I dont like this Complexity team half as much as the one that had blameF in it but vs mibr its a close game.  Im trying to arrive mid game and still bet, its 2nd map and mibr nearly trashed col outright.    A late underdog bet for 2nd map turnaround, its col pick but just small one as this seems quite near death for them sadly, briefly the odds to win overall and the 2nd map was about the same

A quick question for the Dota 2 guys out here. Do you still bet on events that include Chinese qualifiers? It seems that that region is plagued with match fixing
unless you want to bet in some really obscure and very low-tier game/league, i'd say you're fine most of the time. Every region is plagued with 322 matchfixing, it's not just CN, so the risk factor is always there, but nowadays betting on tier 1 and tier 2 events should be safe

The Aster vs EHOME game just really made me question if even tier 1/2 games in Cn is safe from match fixing. Just check game 2 of that matchup for China DPC. Aster is clearly trashing EHOME to the core and all of a sudden Alche dives in alone with no support on a 4 position Pugna and they just lost the game from there. I don't think it's a coincidence because it happened two games in a row. Aster taking the lead and then all of a sudden, either the carry feeds or the mid laner goes solo targetting a value-less support in exchange of dying.

It happened too on RNG and Xtreme gaming. RNG took the lead both games and then a 'slip up' happens. Btw these two teams (EHOME and Xtreme) were both underdogs before the matches started. Just some crazy shit happens in mid game when someone feeds and they can't recover anymore.

Maybe I'm just reading too much into things but I lost trust in Cn Dota that is not a part of a major tournament.

I don't want to exaggerate but i think Betboom are gonna win the major 😂 🤣 in all seriousness, beating Team spirit and NaVi is no small feat, BB are legit, i genuinely think they can beat Outsiders tomorrow... you guys reckon this is gonna be a close series (over 2.5) ?

and, really unfortunate what just happened with the CN teams, could hardly call it a major with an entire region missing out the big stage... Well, at least Evil Geniuses are happy they won't have to face their nemesis lol

A quick question for the Dota 2 guys out here. Do you still bet on events that include Chinese qualifiers? It seems that that region is plagued with match fixing, although no one seems to get sanctioned or banned for such actions even if reasonable points and questions can be raised on how some teams behave when match against underdogs. I know that next major is still far away, like ~4 months or so, and with not much going around the dota scene, this leaves us with small events to bet on. The Chinese scene has lots of games to offer and games that one can bet on, but do you think it's worth it?

Genuinely curious because I've been following the Chinese DPC after that loss I have on EHOME v Aster.

⌃  yeah actually CSGO is still avalaible but you gotta go through all the other icons in the carousel which is very annoying, it's the last one next to Dota. Tbh, i was using SB for my bets mostly because of the daily boost which blows every other sportsbook out of the water. But without it i don't see much reason to keep using SB, Betsy is fine, it offers more markets than SB's regular sportsbook, but the margins are atrocious
Good thing they brought it back, while I was checking the page at that time it disappeared from the list so I had to browse through my history just to get the link and unfortunately it doesn't work and it immediately redirects me to the homepage. I definitely agree the juice is crazy when comparing the odds between map handicaps and match winner.

Also, Perfect World announced that the qualified CN teams wouldn't be able to participate in the Major and they'll just go with another Regional Finals as an alternative.

The DPC CN Tour 2 Regional Final will be played from May 6 - 8 for the upcoming Stockholm Major 2022.

Though CN teams will not be traveling to Sweden, you can still catch them battling it out in an elimination bracket next month in all the usual places.

Watched the replay. Damn they have skills! Rotation is good, laning phase is good too. Plus that DR courier snipe lol. I should have went for over 2.5 maps too, but oh well I relied on my gut feeling but it just wasn't enough for today's game.

The moment that BB won the 1st game, Im pretty sure that it will go over 2.5 games. My simple reasoning was that Team Spirit hasnt been playing in any competitive scene since the 1st DPC together ( iirc Mira didnt join the team on Gamers Galaxy ) and BB has been playing quite alot lately and also won DCLS9 so it should be over 2.5 games

Spicing it up abit by taking BB -1.5  Smiley

Edit : turned out to be a bad decision after all  Roll Eyes

Betboom v NaVi in a few hours, BB is the favorites in the bookies, no surprises here, i'll jump on the BB hype train (:
I am on over 2.5 maps here. NaVi is sort of hit and miss team for me and I expect them to do really well in one game and really bad in other. Just depends if they will win that one good draft that has everything going on for them.

Bet Boost and x5 multi insurance are best things in gambling world, if eSports get excluded from them I think I will seriously lower my eSports exposure.

i could sniff out an upset yesterday when i was thinking about the +1.5 handicap in the games, but didn't expect it to be TS.

