@dbshck Looks like you nailed both of your bets if you indeed put Heroic to win as you no doubt did.
They had a good outing with handing Rooster a zero for their efforts.
Monte did take a map off of BIG so they did struggle so the odds maybe were right for this occasion with giving the Germans a slight advantage @1.78x

While checking for some more videos on professional players doing their own beta testing with matches for CS2:

ESL Pro League is about to kick off in around 30 minutes from now with Heroic vs Rooster and BIG vs Monte.

This first match for their groups can be seen here on the official ESL youtube channel:

I'm pretty confused with the Big vs. Monte odd. Their odds are almost equal at 1.78 v 1.95 despite BIG winning a comfortable 2-0 against Monte in the CCT grand final last week. Or am I missing something? Anyway, I'm gonna bet on BIG hoping they can win again this time. As for Heroic vs. Roster, no question it's gonna be so one-sided Cheesy

Nice call! I missed yesterday matches and i probably would have bet monte so i got saved!  Grin

I absolutely do not trust heroic anymore and i think best bet is to just bet BIG handicap on every map or take them live

Also gotta take a shot at those big EG odds as mouz havent shown anything with this lineup to justify such big odds  Huh

DOTA2: Does anyone remember what happened to the wild card tournament for the Dota2 TI? I remember that there’s this kind of tournament last year that give chance to top 2 and 3 on regional qualifiers to compete with other same rank on other divisions for an extra 2 spot for the TI.

I’m surprised that this wild card was removed since the next tournament will be TI already. This tournament is really cool since last year TI was finished 2nd and 3rd place(Secret and Liquid) are both product of this wild card tournament if I'm not mistaken. Last chance tournament is the other description of this tournament.

I agree the LCQ format was great since it gave the runner-ups from each region another attempt at qualifying. I guess they removed it because it's like giving the EU region an extra two slots, assuming most of the teams from their region are always a cut above the rest.

The thing i dont like with this upcoming TI in Dota 2 is that they didnt really launched that Battle pass on which this is what i do excitedly been waiting
year by year on buying up those sets. New skins and new perks or whatsoever.  Grin
I also miss spending a bit on the battle pass almost every year, but at least they have a good reason for stopping it.  Cheesy

Valve changed the qualifier through the regional qualifiers, no prize pool but only the slot for the International 12. In the past TIs, this didn't just happen on TI11 but many times before. I like this much more because there's more action and it's just close to the main event which is the group stages. I remember that time when many talents were discovered during those wild cards. I hope that they will return this format next year because this regional qualifier sucks, many team where have a lot of fan base are not going to participate the TI12 because of having few slot only.

Vitality are the heavy favorites in their later match today too. So we will see if they can defeat Movistar Riders.
Vitality took the first map rather comfortably (16-10). I expect them to crush Movistar on the second map as Movistar almost never played Inferno. On the other hand, it's one of Vitality's best maps.

FURIA are looking wobbly against Grayhounds and they were heavy favorites prematch @1.08x
For the group A last match, I'm going to bet against FURIA again. Agree, their first map against Grayhound didn't inspire confidence at all.

All group A teams won 2:0 for their matches.
Unfortunately, Gamerlegion fell flat on their map pick overpass with only getting four rounds couldn't win anymore after that and ended up getting blown out 16-4 by FURIA.
The first map went into overtime by a tactic from GL that I had never seen before.
If you have a chance to watch that round which had them get the 15th round, you should go and watch it.
Time for the plant ran out but CT was running away thinking they won the round but CL killed them so won.
The only highlight of the entire match for me.
Alot of CS left for this tournament left to go just hope the remaining teams who advance have more fight in them then what we had watched with a team just displaying total domination over another as we all iust witnessed for today's matches.

Remembered that one on which to those who had able to reach out 2-3rd place on regional qualifiers had really the chance on proving themselves on getting a slot on TI which even myself
did expect that there might be some possibility that it would be applied now but it seems that they dont do it now which same as you said that the next tourney would be already TI.
Lots of tier 1 teams had been able not to get in specially on SEA which results arent really that expected even on that OG too.

