huh, so this is what happens when i don't post my daily picks here, eh? unlucky day for me on soccer tickets, but esports? 4/4 wins! 👀 my best record in months i think...let me brag a little bit, yeah? Tongue

gonna share my next pick tho:

bookies don't seem to care that FPX will be playing with a new sub that's coming from their academy (because the main sub for BO, Tian, just sucks) and they have Funplux ML at around 2.00 odds...surely the JDG odds will get slashed, they should be the heavy favorites here...right?

Next match for today Gambit Esports vs Virtus.Pro that gone be an great match.
im dont think ever that Gambit come so far  Shocked Shocked Shocked
butt they play very good this session.
I still think VP will take it home, Sh1ro might be the clutch king but Jame, quikert, Yekindar have all been in some amazing form. Yekindar barely misses anything its unbelievable how good he is. Also, There's Buster and Sanji and they are no slouches. For Gambit, Ax1Le has been amazing but overall I feel VP have a lot more quality and their strats have been on point.

Yekindar is doing great job for Virtus.pro and Jame was absolute beast yesterday. They gave Liquid no room and were punishing them with everything. Jame was hitting every shot in yesterdayy match, and I think he achieved some record for Mirage yesterday with AWP kills I guess. Well that's not it only have anyone of you seen an AWP'er entry fragging going into bomb site like nothing to worry about? well Jame was doing that and was having quite success at that also lol .

I was expecting a close game between VP and Liquid but it seemed like a quick 2-0. Stewie2k had a off day today.. not finding any impact whatsoever. He couldnt catch a break, getting almost always tagged mid doors while crossing towards B by awp and then VP converging on the poor 2 defenders on B, time and time again. Liquid just got out strated. Generally you expect Liquid players to have the best aim in the game but even that didnt work out. Jame came out massive after a disappointing quarter finals. Yekindar and Buster looked sharp as usual and they outdueled Liquid almost every time.

Looks like another underdog is about to win with Gambit taking their map pick and already leading 9-1 in the second map.

I am waiting for the spike in the ranks of both the teams. They have really defeated some good ranked teams to come here.

The series between Liquid and VP seems like a coinflip since both of them were able to take down the top teams but Liquid were able to take down Navi while VP struggled with them at the start of the group stage. With that said i'm taking Liquid @2.29, VP might have the better results sweeping teams 2-0 during their lower bracket run but I still see some value on the side of Liquid as they're capable of doing the same thing.

I am actually looking forward to this one. It will be exciting to watch as to find if Liquid had done their homework well with VP and tricks and also if VP has some new tricks with going all out against Astralis yesterday.

Surely gonna be a tight match.

Out of the blue CIS teams are dominating the Counter Strike scene. Where did that come from? VP, Gambit and Team Spirit are playing some world class CS and at least one team CIS team is going to make it to the Grand Finals. Mad Scenes.

Correct. Shocked me also.. but maybe it's all other teams playing not the usual CS. Yesterday Astralis didn't have any replies to VP's tricks but VP actually pulled off so many tricks from their hat- fakes, multiple rounds with early aggression and that is what made them find opening after catching Astralis on surprise. If you check the match again you will find Virtus Pro pulled off all the tricks while being in T side and Astralis had no answers for that. Astralis were playing like usual but VP had done their homework and they defeated Astralis to advance to semis.

CIS team always have good aim but fall down in other ways, still its unexpected.  Hobbit is world champ major winner but I dont know the others are of the same standard to be pulling off this victory and not even 3 maps.

I was busy today and just as well I was because I would have bet 3 maps here but only after also betting Astralis so doubt I would have made anything as the 3 maps odds was 1.93x so not great but lucky I had to go so skipped.   Have to remember VP is kinda good, not just a faint memory of the old team.   Nice day for anyone who guessed underdogs

Haven't seen CS matches lately. Tuned up to all CL and Europa matches but guess I am missing some crazy matches here as well. Team Spirit and Gambit are performing great huh? hmmm..

Virtus pro vs Astralis up ahead...time for me to get back into CS.  Cheesy

Weird to see even S1mple not managing +K/D. Nobody from Navi had +K/D. Navi had won it last year.
It is good to skip CS for now.

