I wasn't able to watch the G2 - BLG series yesterday due to being busy. But after watching the detailed recap of it I see that Caps was one of the bad players of the day. I saw him even finishing with stats like 1 kill and 7 deaths in one game. Caps is actually a really skilled mid laner but he can't give the expected as for strong opponents like these.

China and Korea teams are still dominating MSI and it doesn't seem like this will change. C9 are the only team left outside these countries in the tournament now. However I'm expecting them to get destroyed by Gen.G as well. NA teams are even worse than EU ones in my opinion.

Just as I said C9's fate was also the same with the other teams across Europe and North America. Gen.G put on a great show today and won comfortably by 3-0 in total.

Now I see that there is this JDG - T1 series in the semi finals tomorrow. I think it can be one of the most delightful series in the tournament. Because JDG won the latest LPL Spring Playoffs against BLG and their playing style has been quite impressive so far. I don't think T1 can win this by not giving any game to their opponent. But still it would most probably end up with a 3-1 or 3-2 T1 win.

SEA was done and I'm now into WEU. And it was a sad start for Team Secret, they've been beaten 2-0 by Team Liquid who was also 0-2 on the first day of this DPC tour 3.

Just want to go back to the SEA where Talon and Blacklist was hot on the 2nd map. But for the first map, it was an easy game for Talon, what a great Dota and perfect executions from them.

On the 2nd map, I thought that Blacklist will take it as there have been too many chokes from 23 with those chronosphere's but then still, thanks to Mikoto's storm.

This is how it looks in MSI right now. JDG were really quite comfortable against BLG by a 3-0 victory. Now they have become T1's opponent in the semi finals. However their job is going to be really difficult of course. Gen.G also tried their best against T1 but it wasn't enough this time. It feels like T1 will win by 3-1 against JDG but let's wait and see.

By the way in that case T1's opponent in the final series can be Gen.G once again. Because I think they are still the strongest team among the teams remaining in lower bracket. If this happens Gen.G will come for a revenge and they showed they had that potential the last time.  Smiley

The balance patch for Dota dropped just before the DPC Tour 3 kicks off within a few hours, and Quinn's heroes (Void Spirit and Pangolier) got nerfed, but that'll only mean he can shift to other good heroes like Puck, Leshrac, and Ember Spirit.  Tongue
The DPC tour 3 is in and I've just watched the first ever game for the SEA region, it's Talon and Team SMG. Both teams have got those heroes you've mentioned, Void Spirit and Pangolier.

Well, it's Mikoto's Void Spirit and that was an easy game for them while Midone played for the Pangolier. As for Quinn, he's honestly got a lot of heroes and this is going to be an easy adjustment for him if those heroes that have been nerfed doesn't look good on him.

3 matches today for the SEA region. There goes the first match and then next matches in particular order will be, Execration vs Bleed and then Blacklist vs Boom.

Just for a note, Bleed's new coach is Misery.

I'm impressed that JDG swept BLG this time, and BLG almost had game 2 in the bag, but it only took one wrong fight in the baron pit to give JDG the win. BLG tried their best to focus on Ruler, but JDG is too good at keeping him alive in most team fights. The upper bracket matchup between T1 and JDG will be tight, but i'm hoping for JDG to win since Gen G will probably have no issue getting to the lower bracket final to guarantee an LCK vs LPL final.  Cheesy

It is getting quite boring as the matchups among them are very predictable. I would love to see a European or North American team to make it to the finals somehow to be the opponent of a Far East team but I know it isn't very realistic to expect now.  Grin
Dude, nothing is impossible, if the results are too obvious, the battles will no longer be attractive  Grin getting into a final seems difficult, but what about semi-final, if they're lucky enough, they'll make it

Of course it is a game in the end so anytime this look can change but there is still a huge gap to fill for European teams against those teams to be honest. I hope they can get better in time and we watch more competitive series.

Today I was able to watch the Gen.G - T1 series. T1 made a wonderful start by getting 2-0 ahead first. They were really stomping their opponent in those games. I liked Gumayusi a lot today by the way. His contribution to the team with his individual performance was really huge. The 3rd game of the series ended by a loss for them and I must admit it was Gumayusi's fault as he became complacent a little and couldn't position himself well. Winning only one fight there opened the doors of comeback for Gen.G and they made it even 2-2.

But T1 still stopped them by a solid effort in the last game. It was lovely to watch these great teams clashing against each other again after LCK.  Smiley

My next play might be to take every over 3.5 maps because we're having a grand finals rematch on three out of the four series aside from G2 vs Mad Lions, and this season all four matchups went over four maps.
really interesting, this inadvertently creates an old scenario, like previous MSIs. Only one team can be selected from each region, and now it's repeating itself. I just had a win this afternoon in the match between T1 and GenG, fortunately they still do what I believe in  Cheesy When it led to game 5, I was really worried when T1 didn't do well in the B05 series lately.

