Yes, that was the last ever CS GO tournament ever to be played as other tournaments already had moved over to CS2. There are still a fair few bugs in CS2 so, it will be interesting how it goes. A chance to see a lot more innovative strats now with CS2 as they have different smoke interaction now.

Mouz just had better aimers and IGL. Alexib(NAVI) has lost his last 5 bo5 series as 0-3. He was good while he was in Ence, but that's been a long long time now.

I was super hyped for yesterdays ESL pro league finals Navi vs Mouz

Navi was on a 5 series win streak without dropping a map and Mouz were as well on a 4 series win streak vs teams like G2,ENCE,FAZE 

The result was highly surprising as mouz took it 3-0 !!  They started as slight favorites but nobody would imagine Navi dont win a single map!



All 4 Mouz players except IGL ofc  were +ve KDA and even s1mple finished with negative KDA 
Torzsi rightfully named as MVP,

Its a great win for Mouz however they might have peaked at the wrong time as all tournaments are now moving to CS 2

Monte have won the last 3 games, which shows that they are strong and the game against NAVI will be hot. This game will take place tomorrow, the odds for Monte to win are 2.94, which is attractive to me because I said earlier that I often bet above x2. Of course this is risky, but in this case I expect that Monte will win more than once out of 3 times, which in the long run leaves us with a reward. Of course, I don’t recommend doing what I did, because it’s risky)

I haven’t tried playing CS2 yet, because I know that if I start playing, I’ll spend days and days in it with my friends. In fact, I spent many thousands of hours on CS 1.6, then on CS:GO. I like to play, but at some point I realized that my life was passing me by and I stopped. I love CS, I really like to see that the game received a sequel in the form of CS2, but I won’t play it at the moment. At least that's what I decided. But of course I will monitor its development.

Those matches did happen the way I predicted with my bets winning yesterday.
Also for today I had Monte on the over for rounds on my betslip along with Natus Vincere getting the -1.5 maps which they did quite easily against Eternal Fire.

So a good little run of two days in a row in the ESL Pro League Playoffs since they began.
In what many have called an underdog tournament since many of the higher ranked teams got beaten by the lower ones already.

It happened exactly as you said. Congratulations on your excellent results! BIG came very close to winning the first half of the match 11-4, but ultimately lost. This could really get on your nerves. Eternal Fire showed strong morale on Vertigo. I hope the bets will be also successful. Right now they are playing NAVI against Eternal Fire and the winner will play against Monte. Prior to this, Monte defeated Team Vitality in the quarterfinals.

Valve released CounterStrike Source 2 yesterday so it is finally out of beta testing and available for all to experience for themselves instead of watching the privileged and the pros playing it:

I am on Eternal Fire as well for this match which begins in a few minutes to start off the day in ESL Pro league playoffs day 2.

We have the follow matches ready to being with the first two then the next set in around 3.5 hours from now.

Team Spirit was one of the surprise teams back then. No one knew them until they won the TI. They are all new and very young players and won the biggest prize pot in DOTA history. I remember I lost a lot of bets because of them. I never expected to beat Team Secret and PSG.LGD back then. But their Magnus strat back then was unbeatable. I think this is the closest they can get to the form they had when TorontoTokyo was still with them.




It is just about time that Larl syncs with the team in terms of chemistry. Team Spirit has been patiently waiting for him to truly show his skills. And in the last two tournaments they had, Larl finally is showing his true skills and synergy with Team Spirit. They are finally ready for TI. I do not think that they will dominate TI but I think the teams that has been dominating DPC this year will have something to fear in TI. GG and Team Liquid better watch their back since Team Spirit is back in their form when they won their TI championship back in 2021.

Here is my bet for the ESL Pro League later.

BIG (2.15) vs Eternal Fire (1.62) BIG can still snatch this game under Eternal Fire even though they are underdog in this game. I think BIG is showing some good games but Eternal Fire is more consistent. Let's see if Eternal can hold their own against BIG.

Complexity Gaming (1.72) vs Monte (2.00) There is no clear winner in this series but I am just betting based on their current rank. MOnte is coming from a win though and Complexity Gaming is from a lost. So, maybe Complexity will exert more effort not to have a back-to-back losses.

