Let's go back to Aurora versus Heroic.

What can you say about this chat from Aurora.23savage? Cheesy
23savage is just being savage again  Cheesy
A lot of people say that SEA is being toxic because of this, but I don't think so.
Some also telling that The International without SEA team is boring, I agree  Cheesy

It's disappointing how nouns fell short against BetBoom, from beating one of the best EEU teams in the seeding match to quickly losing against one of the weaker EEU teams in an elimination match.

I guess its safe to say now that BetBoom is currently the best EEU team because they are the only EEU left on TI. I cant believe that  XG managed to knock out Team Spirit. Huge comeback after losing the 1st map. Dang if only Falcons isnt on the lower bracket then I guess I would say its safe bet XG to win the remaining lower bracket games until the grand final

2 days break for TI, so far it is pretty good atleast for me

What a bizare game  Cheesy. Aurora 2-1 Heroic. Looking at the last map, it seemed like Dragon Knight would win the game to his net worth.
Aurora played better team play and won the game, the fate of the game changed when Tusk Aghanim won, they cancelled the DK with a kick, nice team fight.
Aghanim and refresher were very strong in Void when they hit and they directly finished the game when they got a team fight.
Since there was no buyback in DK and OmniKnight, they could not do any defense.

Talon, Zero, 1win, and nouns are already eliminated. It's disappointing how nouns fell short against BetBoom, from beating one of the best EEU teams in the seeding match to quickly losing against one of the weaker EEU teams in an elimination match.
They've beaten Team Spirit twice and then they've been beaten by BetBoom. To be honest, I'm expecting them to end this TI with a 4th-6th placer but then they ended 9th-12th placer.

Just to give some visuals about the prize distribution of this TI2024 that has almost $2.5M in prize pool. It was way lower than of the past biggest prize distributions and pools.

Maybe I will bet more once the games are live like after their picks, so it depends.
It's also better to bet on the matches once they're live and after the drafting phase because certain teams have different ways of approaching the draft like Team Spirit who got too confident and forced the same lineup.

Those megacreep bets are tasty with those odds, assuming it'll be a toss-up regardless of what happens on every map.

It's difficult to predict the games in the lower bracket right now.
So, I will try to bet for all the maps of lower bracket games that MEGA CREEPS - YES.
Games are beastcoast vs heroic and team spirit versus G2.iG.

Maybe I will bet more once the games are live like after their picks, so it depends.

The last match for the day is in-game now, GG versus nouns.
I almost believed in nouns after they're up 1-0, but Gaimin Gladiators shut them down in the next two maps.
The game ended in favor of Gaimin Gladiators. I think that very first match that nouns took gave them confidence but as an experienced team, GG swept them straight for two games. And as I watch the Betboom and Talon Esports match right now, it's already 1-0 for Betboom.
Whoever wins the game will have to face nouns in the third series of this day. So, whoever wins will have a few hours to rest while nouns have a longer hours of rest before the face each other.

Yeah, they really can't finish that, they still have fortification, and Luna is still there. They should not force the throne where the consequence is they will be wiped out, that's the mistake I saw from them because after the wipeout, it's already done, Tundra is already above and steps ahead of them.
But maybe they really forcing to finish as early as possible because they can't able to handle Luna anymore in late game? Which I agree also if that.
I had to look back at the highlights after Tundra lost the fight there was a lot of time, and the respawn timers were around two minutes. When Willow and Invoker were the only heroes alive from the side of Tundra they bought so much time after they tried to pick off Rubick near their outpost and spent 20-30 seconds to punish the Willow.

They still had the firepower to handle Luna as long as they threw everything on her, they got to run her down in that one late game fight around the Dire secret shop. During their final push, the Elder Titan ult on top probably caught them off guard.

I think Falcons should won that game if they just FF the throne and tower while ATF just doom Invoker. Skitter is the only one hitting the throne that makes it too slow to destroy. Too satisfying to watch close game like this.  Shocked
I also thought they had enough time from the long respawn timers. They might've underestimated Luna's burst potential in melee range combined with the lucent beams and glaives. Even if they all start hitting the throne I doubt it's enough because Tundra still has the fortification and if they grouped up it'll be an easy setup for Tundra.

There was a CS2 competition recently finished which was BetBoom Dacha Belgrade. I got really excited to see EF reaching the finale but they lost hard vs Spirit like 3-0.  Sad

Now we have ESL Pro League Season 20 started already. I hope we can do better things. As an EF fan, it feels different to have a draw against another Turkish team Sangal Esports in the upper bracket.