I had pretty decent size bet on Astralis map 1 vs NIP and they lost 0-2 on their best map,
Yesterday i took Furia vs nip and they won 2-0

so by obvious logic expecting Astralis to win 2-0,  okay maybe 2-1 with nuke being the second map

Next series up is GL vs NIP today , im expecting a 2-1 for GL with both teams winning their own map picks

only other esport to bet today is LEC bds vs fnatic and thats  just draft betting

I don't know if they can beat them because noticed this Australian team were down 2-9 on their second map against ORKS being down a map and they ended up winning it anyways. So you know this unknown team among the top tier teams are hungry for some hardware this year.
Team Vitality, Astralis and Movistar Riders have all qualified for the playoffs for this season 18 of ESL Proleague.

Vitality are the heavy favorites in their later match today too. So we will see if they can defeat Movistar Riders.

Congratulations to all three of them. I have watch majority of the games from these qualified teams and it seems too easy for them when it has come to their last qualifying matches.
I agree they had a shaky start in the first few days and kept improving as they progressed further in the qualifiers. Also, it was interesting to see a few unexpected teams (Luna Galaxy, Blacklist, and Team Zero) get pushed to their full potential.
Blacklist really got more than my expectation. I guess that the addition of 343 and Xepher as their coach and assistant coach helped them a lot.
Because with their other tournament games, they have been too weak IMHO that the expectation of many got them far. That's it, the qualifiers are done and the 20 teams are now complete for the grand The International 12. The prize pool haven't been announced yet and it's like a surprise prize pool. Talking about the prize, it was still Team Spirit that has taken the most of it when they've won on TI2021 raking them $18M being the champ.

Huge upset in esl pro league today, as movistar again win 2-0 beating GL. I was really confident on GL and they dont even win a map
Esl pro league is the hardest csgo tourn to bet on for me
Yeah they've been playing so well in EPL, dominant 2-0 against FURIA and GamerLegion. Can't wait to see them playing against Vitality, the odds is stacked against them at the moment (7.40)

My bets for today. Hoping for an upset from GamerLegion against Astralis.

Astralis are looking good coming off the break and winning their last two in 2:0 fashion.
Seems like they needed the summer to get their heads back into what they were doing a few seasons ago.
FURIA on the other hand surprised me since they were simply abysmal before the summer break back at Blast, Dallas and in Cologne for IEM.
Recently they have had a little bit of a run and it seems the changes in their roster have seemed to become cohesive enough to string along a few wins. With the likes of Fallen joining the team from Imperial Esports.

Looking forward to the matches starting in about 40 minutes from now.
Grayhound vs ORKS
Astralis vs FURIA
Gamerlegion vs Ninjas in Pyjamas

Good luck to all with their bets in ESL Pro League this weekend!

Congrats to SMG, Entity and Quest for making it to TI surviving the brutal qualifiers!  Grin

SEA Qualifiers is so tough and many teams now is not on the list of the top teams we always see in the TI qualifiers, example the team Liquid with Kuro after Miracle- get hiatus in the game the Team Nigma Galaxy doesn't perform well, another thing is Team Secret this year they skip the TI for almost 11 years Puppey keep trying to attempt to have this Aegis. AFAIK they made an announcement that Entity and EG is now have an invite to the TI, Gabbi really carry this Entity so hard, so fun the community makes a meme to Gabbi and Armel.

For me, it's CSGO as a whole and the amount of upset happening each day is similar to baseball, tennis, and hockey.

Congratulations to all three of them. I have watch majority of the games from these qualified teams and it seems too easy for them when it has come to their last qualifying matches. I'll just wanna talk about the offlaner of Entity who was replaced now by Gabbi which is Tobi. When Entity has kicked them, it's obvious that he's the weakest link of the team. And when he's transferred to Quest Esports, both Entity and Quest Esports became stronger. So, his transfer did the better for both teams and they're going to meet Entity's former offlaner in the TI.

I have no problem with the current roster of OG. It is just that WEU competition is really high.
Super agree to this, even the division 2 team is now very hard ro defeat and sometimes can beat div 1 team on close match just like what happens to Nigma.
It's the best region, no Team Secret this time, no OG, no Nigma again. I think that the easiest region for this qualifier is the South America region. NA is quite easy as well, Dendi and his B8 team transferred there but a controversy has been brought by Quinn that they were not really playing in the NA but somewhere in Europe or in Ukraine but still, they didn't win the qualifier.
