Apeks vs Monte right now is a 3 map match I'd guess.    They both did great in the major and are literally ranked next to each other.

s1mple had the capability to be in every major though he is younger but besides that his behavior when he was younger was way off the mark of what would have allowed him to be on any major team despite his skill.   So he had to progress to where he is now and is lucky he is even allowed, Swag another player of that early era is banned forever unfortunately; one of the greatest players I think he went to 2 majors total.

Funny how Puppey said that if his team makes it to TI this year "Everyone is f...ed"  Grin Grin and to be true , they have 4th , 3rd , 2nd place in the last 3 TI's ...so there is actually a chance for them to win it Grin. Meanwhile , they have a very long road to go and it looks like last TI qualifiers chance might be their last hope or they go nuts now and win every game they have left in DPC.
After their loss against Entity, there's no way they can qualify through DPC points, and they should worry about avoiding relegation first because they only have two series left.

Earlier today, Quest with a shocking loss against D1 Hustlers, and they somehow found success with their carry Medusa. I thought this should be a freebie for Quest, but they got punished in game 3 for not respecting D1 Hustlers' pick from the first game, where they lost. They could've secured fourth place if they won this series, and now the other teams such as OG and Entity can force a tiebreaker.

There goes the pattern and their social media page that it should be 1st on the next TI.  Cheesy

They're still alive and their next match is about to happen within the next 30 minutes as of typing this. They need to win against Entity so that they can still breathe and keep going hoping that they'll be ending going to Bali and won't relegate to division 2.

Also news from OG.Taigo who is having some life issues ..with depression and anxiety rounds and I do hope the guy gets a well deserved treatment and make a comeback because the Dota 2 fans really likes him as a person but as a player as well.
AFAIK, it's the same with K1 that has announced his vacation as well due to the same reason.

They can't be sure with that but they need to force themselves to win the remaining games so that they won't be back to the division 2. That's sad if they'll be back to div 2 just after going to div 1.
They finally got one on the board after sweeping D1 Hustlers with ease, and it was so clean they only gave 12 kills to the side of D1 Hustlers. Their next series will be against Entity and it'll be a crucial series to avoid relegation because I think it's their best chance to get a second win when compared to their series next week.

Entity pulled a decent performance against Gaimin Gladiators and stole the first map, but their drafting in the next two games was pretty bad. They gave Gaimin Gladiators an easy time completing the reverse sweep. If they still believe in the Windranger pick, then Team Secret might have no problem winning their last series for this week because Entity has been picking that hero so much (5/8 games), and it's a guaranteed loss.
Yeah, I've missed that match but that's good on them. They have to win against Entity but I don't think that it's going to be easy for them. Entity managed to win 1 against GG yesterday but still GG got them entirely.

As of now going on other region on EEU. We've got early games and I'm watching BetBoom against One Move which isn't a familiar team on division 1. But it's a surprise that these teams are struggling on this region, VP and Team Spirit.

The production level from Blast was amazing however the trophy which they presented to the winners was shit.
I like how Vitality ran a similar run to NaVi where they didn't lose a single match in the whole tournament to win the PGL Stockholm 2021.

s1mple couldn't perform the way he can, npl isn't the one. Maybe NaVi should look out for a new member and also hire a Psychologist as their team is running through a difficult phase.
dupreeh is the most special player among all professional CS GO players for me from now on. Because he has won 5 Majors in his career with this one and he is the only player who has made it. Maybe people had many different ideas about his performances so far but they should still respect him about this a lot.

True, s1mple is the G.O.A.T. however dupreeh is the most consistent player ever in the history of CS:GO. However, I started playing CS after watching GeT_RiGhT.
So him playing in the final show match of the final CS:GO Major was a very romantic scene for me.

olof, pasha, JW, flusha, fallen, coldzera are also a piece of history which will forever remain alive in CS.
Fallen is on the Imperial Esports squad and Olof from what I remember is announcing for these professional matches now.
JW and Flusha are names that are too familiar to the CS scene as well.
Coldzera I believe is still playing too but have seen him moving around from team to team recently so hard to pin point on who he will be with from week to week.

But yes, Dupreeh had his spot in the limelight during and certainly after this last major tournament has ended.

What an era it was for CounterStrike but now we have another to begin very soon with Source 2.
Think it will be in November for the team coaches and players to have their summer break.

When it comes to Vitality they have been an incredible team in the recent times. You must have seen how great job they did in Paris Major. It was a Major in their home country so it was extra important for them to achieve a solid result. They really played much better than ever and deserved to get that championship at the end.

4 matches remaining for them and they're at the bottom zero of the rankings as of now. They have to win at least most of those matches.
Three out of the four remaining matches would be winnable for them since they're already faced the top teams like Team Liquid and GG.
Yes, that's much likely it is. But I think that they won't just think like this as most of the teams in here can still give the strongest team knockouts.

They can't be sure with that but they need to force themselves to win the remaining games so that they won't be back to the division 2. That's sad if they'll be back to div 2 just after going to div 1.

I saw Bleed with these odds, and i'm surprised the bookies didn't value their win against Talon that much, as they're the only team without a loss in the SEA region. I don't see BOOM being on the same level as Bleed when they can't even beat Execration while Bleed already took down two good teams and are only a few wins away from securing the first spot for the Bali Major.