I didn't go for the Betboom handicap, i thought it was too risk, but i'm kinda regretting it lol i'm watching the match and it's a good early game for BB, 17-6 and a 6k gold lead, this could snowball out of control
Props to them for pulling the upset and Team Spirit was too stubborn for forcing the same CK carry twice in a row when it already didn't work out the first time around.

Also, Sportsbet made some changes just now and that they have removed a couple of esports games from the main list (csgo and dota) and added the esports button (that leads to betsy) in the upper part of the page where all the other sports are listed. The downside for this is that we can't use the odds boost but hopefully they'll integrate it into the Betsy page just like what they did with their horse racing.

Where are people watching these Esporting events. I don’t think I’ve ever seen one televised but I know they’re extremely popular. Are people watching these types of events on social media live feeds or is there a website that broadcasts such events. The only Esports platform I’m aware of is twitch and that seems like more of a personal video game streaming platform. So I’m wondering, let’s say I wanted to watch the next big event. How would I find it to watch and where would I get more information about it?

Apart from what Trofo said, some of these off-tournament games can be found directly on the game's client too. Dota 2 has a dedicated 'Watch' tab wherein you can directly view these games from the game client--though sometimes there aren't any casters on the game and you just really have to have good understanding of the mechanics to make the watching experience enjoyable.

Not really sure who the guys are on Bet Boom apart from Sonneiko and Daxak but so far, they are doing good against T2 - T3 CIS teams.

Honestly, BB is a pretty decent team and they've won DCLS9 recently. Took over 2.5 games on this one

Who makes a wage with the match of Navi versus HR?

I did on game 2 and won.

I'ts an easy game because the enchant and beast dominated the top lane imagine void and bane can't do anything just the 5 minutes mark they manage to win the top lane and after they saw the potential of this pushing strategy, they keep pressuring the game until the end and the void and invokes combo can't do anything congrats with your win.

What are you guys gonna watch tomorrow?
I ended up picking Team Spirit -1.5 @1.82 initially I was planning to take the handicap on CIS Rejects but the odds are way too juiced on Betsy and unfortunately it's the only series that's not yet available on BetRadar while they have the other two. Hopefully, Team Spirit won't be rusty on their opening series and doesn't draft something unusual like the other teams have been doing.
Good luck
I'm 2-0 today thanks to Rejects and ENCE. I didn't go for the Betboom handicap, i thought it was too risk, but i'm kinda regretting it lol i'm watching the match and it's a good early game for BB, 17-6 and a 6k gold lead, this could snowball out of control

@OgNasty : If you are curious which twitch channel to watch, just scroll down those liquipedia page of your esports preference and normally they will include links to streams as well

This is an example for the upcoming stream channel for DOTA2 Major

Twitch is the place to go. You will be surprised by the quality and effort put into those streams. All bigger events have studios and several people casting. For instance I am mainly watching DOTA. Standard cast for DOTA tournaments is usually 5 people per game. 3 in the studio, let's say one of them is sort of host while other 2 are experts and they talk you trough the draft stage and then you have another 2 who take over the game with live commentary.

Who makes a wage with the match of Navi versus HR? At the first glance the pick of the HR is already in favour with them and of course, its tiny against the TB its all about the late game but the viper pick does not give too much impact on the game also the Navi have a close fight because they make a throw before ending the throne but still they manage to bring the mega. In the game two the unexpected pick with the Enchantres and the Beastmaster and the troll unit makes a summon too many skeletons and they manage to push towers within ten minutes easily and thats how they got the game two.

Placed a few dollars on Team Spirit -1.5 against Bet Boom. Not really sure who the guys are on Bet Boom apart from Sonneiko and Daxak but so far, they are doing good against T2 - T3 CIS teams. Team Spirit can still close this game without losing a map if TORONTOTOKYO decides to play a disciplined mid lane and not go cocky against players whom he deem as someone below him. Hopefully he doesn't tilt against his enemies and play as disciplined as he should be to close the series without a problem.

Yes, with the CIS qualifier scheduled tomorrow two CIS teams will join the major. I don't know how it'll be handled but I hope they don't run into any issues.

There will be 3 teams from the EEU region that will join the major. Its quite interesting that they decided to go with bracket format instead of round-robin format like the other region. There seems to be an issue with Virtus.pro being sanctioned or whatsoever so the team will be participating under a different name for the team and aside from this everything else seems to be alright

Abit late for the 1st game so I took this instead as I think that Navi will be able to get 2-0 sweep

friendly reminder that BLAST Premier Spring NA and EU starts tomorrow. ENCE to beat cph is a lock for me

i'm also thinking about a single bet in DPC EEU but not sure which one: +1.5 CIS Rejects or +1.5 BetBoom. It's hard to think Team Spirit could drop a map against BB but you never know, BB are one of the best t2 teams in CIS, but CIS Rejects might stand a better chances against Outsiders. What are you guys gonna watch tomorrow?