The odds are like 1.48 for EF win and 2.50 for Sangal win. A single bet doesn't look worth for only 1.48 but I'm confident we will be victorious.  Cool
I haven't watched cs matches for a long time. A lot has changed since cs2 came out. When I saw the success of Eternal Fire, I got back into it, actually good bets can be made by following. As you said, Eternal Fire - It didn't have much trouble beating Sangal, it was an easy bet, 1.48 odds weren't bad for those who trust Eternal Fire.

And I agree about the push at the mid up to throne for Falcons, they should have won that when they have coordinate to each other. It took a lot of seconds for them to realize that skiter was hitting the tower alone. But still, props to Topson and willow there as well. They have defended the throne very well and bought sometime for Luna and the other teammates that were about to respawn.

This is I think the first time that Tundra won against Team Falcons. CMIIW.

I think the rest of the team trying to catch sneaky invo and willow on the back lines why they can’t do anything to close the gap due to a lot of disable skills by the 2 heroes alone.

They are hesitant to hit the throne all together because they will just being kite by topson spells combo with willow AOE disable. I’m not sure if doom was cooldown that time but Ammar should just use it even to Willow just to stop one of them from delaying the push.
There was a doom there and it was casted that had led to topson dying but it was on the last seconds when luna was about to respawn. They'll surely be poked by invo and willow there while hitting the tower but I think that it would cause some panic to Tundra's side. Anyway, it seems that it was well calculated by Tundra and they all really great there and it seems that it's an actual TI finals match.

The last match for the day is in-game now, GG versus nouns.

Done watching Falcons vs Tundra game! Game 2 is so intense since Tundra is already near defeat with exposed throne. Topson invo and Willow really do a solid job to delay the complete hero push of Falcons using all their disables which is very effective until Pure manage to revive and manage clean up all the Falcon heroes that targeting the throne.

I think Falcons should won that game if they just FF the throne and tower while ATF just doom Invoker. Skitter is the only one hitting the throne that makes it too slow to destroy. Too satisfying to watch close game like this.  Shocked
Falcons don't just know how to forfeit even if the game doesn't seem favorable to them. It's true that Topson's invo and willow did really well and it all started when they have pressured the bottom lane and they've been there for so long damaging the tier 3 tower. As for Falcons, they took a long time before they have noticed that and I think that was the momentum for Tundra and pure's luna is totally fat.

I just scout both team especially Nouns and I notice that they have Fly and Yuma as notable player but I’m confused on why Team Spirit can be kick out by this team to lower bracket while TS performs decent with complete roster on last tournament in Riyadh. Is there something bad happening with their game play on this TI?

Edit:

I just watch the match. Larl sucks again. Copy completely dominate the whole TS.  Cheesy
The first map was close, it came down to who gets jumped on first and Tinker warp flaring the shackled enemies only helped nouns. The execution from the side of Nouns was great and the buybacks during the late game team fights gave them the edge to close the game.

On the next map, things got easier for Nouns when Team Spirit invested on heroes with mostly big single target spells. They also didn't learn from their mistakes in the previous map and still picked Batrider with Tinker support. This time Larl had to play it in the mid lane, and I think he underperformed since he's not in his usual heroes that could deal a lot of damage like Tiny, Puck, QOP.

I didn’t watch the first map but I thought it’s not a close fight since Nouns already got a total read to their game play on game 2.

Larl Batrider act as support from mid to late game because he failed to deliver pressure on only games. Luna is having a hard time on the laning phase until SK create a lot of good play with his rotation and clutch epicenter during clash that gives Luna enough space to farm freely and recover.

Quote
Now they get to replicate their lower bracket run from TI10 or maybe G2.IG could send them home early.

I still think this way if collapse can do the same game he show last TI which is always the game changer on all of their TI run championship.

Here you go guys, the The International 2024 (TI13) Playoffs bracket.
Team Liquid won against XTREME gaming, so they are the first time now to advance to the main event, XTREMEGAMING is dropped to the lower bracket.

I'm already late to bet, but here's my first bet on the playoff event. It's a parlay for a dominating team. I was able to get 2 odds, this is just an introduction, a small bet.
Good luck to everyone.

The odds were reasonable, giving us a hint that the game would be unpredictable. Anyway, right now, I'm watching Nouns vs. Team Spirit, and it looks like Team Spirit is going to the lower bracket.

I’m late to notice that TI13 is already started which is sucks because I missed a lot of betting opportunities on the group stage.