Virtus.pro just a little short. The 2 maps (Mirage, Overpass) that they lost were with a score of 16-14. This may hit the morale of the team, but I think they can handle it. Nevertheless, they took 13-16th place and earned $20 thousand. Virtus.pro also became the champion of the second stage of Europe League 2023 (+$42 thousand)

In the next round, 9z will compete with Movistar Riders. Bookmakers prefer 9z with odds of 1.78. It will be interesting to watch them to see if they can show the same performance against other teams. It will be unexpected if they win the tournament in the end)

Eternal Fire had just a massacre of this Astralis team being the first top teams to be beaten by a lower tiered one.
Monte beating Fnatic was the next upset of the first day of the playoffs sending the favorites of that match out of the tournament aswell.
MOUZ beating the brazilians was the next somewhat of an upset since they were on a winning streak from the last one.
But the biggest shock of today had to be Virtus.Pro getting absolutely decimated by a new team to the tour in 9z.
They were 1.38x odds before the match and I had 1.65x for the -1.5 maps for the favorites of the entire day.
But they fell to this team from China.
Reminds me of Lynn Vision the rather new team on the tour and the other squad from China.

I have bets on all matches today whether it be over 22.5 rounds for map 1 or a -1.5 on maps.
It should be a thrilling first day of the playoffs for this long tournament in CS!

Larl is really good. Mira alone managed to steal aegis from Roshan when there were 5 opponents. Collapse on Brew Master in solo broke the throne of the enemy. In general, there were many powerful moments. I think that at the TI something may change. I do not rule out that they may relax too much, this will not be an easy walk.

TI's always surprise. I am sure that this time there will also be something unpredictable. We all remember TI6 when WINGS suddenly appeared on the Dota scene, unexpectedly reached the grand final and defeated Digital Chaos there. Also, 2 victories in a row from the OG team, who won TI8 and TI9, were unexpected for me. Or let’s remember how Team Spirit won TI10: they left the group in 4th place and went through the entire losers’ bracket from the very beginning to the Grand Final. I just can't wrap my head around this.

The thing is Dreamleague and Riyadh Master have only invited a few teams, so it's certain that TI's results will be different. However there's no doubt that Team Spirit still has the highest chance of winning this TI.

In my opinion the best team that can match up with Team Spirit is Azure Ray, with their current roster.

Yes, they've won again and become champions for this Dream League. If we're going to count their games and standings during this playoffs, they only made 1 loss against SR and it's not during the finals but only on the upper bracket final. And then they've got the rematch on the grand finals against SR. I guess the curse is real with them on the SR side. Ever since they've been with EG before, they always end up either 3rd or 2nd place. That's hurting but still not bad as a finish but it's something different if they win their finals as SR.

Team Spirit back with their TI form now that Collapse is finally master the current meta and Larl already well synchronized to the team. YatoroGod is trully the one true carry since he is unstoppable once he already got the space he needed.

I believe too that they have high chance of winning TI since their performance on Dreamleague and Riyadh Master is both consistent dominant. This is their same pattern when they first won their TI. I don’t know what team can match them now that GG is already struggling on this Meta.

Team Spirit still won DreamLeague Season 21 and received 300k in prize money. In the grand final it’s 3-0 on the maps, but if you take the final of the winners against SB, then it’s 2-1. If you look at the total, 5-1 in favor of Team Spirit on the cards, this is a stunning result. If they approach the TI in the same form, then the chances of winning will be great. After winning here, they are given odds of 5.3, but before that it was 7.8. I remember that I’m not a fan of betting on who will win the tournament, but it’s interesting from the point of view of setting odds and I'm keeping an eye on it.

SR won the third game and it is the counterpart of BetBoom in their region that's likely going to win this season for DreamLeague 21, Team Spirit. They are just freakingly good and they play like this, I just hope that they won't choke in the TI and they will show the same performance just as this season for Dream League. Right now, 2-0 in favor of Team Spirit on this grand finals and just one more win away and they'll be winning a whopping $300,000 as the cash prize for the first/champion of this DL season 21.

To be fair, Shopify has the chance to close it yet they keep it long game since RTZ commits a lot of mistake amd fight the long game farm toe to toe with Yatoro. The difference on Pos 1 skills is so high. Abed is indeed carrying the whole game while RTZ the one should closed it failed to deliver due to his bad positioning and itemization. He should purchase that BKB earlier since he was keep being pick up by Spirit many times and he can’t high grounds since he doesn’t have spell immunity.

I dunno who calls about Aegis will go to Saberlight but that’s laughable. Wth with that strategy while RTZ is always being killed easily. 

If Lulba can draft a good line-up that doesn’t focus much on relying to RTZ late game then Shopify Rebellion has the chance to win. Lulba always draft a hero that rely too much on RTZ being online and hard carry the team late game while RTZ sometimes failed to deliver just like what happened on game 2 against BB.

Shopify needs to focus their for Abed since he is the real play maker and carrying the team. RTZ can’t carry if Abed doesn’t give him enough space on early to mid game while Yatoro on the other team is a monster on farming and carrying even with worst case scenario. Shopify Rebellion winning chance is based on how they draft heroes for Abed.