Plus you forgot to mention that Gambit's whole team had all in +K/D. Didn't watched the match and I can pretty much guess Gambit didn't gave NaVi any proper momentum going on. Good for Gambit to advance to meet Team Spirit in Semis (will watch this closely) <-any notable players in these teams?

Team Spirit and Gambit has to step up their games specially if they want to face better opponents. Some of the players play better when they are facing stronger teams and can even result into upsets. Simple is actually struggling somehow but its still good to see NaVi not backing down from matches. They have to do a lot of Eco rounds which really hurts. Skipping CS games is only fine because its only the beginning of their season.

and good luck in your Dota ticket, i just checked the odds for this match and i was sure Navi ML was around 3.0x odds, but they got slashed and it's now 2.8x, but i could be wrong 🧐
I am also on NaVi but more safe bet to take at least one map @1.65. I played it in a double with As Monaco Gambit -1.5 @2.3 which passed much easier than I expected. They destroyed Extremum in both maps with great performances from Noone on Kunkka. Can't believe they let him play it on second map after the first.

Skipping on CS for the time being. I lost money on almost all games I had a bet on in the last couple of weeks so waiting for my mojo to come back.
Unlucky for navi CS go bettors as they didnt even manage to get a map out of the matchup. Nobody from Navi seemed to be up to task.

When it comes to Dota 2,  VP are on a 6 match win streak while Navi were on a 7 game win streak (including beating OG) but they lost to Team Spirit in their last match 2-1. VP are favs to win but I like Navi's lineup in general. VP do have much more experience though with GPK in their roster. Looking forward to see a good match up.

wtf?? Heroic bench b0RUP, niko and then Heroic sign sjuush, refrezh

i'm gonna have a blast watching Heroic playing in Nine to Five and some other second rate tourney once their ranking starts dropping with this new line-up lol  Mad lions 😂🤣😭🤣

in other news, EDG finally lost their first series in the LPL Spring after a shocking 0-2 vs. IG...heh! bookmakers making a killing cos everyone took EDG -1.5 =P

I guess the bookies aren't that convinced on Astralis' recent performance and on the other side you have VP that's rising in the rankings. I'm thinking over 2.5 maps is the play due to Astralis' loss against Spirit but I feel like that loss didn't matter too much as they're already qualified and with that it's probably better to take Astralis or VP depending on your gut feeling since both teams result rarely go to all three maps.
I think the Astralis moneyline is simply too good. You don't see those odds very often so might as well grab it while you can, no?  Smiley  I do expect a very close map 1, it will be either D2, OVP or Inferno, and a quick look at VP's recent matches in those maps tells me that while they do have a tremendous winrate % there, the games end up being much closer than what you'd think, so my tickets for today are:

tomorrow: Virtus.Pro - Astralis. Bookmakers have the underdogs moneyline at 2.4x odds which is actually pretty low considering they'll be playing the almighty danish team. VP didn't drop a single map vs. Furia, NiP and Vitality in the lower bracket of group stage. I seriously don't know how this is gonna go :/  thoughts?

VP also have a dota game later today against Navi that series will decide if they'll get the playoff spot or force a tiebreaker. VP with the 6-0 flawless performance only dropping one map so far this is probably their series to lose but i'll be going with over 2.5 maps since Navi could easily take a map from VP if they get a good draft.

I like VP too in the last month, they definitely changed a lot since 2020. If they keep performing like that they should make Astralis fight for their money. For betting I focus more on CSGO than on Dota 2, but I still play some games myself. I agree that the most important thing about the game is drafting, playing a good game just comes natural if you have the hard counters against your enemies.

For Dota, I generally go map to map basis just to make sure there aren't any cheese picks involved which could potentially be dangerous if I had bet pre-match. VP have beaten Furia, Vitality as well as NIP is a quick 2-0 fashion in a row and the momentum is with them. While, Astralis just lost to Team Spirit after winning the first map. 3rd map(Dust 2) was a blowout 16-1 in favor of Spirit. VP being from the same region as team Spirit and Dust 2 being one of the maps they are very comfortable playing on. We could potentially see Dust 2 in the map pool again. Should be a good match to watch. It is very tough for me personally to bet against Astralis. Just look at the names in the squad!
