Team Spirit has been the most consistent honestly all over this year. Forget about all the LANs that Gaimin Gladiators dominated as the prize pool of those were too little compared to the tournaments that Team Spirit has won and even this TI isn't that much in prize pool, the credential and achievement of it is totally different from those that have been in the DPC tournaments.

We will see that but it's likely that Team Spirit so far has been good for these two days and we'll see how they'll perform on the phase two seeding. But I am sure that they want to get into the upper bracket as the matches there are much easier and don't have to go through hell in the lower bracket and that's why they'll have to win against Shopify Rebellion later and that's plausible.

LGD is already adjusted and back on top to their region while Gaimin is already struggling in the previous tournament so I will not be surprised if they will show slow start on this tournament. They still have a pretty decent standing so far but the second round will dictate whether they are just hiding strategy or they just can’t catch up to the new patch.

Team Spirit is indeed the heavy favorite now after they flawless performance on Riyadh Master. Watching TI is not the same fun for me without old teams like OG, Secret and Nigma(Kuroky). End of an era for the old teams which I’m following when I’m still new on Dota2.

Already on Day 2.

Team spirit, Team Liquid, LGD gaming, Tundra esports are the 4 teams that had dominated on designated groups.
Thunder Awaken had already dropped or goes to airport. EG and VP are on verge on going on the same path too.
IF ever that Talon Esports would be able to beat up Quest on this Game 2 (currently playing/ongoing) which they might be able to
climb on rank 4 on Group D which they might still be able to climb onto phase 2.

Totally gets thrilling and exciting on which i didnt even expect that Sea team would really be able to compete out on international stages.

Team Spirit is playing next level Dota right now. The way they play as a team , the way Yatoro farms and the way supports are rotate around their cores...is simply unmatchable from any other team from TI and that says a lot.

After 1 day :

Strong teams : Spirit , Tundra , Liquid , Azure , LGD.

Not so strong : BB , Entity and GG.

Bottom and maybe first eliminated : EG , VP , Talon and TA.

It's not a major but more of a TI version of LoL since only the best teams from each region receive a slot. I'm only betting on it because I thought it'd be more predictable, but it's been the other way around(three upsets out of the six series played).

I'm currently watching ROAD TO TI12: GROUP STAGE - Tundra Esports vs. TSM (BO2).

An offlane Invoker pick seems kind of strange for EG. I've never seen Invoker picked as an offlaner before. However, there's nothing new in the pro scene even Udying from the last TI, has been played as a carry.
EG has late-game heroes. I'm going to pick EG for the late game. Entity has strong early game. My series pick is 2-0 in favor of Entity.

31 minutes of the game and Entity wins the first game. Well, I have never expected that Invoker offlane won't be like this as it looks like it doesn't have any help at all. The game was kind of slow at the beginning and stuck like from the KDA of 3-3 and then Entity just got it all. An illusion lineup with CK + Naga siren which is good and these illusions are all tanky. Even in the late game, I think that the EG will still have a hard time on this one because two carries on the side of Entity so, that offlane CK transitioning to a hitter and gives some help in physical damage to Naga and that's what happened on this match, Entity just opened their group stages with a good win and this gives the confidence to them as I am waiting for the game 2. And with Tundra and TSM, seems like Tundra just won quickly their first game.

I think so too.

And for me the easiest one would be the group D. But again, with TI, I don't want to be judgemental and as with all of these participating teams. All of them are worthy to be in here and did go through the hole of a needle before being qualified.

They're both like the most sought tournaments for both esports and what a coincidence that both of their prize pools are close to each other. However, it's that Dota 2 is more than like $500k-$700k.

My Worlds' bets have been shitting the bed, but I got one back after live betting on Team Whales to win map 3. BDS had the edge in drafts during the second and third maps, while their synergy became nonexistent after the first map.

We have a bunch of tight series today, as the winners of each series will advance to the qualification match. I got Loud+1.5 in the first series and i'm leaning on Team Whales +1.5 for the other series. After the upsets, i'm starting to think the favorites don't deserve the odds they get and are more vulnerable to dropping a map.

The group stages and their respective matches are all out. So, that's 5 teams for each group A-D. Why does it feel like this TI is going to be so quick for me? I am expecting him to be part of the panel. Just like how Ceb and N0tail have been invited for the past TIs to be part of it when they failed to qualify for TI. Either being an analyst or panelist. Whichever is going to be offered to him by Valve, it's just so fine to see him still part of TI but not as a player if it does happen. The list talents were also out and I'm trying to find his name but it's not yet there and hopefully that he'll be part of it soon.

I don't follow LOL worlds but it's just so amazing to see that these esports are having their own best tournaments happening at the same time. So if you're a fan of both Esports then that means that it's an entire day run for yourself to sit back and relax and watch a lot of actions for TI and worlds.

I'm continuing my bets for Worlds, as the matches will start in a few hours. Time to go chalk mode today because the skill gap between each region is too wide to expect an upset like yesterday's series between GAM and Loud. The closest series would probably be the DFM vs CFO series, but i'd put CFO's skill level similar to PSG given they come from the same region and only lost 3-2 to them in the finals. They might be the second-best team in the group unless Team Whales makes a miracle against BDS.
