Some very good matches in the PGL RMR Americas in Copenhagen earlier on today with Liquid beating BOSS and Imperial blanking out paiN.

In doing so, Sportsbet's own Imperial Esports qualifies for the major in the tournament. Last time they did was back at Rio 2022.
Congratulations guys!

Anyway, Im backing XG -1.5 against OG tonight

XG at game 1.

And as the game 2 is in progress at 20 minute mark, it seems that this is going to be an XG game again.

Well , I think this is a quick 2-0 for Xtreme gaming against OG because OG is far from what they used to be and even if they have Timado as carry , this doesn't change much and we can see this by how they play.
They have to adjust with their gameplay because Timado just got in this Dream League and they don't have much time to practice. But it seems they're really going to get this 2-0 for XG.

Looking pretty good on this as XG has won the first map. I personally think the cheat code to get decent profit would be backing BetBoom, Falcons and XG to win on their remaining games though unless they play against each another. Well we got BB against Falcons tomorrow, personally I think this is going to be over 2.5 maps but you guys know recently the odds for over maps sucks so bad

Overall today I'm happy for BetBoom as I was a fan of this team since they grouped up and I think they are becoming better and better with each day passing by and I won't be surprised to see them winning ESL Birmingham but also current season of DreamLeague. Cool

I can't believe that Aurora after winning Group stage without any real threats , they are now 0-2 in first 2 games and already down 1 map against GG that might turn into 0-3 and basically out of the DreamLeague s22 in proportion of 90%.
They're always like this, they're good at group stages but ends up badly when they're on the next phase. For three days of this group stages 2, they've only won once against Team Spirit but the rest, they're all like 2-0. They're contender to get out of this tournament for sure as they're on the bottom 2 together with OG. But OG has the last game for this day against Xtreme gaming, if they win twice against them then they won't be any longer part of the bottom 2. The rest, there's 4 days remaining for all of them to at least win some games and get out of that elimination.

Now , I don't want to be rude , but what are they drafting ? because they are drafting a mix between China and old Talon style and they didn't do this in Group stages where they played their own style and won.
I have no problem with their draft but their coach sunbhie probably is just picking all of those heroes that they are comfortable with. As you can see, they don't have a large pool of heroes and even they're too good in some clutch games, they choke in any moment and that's like a SEA problem that they're having right now. Once they are able to get a lead, they're having hard time in maintaining it and they have to check that out and review their games because if they don't do any good for their remaining games, they'd go home too early.

The thing is, they cant stay with the same draft all over again because all the remaining teams probably have already gotten hold of how they play but in the end changing all that kinda backfired to them. Still few more games to go for Aurora but at this point, they gotta need to keep on winning or else they are not going to proceed to playoff. Its kinda impossible with their remaining fixtures though, they still havent play against XG and Falcons

Anyway, Im backing XG -1.5 against OG tonight

Huge nees yesterday as sentinels make it to valorant masters for the first time in almost three years

They beat nrg in an upset, the third map was never close as sentinels won clutch after clutch.

This would boost masters viewership massively as sentinels fanbase is #1

OG's draft was too good so I only got 1/2 on the tiebreaker games.  Tongue

I'll tail you on the XG bet, they're too good to be the slight underdogs and BetBoom is rated too high by the bookies based on their first group stage results.

Gosh I should have just taken single bet on both of those. I lost mine because GG couldnt do a thing against Falcon. I guess we all could agree that the current Falcons is looking pretty good. Its abit of overestimation from me but I guess they are going to make it through to top 4 atleast from what I've seen on their games against GG today.

Team Spirit and Falcons to win tomorrow could be a good bet though

BB vs OG right now at DreamLeague S22 and I must say I didn't expect OG to perform this good with Timado as carry but it proved me wrong and he is indeed a top tier carry. However , I don't think anyone can stop BetBoom right now besides Xtreme gaming and Falcons so that's why I see this Bo3 series going into BB favor.  Cool

Most fans were happy to see that Tundra Esports were done on this DreamLeague season 22. I guess that team is just good because topson is there. Once topson leaves, who are they going to recruit?
There are still a few good players from the SEA region like Mikoto and Abed. For me, they're the few good mid players who could thrive if paired with good teammates.

Anyway here is my bet for tomorrow

I think XG and GG will win, its just straight up winner bet

I agree it's unusual to see them go cold like this after their performance in the BB tournament. Others said it's due to the online format since they did have bad results even in the previous DreamLeague seasons.

Well still for a team like Team Liquid, its pretty hard to even expect that they would gone cold only on the first group stage considering that there are even some other teams that are worse compared to them overall

Yeah, at least the bo2s are over and there's still a bunch of tiebreaker matches waiting before we move on to the next phase. I got my bets on GG to win both, surely they wouldn't fall short against VP and OG.

Too bad that you only win one of it, OG is pretty good though with their new roster and I personally think they could even qualify to the playoff as well

They're no longer the roster that they've won with the TI title.

They're just too considerate with their team members and I felt bad when MC got kicked there on an actual tournament and got replaced quickly.

but Team Liquid though, they were one of the best team around especially after signing 33 which was one of the best pos 3 as well but they were knocked out pretty early. They have around 3500 EPT points already so I guess they are changing 1 player max soon after this rough tournament session because there wont be any penalty for it.

Anyway, the 2nd group stage is going to be fun to bet on because its bo3 games

We're on the final day of the first group stage and we already have two good teams (G2.IG and Team Liquid) eliminated from the tournament.

Imagine if those two turn up later today only to screw their opponent's chances of qualifying.  Tongue

Don't forget about LGD gaming but yeah, most of them are in a rise again and with the Dream League season 22 it seems that they're not doing good in the group stages but only Xtreme gaming.
Right, I almost forgot about them after their good run in GOTF.

Chinese teams cum back?  Grin

Honestly, they're really strong this time. But let's see on TI or even in the next big tournaments like was it Riyadh Masters where the prize pool is high? Those tournaments do matters.
The Chinese teams are indeed on the rise, at least the top 3 (Xtreme Gaming, Azure Ray, and G2.IG), as they mostly have veteran players who recently returned to the scene.

Yeah, that's now the points system that they have. Actually, it doesn't really have any difference at all and just the name was changed. It's still the same format that teams get these EPT points and that will be their ticket to a grander tournament by EPT.

There are alot of significance on the current system. Well aside from the points received, I think the huge difference lies on the roster change. There was a huge penalty for team that switch their members throughout the season last year and iirc it carries to negative point eventhough your team is already on 0 point while current any team with 0 point could use unlimited roster exchange whenever they feel the teams are not working as it should be
That's true about roster changes. Look at how tundra esports replaced MC before their match. That's terrible if the organizers are allowing this to happen.

And Timado also shared his thought about it because he came from Tundra too that he's replaced too at the very last minute. Good thing that OG took him as standin.

The prizepool listed is wrong though, prizepool is $1M
Yeah it did seem off at first when I saw it. Since Riyadh tournaments prize was $15 million for winning which was significantly more.
This years is said to be worth $45 million which is a mind blowing amount for an Esports tournament.

Unexpected change from Tundra while the DreamLeague tournament is ongoing, they kicked MC before their series was about to start and had to find a last-minute substitute to fill his spot.  Shocked

It's unusual to see a player lose their spot during the tournament when changes should always be done after.