Good thing that the Bali major won't be organized by them but it's going to be IO sports and Epulze. We've been seeing how Epulze is organizing these SEA DPC tournaments together with Lima major and there's no problem with them.

Valve should be picky with these majors and won't just award it to these shitty organizers that haven't done well and instead of praises, they've received criticisms.

Going for some past matches these days, Bleed swept Talon and IIRC this is the first time that they've been beaten by another sea team.
The production level of Epulze tbh is almost close to PGL if you've watched the Lima major, but I hope their collaboration with IO Esports would make a big difference this time.
We will see it then on the upcoming Bali major if there have been some improvements. I don't like the openness of both teams while they hear shouts and screams of the fans also the casting.

It's better that there's always the sound proof room if the teams are going to play on the stage.

Did anyone watch the WEU DPC earlier today? Team OG with the reverse sweep handing Team Secret their third loss, and now both newly promoted teams are the only ones without a win.

Team Liquid with an impressive win beating Gaimin Gladiators 2-0 while Tundra had no problem sweeping D1 Hustlers.
That was an excellent sweep made by team Liquid against GG.

While many have been optimistic about Team Secret's stepping up on this division, it seems that they're lacklusters. 4 matches remaining for them and they're at the bottom zero of the rankings as of now. They have to win at least most of those matches.

Now I see that there is this JDG - T1 series in the semi finals tomorrow. I think it can be one of the most delightful series in the tournament. Because JDG won the latest LPL Spring Playoffs against BLG and their playing style has been quite impressive so far. I don't think T1 can win this by not giving any game to their opponent. But still it would most probably end up with a 3-1 or 3-2 T1 win.
Unfortunately, i'm on the JDG train, and the series felt like it was close to a grand final. Cheesy When T1 was up 2-1, I thought we'll see a 3-1 result because whenever JDG lose a 5v5 team fight T1 always sprints it down mid and destroys their base before they can defend. Luckily, T1 had a bad draft in game 4 similar to game 1, then in game 5, it came down to who will make the more costly mistake, and T1 starting a 4v5 fight hoping to get a pick off backfired and cost them the series.
Watched abit of the JDG match and they were looking solid but then after returning saw it was 1-1 for BiliBili gaming.
But they couldn't save from JDG who had won their first MSI 2023 Championship in League of Legends.

Quest is such an underrated team, for those that don't know them. They're formerly known as Ooredoo Thunders. Entity is also a strong team but they've been swept by Quest so easily. And ATF is with the Quest.
Team Liquid dropped a map against D1 Hustlers just now, and it's not surprising when they went for a Windranger carry, and I already saw how that went after watching one of OG's games.
The game ended 2-1 but it's still with Team Liquid.
Two days from now, two bottom teams OG and Team Secret will have their match.
ATF is truly a gigachad of Dota 2 right now and he is in this form for 2 years now and I'm glad to finally see him happy with Quest because he deserves it.
Same goes for Sumail who right now , he is leaving his best moments of his Dota 2 careers in DPC China. More than this , DPC China is giving a lesson to PGL Dota in Europa and American because they have setup a LAN event for DPC games and they have a crowd as well. Don't sleep on this guys , because it means Dota 2 China teams will have LAN experience on every game they are playing in DPC right now.  Cool
You got that right!

Paris presentation was spot on for the grand final with the announcers mentioning it was the very last time to witness CS:GO in tournament play every chance they got.
We saw several veteran players announcing they were leaving aswell.

I also saw some posts going through the subreddit, as some couldn't help but compare the level of production between the different regions. I wouldn't mind having PGL as long as they won't be the ones organizing the future majors.

It wasn't a result that I was surprised about because I was already waiting for JDG to win the series. It was a similar result to the last LPL final series between them. BLG could have carried the series to Game 5 but they were really stomped by JDG in the last game. JDG are really something else now. They are playing like a complete team even against very tough opponents. If the final series was played with Patch 13.10 it would have been quite interesting as well. Because there is a big change for ADCs.  Grin
I was also hoping for a game 5 because of how stompy the games were, but BLG's draft in game 4 wasn't good enough for a win. The upper bracket final was more entertaining, but props to BLG for pulling the upset twice in a row.

Yeah, he's good with Quest and it's another underrated team and I think he's gonna have a good future with them if they keep on continuing on these tournaments gaining experiences from other pro teams. His contribution to the team will make even better because even with a short span from being part of OG and Nigma, that will tell a lot on them.

In all honesty for Xu Mail, this is one of the best transitions that I've ever seen. Most of these pro players from other regions except China, they don't want to go there because of the communication barrier but I don't know if Xu Mail really knows some basic chinese words or it's just plainly a Dota 2 communication that's happening within Team Aster. As of now, in the CN 2023, they're doing a good job at the opening of it. We might even see them again at the Bali Major.

Surprising we have Gamerlegion in the finals of this farewell tournament for CS: 1.6
Last time I remember watching them play was earlier in the major against OG.
But they must have really sharpened their Counterstrike I.Q since then as they will be facing the home ground favorites in Team Vitality for the title in this major that will be ushering out the old Global Offensive code and heralding in the new with Source 2.