This is the current look of the bracket stage in MSI. Round 1 was really comfortable for Chinese and Korean teams. Because European and North American teams are still far behind Far East countries on League of Legends. This has been the same for many years and still we don't see any change in this situation.

The odds got worse when it closed (from 1.54 to 1.35), but I still took it, knowing it was close to a free win. The second game was the closest out of the three and got me worried when GG led for almost 5k before throwing it back to JDG.  Grin

I just want to see on how Team Secret will react on against GG. Since most of the strong teams that we know of didn't even get a flinched against GG with a series. There have been some losses but those were just like 1 lose for them and then the rest were all victories. Quinn and Armel match up and I know that many are still not yet impressed with Crystallis' performances for the past tournaments but it's all a team play and fight and we'll see how the chemistry of Team Secret with their new mid player Armel goes. They did well on the division 2 way up to their division 1 slot. While Ace is now an offlane for GG, he's been with Team Secret before as their position 1.
Lots of roster changes on which certain players do really go from one team to another. I didnt really expect for Armel to be able to join up a tier 1 team considering that he's been on SEA teams for long.

This does prove out that this guy is really that something have on which top tier teams do make out recognition about his skill. About GG then winning up that recent Berlin Major.
Trying even to look back against Liquid, then it did really show up that there's no really change on beating up this team. Skill execution, response and objectives is really that
crucially been followed.
There are a lot of talents that are willing to explore other regions as long as there's a team that will adopt them. It's good for them to try another region with experienced players and teams as well. That's a win-win for most of those players that are going to a different region because playstyle there is different but they'll surely adopt it as soon as their chemistry clicks in.

For Secret, then lets see on how Puppey would really be making out some nasty plans and looking for some ways on getting in par with GG if ever they would be able to
succeed on rallying on.
I am sure that he's got plans already on them because they've watched GG's matches on the Berlin major.

They could get away with it against the weaker teams, but against Gen.G that won't be easy to pull off.
yes, if we look back a bit, last spring, T1 won against GenG in all previous matches, I thought the championship definitely belonged to them. But in the final, they failed. Technically speaking, this failure is due to psychological factors and poor preparation in the pick and ban stage, they were overconfident in themselves instead of studying their opponent's nasty choices. I hope they don't make this mistake again  Roll Eyes

The Cloud9 series earlier today was a letdown, I thought this would be the first competitive series we'll get in the playoffs, but I was wrong.  Tongue

If the best NA team can't win against the second-best LPL team, then Golden Guardians need to brace themselves for the worse because JDG could speedrun the series if they want to.
it really has a huge difference, when was the last time NA got good results? If I remember correctly it was the semi-final in 2018, it was the only match that I know of, where a team from North America could make it to the semi-finals.

I believe JDP will win 3-0, do you want to bet on the score?  Tongue

But you know what's the most exciting match in my mind? After Gaimin Gladiators won the Lima and Berlin Majors, it seems that they're unbeatable. What match I'm talking about of making me excited? It's this match between them and Team Secret. This is going to be on May 19 in the Western Europe region of this DPC tour 3. So, mark your calendars and don't miss that match.
I see that series ending with a quick 2-0 for GG, but we'll see how they hold up. Right now, I don't have high hopes for Team Secret in beating the top teams, but I think they can squeeze their way through the top 4 similar to how OG did last Tour.

For Dota ...I'm waiting 15th so the next DPC Will begin again and I do hope GG will be nerfed by Valve in a way or another because it's really not funny to watch a single team to dominated like that. If they cannot nerf them , just disband them by buying 2 guys from them as we all know , big teams tends to do that just because of this reason. We have many examples in the past about this strategy.
Haha, it has to come that Valve should nerf GG but anyway, they really are a strong team now. But we've seen teams like this except Tundra that have been consistent with all majors and stuff and made their easy way to winning their own TI title. I wish that GG will also be like them because there have been teams that became lackluster in terms of TI performances and one of them was Team Secret in the past. Although they've made well on their last TI I was talking about the other season year of TI when they performed very well with all majors and then fell short on the actual The International, I think that was 2018 or 2019 CMIIW.

T1 with one hell of a comeback against Mad Lions in game 1 as they tried to go for a similar composition that Gen G did and made it work. They might do it again here in game 2 as they're now 5k ahead and Mad Lions look hopeless atm.
that seems to be a test of the new lineup they want to use in the future, although it got off to a bad start when Faker kept lying down. But they can still return to the game after small skirmishes with a difference of up to 7K money. It really is something that T1, or SKT T1 have always been able to do since their empire was founded. T1 may not be the strongest team, but they've always been a team with awesome teamfights  Roll Eyes

I'd say the nerf would be more likely to happen than disbanding the team since I don't see any players from GG moving to another team when this is their best chance to win TI. We'll probably get a balance patch sometime soon, but I still think that won't be enough to put GG down.

I've been slacking off with CS:GO for over an year but this Blast Major so far is freaking amazing! So many new teams that are on top ( at least for me ) that I didn't knew about them but have experienced players in their teams.
