 maps so far but the RMR13 seems to suit their teams fast pace better.

So they are on a roll starting this tour in the PGL Majors.

Nah its still too early to conclude that. Nigma Galaxy kinda reminded me of Manchester United, when you thought that they had it then somehow they could lose the next game lol. Anyway aside from The International, the best tournament name for me would be Animajor lol. I kinda love that tournament though and Im hoping that they could bring it back somehow

That would be a miracle if WePlay suddenly announces a tournament, but with the scene on the decline we might not see it happen again, and from what i've heard they're more focused on organizing streamer events.

With the way PSG.Quest performed at the online tournament, we might see Nigma Galaxy potentially qualifying at another tournament. I honestly think the tournament name is fine, maybe they wanted it to be similar to a popular league in sports like the Premier League.
